Ditto will be transformed as a different Pokémon. You can hold ZL on the Pokémon to see it’s species and it’s name will appear. Instead of trying to battle each pokemon
I hope they patch that, it's way more fun doing it without targeting, I hope they can make it so the name shows up as whatever pokemon it's disguised as
Or just breed for the nature you want the brute force way. Then use an everstone after you get the nature you want. Also, you could get a ditto of every nature and you can easily get any nature you want on any Pokémon.
You need an ability PATCH not a capsule to get a hidden ability. The capsule will swap between two normal abilities, and a patch will switch a normal ability to a hidden ability, but not back to a normal ability (not sure if they changed that, but thats how it worked in gen8)

Minor Correction, you need to beat the game (as in see the credits) to unlock the judge feature, not just beat the three storylines Minor Correction 2, Ability PATCHES change a pokemon's ability from normal to hidden, ability capsules merely switch between non-hidden abilities for pokemon with two normal abilities
The best place to run around hatching eggs is the middle circle in levincia because no wild pokemon spawn and get in your way, and also it is a circle so no turning around needed. Just run around in the cicle until you are mesmerized in the loop. :)

Tip: the nature mints don’t change the real nature. They only change the stat. I gave my quaxly a adamant mint and gave it an everstone and the child had docile (it’s parent’s abiliti before I gave it the mint)
I hate this new breeding system. It wouldn't be so bad if you could get at least one egg every 30 seconds. I've gotten like 15 eggs, from lvl 2 egg power, in the 30 minutes that sandwiches are active. Hope they fix this
The pokemon from 5-6 star raids are great for breeding because they can have their hidden abilities and also good IVs. The key is getting that 6-star raid ditto then the game ramps up.
@@Ellazzara once you beat the game to credits, thats how you get 5 star raids. once you beat the academy ace tournament, you have to do an arbitrary amount of 5 star raids to unlock 6 star raids

You can go 1 step further and breed HAs into different balls. For example, you can breed a HA female smoliv in an ultra ball with a male non-HA smoliv in a friend ball in order to get a HA smoliv in a friend ball.

Weird glitch I learned when catching a ditto. I accidentally fainted a ditto the first trying to catch it. So I rebooted the game. I thought I was gonna have to finding it hiding again as another pokemon but I didn't. It was showing up as itself. So it was easier to find. I caught it the second time.
@PhillyBeatzU This is in response to 19:15 , I was breeding a wooper with poison point with a ditto with limber in hopes of getting the water absorb hidden ability but after watching your video I stopped, but I still had eggs left over. I ended up hatching a wooper with water absorb from a ditto and a wooper without neither of them having a special ability the only thing that wooper was holding was an ever stone to pass down the adamant nature, i don’t know exactly how but it is possible to get a hidden ability from breeding two Pokémon without them having one them selves, hope this is helpful. P.s After this happened, I gave the water absorb wooper the ever stone with adamant nature and bread with ditto, and got back 100% water absorb woopers with different IV’s.
Helpful guide. I am trying to get a Cutiefly with the move Moon blast while breeding with Clefable. But every time I hatch the egg, I get Cleffa, which I don’t want. How do I get Cutiefly with Moonblast without using the mirror herb? Is it down to luck or is it something specific?
You have to use a Female Cutiefly with a Male Clefairy/Clefable knowing Moonblast. As the mother Pokemon is the one that passed on its species. That's why you were only getting Cleffa eggs. I know this is super late but hopefully this info helps you in the future.

It speeds it up. In general simply being in a picnic will have the game try to make an egg, one every 60 seconds with about a 3% success rate. Having any level of Egg Power changes the check to one every 10 seconds, with a 15, 21, or 30% success rate depending on Egg Power level. So yeah you could set up a picnic, make food, and probably return to a couple eggs. You don't NEED Egg Power it just makes it significantly easier to find eggs.
not like IVs matter in scarlet when you can just max them with bottle caps anyways and abillity patches and capsules aren't as tedious to get anymore either the only important things that you can't change anymore are shininess and nature so be sure you have that right on your pokemon literally everything else can be changed later

If you Mirror Herb Acid Armor onto the parent Dragalge and then breed it with the Ditto, yes. You'll get eggs with Acid Armor. Note the Pokemon you Mirror Acid Armor from doesn't have to be compatible with Dragalge. If you don't want to use the Mirror Herb trick then you will be required to breed with a Male Pokemon knowing Acid Armor aka Sliggoo/Goodra
Why would you catch random dittos when you can acquire them in raids with at least 4 perfect IV’s which you can then use to breed Pokémon and receive more IV’s?
It’s usually good to fill at least a box or 2, otherwise it’s a lot of back and forth between hatching and getting more eggs. Especially if you’re going for perfect IV or shiny which best possible odds would be 1/32 and 1/512 respectively.
I have 5 iv ditto and garnacl 1iv theres a possibility that can breed a 6iv on this? Or i need one pokemon that have 6iv to get a perfect ivs even the partner have 2ivs.

