To be real with the people out there yes course careers is great but finding a job to be really challenging. Meaning getting a company to say yes for interview and then from there go through at least four or five interviews so it’s not a quick turnaround as people may think People out there just be mindful of that. You may not get a job right away because the interview process are way too long like for example, if you got an interview at a regular company, you may have one maybe two at the most interviews but with a tech company you are going to go at least four or five interviews and then you make it to the last round and they say they went with another candidate so it’s not that easy as people are saying people so keep that in mind
You can't really complain about that in any sales job. If you cant sell YOURSELF to the interviewers & the company, how would they expect you to sell THEIR product to other people?
That’s why you interview with multiple company’s at once so you have a better selection of what company you want to work with and what offer you want to accept. But yeah multiple round interviews are normal in tech 🤝🏽
First I want to congratulate you in your journey! I manifest good things for all of us as we continue together. If you don’t mind me asking I have a couple questions 1. Do you think it’s possible to break into an SDR position whilst also maintaining a full-time college student status (with discipline and proper time management skills) ? 2. What is the one characteristic you found most helpful when landing this role? 3. How has your success been meeting quota/becoming accustomed to the work environment as you wrap up your first thirty days? Thanks so much again for the amazing video and giving us a scoop of how your experience has been. Hope you continue with success in the future.
1. I would say yes but I’m not to sure what your college schedule looks like or how much time a week you could dedicate to a full time job 2. Having a growth mindset and always willing to learn 3. Quota attainment has been changing constantly so some months I hit it and others I come close Definitely recommend running coursecareers and see how things go and if this is a career you want to pursue over college then it’s feasible 🙏🏽 Much success to you as well 🙌🏽
That’s awesome! I’m actually going to be launching an exclusive tech sales community soon for this exact reason. I don’t have anyone top of mind but would love to have you apart of the community when ready! Connect with me via LinkedIn or Instagram

When it comes to making cold calls as a SDR , do you have to find the companies yourself? Or does your job give you a list of companies to call ?
Every company is different, but for mine I have numbers already to call which is nice
