16:40 he’s not repairing likely because you don’t have any more repair kits to repair with. You can check by pressing “X” or the examine button in the bottom right toolbar. Usually if I run out, I’ll just try and steal a few from enemy trucks, mortars, or machine guns
Also having an engineering vehicle can be helpful, not only is it full of nice gear like mines it has a reload circle around it that reloads mines in mine laying teams and restocks repair kits in vehicles. The cost of carrying it in is worth it for that point alone as long battles really chew through the repair kits.
@@thescotsman9825 I’m a very partial to AT mines as I usually have about 3 of their cars in my lineup when I’m defending, but I’ve just never really developed a need for the engineering truck. By the time my miners have placed all their mines and gotten to safety, the attack is usually already starting and I don’t really have time to micro more mine laying
My guess would be in-between waves? So, the first wave hits a number of mines, you restock, and while they're mustering for a 2nd attack you can hit those holes OR try another line farther in/another locale
You move too fast without strong artillery, pick your lanes, lock them down, and then rotate your tail. You push infantry forward, un-supported, then fill gaps with tanks. You are then forced to push tanks forward into the fog where there could be AT. Plus, you shift entire squads, send pairs that leapfrog.
I like to always have a light howitzer like the german 75mm le.IG 18 for every two-three squads of infantry, it has OK range and is quite accurate and fast firing, while also packing enough punch to take out light-medium tanks with HEAT. So i always have the howitzer covering while my infantry advances and vice versa. Every time i play Germany in conquest, this howitzer does most of the killing, even late game.
The first thing I unlock is the mortar. though, i agree, arty is very nice to support movement. i usually have a dual mortar team and a whole 80-point arty load out by the end. @@weekikk
10:25 I like how you grab the tank see one Russian 50 yards from you and the very first course of action you take is trying to put a 45mm HE shell through his dome. 😂
As Finland, I prefer to use my research to only get AT, artillery, or infantry research and get all my tanks from captures. It makes more sense historically imho
Thats exactly how I play it too. But I kinda forgot to develop better AT artillery... which is now quite a problem because AI is trowing at me KVs that only like 2 guns in my inventory are able to destroy :D (both of them are liberated 122mm A-19)
You ran out of repair kits on the BT-5. If you move something with repair kits close to it (ie: any vehicle or field gun) they'll take it automatically when you select repair.
With the length of this campaign you probably won't see any T-34s before it's over. The heaviest you'll get are likely the T-28 and its variations. It takes a decent number of battles before the enemy does a large unit shift.
Cav squads are pretty good. Also, the marksmen squad are honestly disgustingly good as long as you’re fighting in open terrain where SMGs are not king. They have a rifle skill of 7 I believe (better than a sniper).
pretty sure it exists in a way like, if you have soldiers in a trench or taking cover behind something if they get shot too close to them, they will crouch and stay hidden or at least i think it works that way
I've bought almost all the games Wolfpack has done series on and enjoyed them immensly. You, sir, have a refined taste for strategy ganre) Currently going through my own Very Long Finnish campaign in GoH. Playing on Hardcore from the start and squandering more than a couple of attempts, I've finaly managed to capture a whole bunch of T34s and KVs and now the assaults are mostly a walk in the park. The defence missions, though, are not, because of a long-range artillary and occasional bombers ruining the otherwise impregnable defences and destroying the equipment beyond repair
If you are interested in good war movies from the finnish perspective. I highly recommend the film "The Winter War" from 1989.. It is a masterpiece in story.. Long though
You can repair a badly-damaged tank with up to three soldiers, but you have to click on them individually. I believe it is to repair each side and center.
Love this series. Bought the game but just learning to play these types of games again. Last game of this type i played was battlefield 1942 pc back in the day. Keep em coming & yeah episodes go so quickly.
Oh, I’d also advise that the border jäger squad is identical to the jäger squad but it gets a machine gun to replace a rifle so it’s just better. In all honesty, the regular jäger squad is not something I use all that frequently.
Marksman are the best infantry they all got standard rifles but the skill for rifle is 7 which is better than the sniper, they also have insane health and just wreck infantry at long range before the enemy shoot back and fairly cheap at 128 crowns a squad
As an ex tanker I can tell you that you lost your BT because you kept cresting the hill in the same place. Western crewmen are trained to “ jockey” their AFV When reversing down a slope you turn slightly so that when you go forward you pop back up in a slightly different spot buying you much needed time while the enemy gunner has to adjust his him
Your BT was probably out of Repair kits, since you repaired it twice. They can grab repair kit from other vehicle if its nearby. You'll be sorry for pushing so far in Research tree. There is pretty good chance enemy will start pulling KVs and T-34s, aswell as bigger guns now.
7:20 why throw smoke and then run past it before it even goes off? Probably better off not even stopping then, since it was basically just more time under fire
What's funny is that Finnish Soldiers sometimes yell “Perkele!" As if the soviets destroyd all their booze 😂
I think that's against the Geneva Convention?
One of the first Finnish words what foreigner usually learns is "perkele" 😄 Greetings from Finland🇫🇮
@@timoharkonen9154 i agree , that was definitely in my 10 words that i first learned.
@@timoharkonen9154 My summer car, from this videogame learned perkele and satana.

Easier to check by selecting the tank and pressing I for Inventory, if there are still crew in it.

This series got me into the game, been playing non stop ever since, Keep up the great videos!
Same here. Went straight to playing as the Finns, too.

Well, they're the ones that brought a 50 to a tank battle. 😂
TBF, I'm pretty sure they thought this was a battle, not "War Crimes: The Game" lol
Great episode. I'm really enjoying this series so far. The Finns are definitely kicking butt.
Thank you!

That’s what I do as then it’s basically thief simulator I got 5 tank crews on wave 3

I would love to see a Modern Conquest series of Call To Arms
I’m really enjoying this game please do a lot more of it
I love this series, I would like it if you did a quick visual round up of what you captured after the end of the mission.
I can do that!
As I’m Dyslexic every week I think it’s the final week 😂. Another good episode

That marksmen squad seriously slays
So cool to watch, im bery bad at the game so its good to watch and learn from you wolfpack
Haha well I'm not all that great either :p
Sad there is no supression system in this game. Would really improve the game with supression and lower accuracy
pretty sure it exists in a way
like, if you have soldiers in a trench or taking cover behind something

You can mod for guns to be less accurate, but that makes them burn ammo super fast
Good video.
I was clicking the minimap from 7min in every-time a red dot appeared behind you for a sec then disappeared without you noticing.

Crying at the double accidental white phosphoring of that squad and the misfired mortar that fragged wolf's own mg team.