If you want a hidden ability egg you'll first have to find a parent with the hidden ability in a Tera Raid or you can use an Ability Patch to force change the Pokemon's ability to the hidden. After that just picnic with it and the Ditto for infinite children that also have the hidden ability. Do note hidden abilities pass down only 60% of the time, the other 40% of eggs will have one of/the standard ability of the species. So don't freak out if your hidden ability parent breeds down a standard ability a few times. It's totally normal.

The ability capsule allows you to swap between any of a Pokemon’s normal abilities. (Abilities like Intimidate that you see all the time) The ability patch allows you to give your Pokémon it’s hidden ability (if applicable) So for example, if you use the ability patch on Skeledrige, you’ll get it’s hidden ability called Unaware, that allows it to attack through substitutes and stuff
For Gen 9 starters as of now, no. To pass a Pokeball you need to have caught that species in the desired ball. As Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly aren't available in the wild their only ball type is a regular Pokeball. On the bright side every other starter ever can be in other balls now so that's cool!

Sadly hidden abilities are locked from the starters. You can get them by using the Ability Patch item much later in the game. But otherwise you're stuck with the standard ability.

Guys if your inbreeding please stop to breed without inbreeding you need a lot of wild caught ones both male and female with egg moves if your using the same species and if not lots of pokemon of the nature you want on them (thier species in general). And you breed two then the baby of that with the baby of another wild caught one. (Yes you need best iv Pokémon and if you are using egg moves breed them onto like a 1-2 Iv or even your 0 iv it’s just easier. Than breeding a 5 iv pikachu with and torchic 0 I’ve and repeating till you get a 5 I’ve pichu with reversal and thunder punch (thunder punch I bred from the first set of parents. Male raichu had it from pokemon go. And then those babies stay put. And obviously you bred four 1-2 I’ve pokemon (preferably different ivs best amongst all of them. Then breed another pair of ivs different if possible at all. And if not on one then pick any you want perfect on it and any will do. Then breed the first baby with the second. The first and seconds baby with the third baby. The fourth baby breeds with the first and seconds babies and thirds baby. And so on and if you need two 5 ivs to breed a 6 iv easiest and you want to do that. Then repeat the process with a second same number of original wild pokemon with 1-2ivs. Do you get me?

I'm using a synchronize ralts with adamant nature, and the dittos I'm catching are still random natures. Synchronize is bunked in this game or am I doing something wrong?

Synchronizers don’t work out of battle anymore, gotta get nature mints which become available after 6 badges

guys make sure to have a pokemon like talonflame who has the ability flame body in ur party as it makes eggs hatch faster
The abilities magma armour and steam engine also help with hatching eggs.

Everstones guarantee the nature, Power weights guarantee one IV and destiny knot guarantees 4 stats

Paldean wooper does not have any hidden ability, its a 50% chance to get water absorb

Then breed another pair of ivs different if possible at all. And if not on one then pick any you want perfect on it and any will do. Then breed the first baby with the second. The first and seconds baby with the third baby. The fourth baby breeds with the first and seconds babies and thirds baby. And so on and if you need two 5 ivs to breed a 6 iv easiest and you want to do that. Then repeat the process with a second same number of original wild pokemon with 1-2ivs. Do you get me?

You can do multiple just make sure the pokemon that aren't ditto can't breed together
I got lucky because my Ditto was already in it’s original form when I saw it

I’ve been using a couple of Synchronize Raltz to get natures but it hasn’t worked? So I’m not sure if it works anymore.
It doesn't. Game Freak never put it in.
What happens if you have a pokemon with synchonize and try to catch a ditto?
Do they instantly get the same nature you do or does it still randomize?
I'm using a synchronize ralts with adamant nature, and the dittos I'm catching are still random natures. Synchronize is bunked in this game or am I doing something wrong?
