The extra 27grams in the pro max feels light for its huge size. 2.The content consumption is on another level. If you are watching videos and photos from social media or you’re into watching sports streams like F1 & Football the pro max will absolutely bring the best experience for you (you’re gonna love watching live football in this 6.9 beautiful display) also you can watch it without the worry of getting your battery drained for the rest of your activity, the battery lasts way longer. 3. If you’re super into Mobile games , then hands down the 16 pro max is best available option. It’s a no brainier & even easily ahead of the S24Ultra 4. The screen is fuller than the pro. This is something most reviewers fail to notice. The Bezels are much thinner in pro max than the proS. It’s much immersive visual experience in the 16 pro max 5. If you’re primarily only one device user go for the 16 Pro max. But if you’re not into multiple devices (meaning you have a iPad or any other tablets for your other activities or have laptop with you all the time go for the Pro - because you simply have less use case to carry a giant screen with extra battery) 6. The pro feels handy in size and carrying around is easy compatible with almost all of your outfits. Where’s the pro max requires a bit more caution in small pockets. 7. The pro max is strictly a 2 hands phone (unless you have huge hands) don’t risk it trying to use it one hand. The pro is one handed , however the normal 16 is the best option for one handed use, it is slimmer and lighter and round comfortable edges than the Pro for one hand usage) Hope that helps, Thank you
6.7 inch was a perfect size. If they reduced the bezel on that, making it a 6.8 without increasing the footprint and a silicon carbon battery, it would feel sooo goood.
Lighter on the hands and honestly if I’m killing the phone battery in a whole day, I’ve probably hit my quota for Screen Time that day. We need to stop prioritizing being able to use our phone over 10 hours in a day. Ambient time is good for the soul.
Went from the 13 Pro Max to the 16 Pro. Everything is better, especially one handed use. I got so spoiled by the size and weight reduction that I nearly dropped my dad’s 15 Pro Max when borrowing it. I just wish the battery life was just as stellar, even compared to my 88% battery health 13 Pro Max, I end the day with ~10% less juice on my 16 Pro.
I agree. Def miss the battery on the 13pm. Was able to get like 2 days on one charge with light use. Def not getting that with the 16pro. Still a good phone so far
I had the 15 Pro Max and got a good deal with my new carrier and got the 16 Pro Max. It suits me better when it comes to battery life and I adjusted to the big size so that I don’t know if I would wanna downsize ever again.
Have just upgraded me and the wife. I had regular 8, she had 8 plus. I’ve gone for 16 Pro, she has gone for 16 Plus. For my part moving from the smaller 8 screen to the larger 16 Pro screen seems amazing, without the heft and suits my lifestyle. For my wife, she was already comfortable with a bigger phone so no issues for her. But one thing I should point out - the regular iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are REALLY, REALLY good phones, the 60MHz screen is NOT an issue in day to day use. They are much better value for the average everyday user, only semi-pro photographers and content creators really benefit from the Pro specs. I haven’t put a case on mine yet, but my wife has…and it makes the camera button BETTER!! It’s an open cutout, which prevents accidental pressing of the camera button, and the extra thickness of the case allow your finger to achieve the half press to access the camera controls in a much more accurate way. The speed of both phones and iOS18 (coming from the 8’s/iOS16) makes it seem like we’ve travelled to the future! Anyhow, will probably keep these until iPhone 24!!
I have iphone 8 and want to upgrade also…you guys dont have a problem with iPhone 16 pro and 16 plus size and weight?! I afraid it’s not handy for me… does it require two hands to text? I’m not a pro or even semi professional photographer and I dont have a massive social media page but still cant decide should I go for 16 or 16 pro even considering 15 pro!!!🤷🏻♀️
@ iphone 16 is light compared to the 16 Pro - I would get that one over the 15 Pro. The pictures and camera are still epic from the iPhone 16, compared to an 8.
I use my phone for work, school, and my personal life to keep in touch with people, family, coworkers, friends, students, etc. I also use it for productivity such as documenting, emails, photos and so forth. I access/use the device regularly throughout the day … the Max model is just too unwieldy and in the way most times while on the move. I’ve had al sizes of iPhones. The 16Pro seems to be the sweet spot for me. The max/Plus iPhones are great for sitting around for videos/movies/youtube and twiddling your thumbs on when consuming content and socializing over media platforms. The Max seriously requires all of one’s attention and two hands most times to effectively use the device. The pro is readily accessible with one or two hands in a pinch, which is what I need while active and relaxing.
It’s the first year where I switched up a size. This was primarily because the base storage on the smaller pro is too little and when you upgrade, the price is similar to the max phone. I have always been put off with the larger size but in recent years I’ve been put off with the poor battery life and abysmal battery degradation on the regular pro. Personally I don’t think that the regular pro and the max should have any feature disparity. It should just be a choice based on size. If you do get the max size, I’d recommend a case by Pitaka. Regular cases will make it feel like you’re carrying around a vhs cassette.
The pro does it for me, if i want a bigger screen, i have my laptop as well as my 13 inch ipad pro...what i really need is a device, something subtle to carry around the day..but i would have really liked it if the screen was 6.4inch or 6.5 inch. The pro max is a stretch...feels too huge to be comfortable.
I don’t know why people keep saying it’s the first time Apple has kept the tech the same. They’ve only differentiated the models twice since the iPhone X
right? it feels like theyre thinking bout the android side where the base model always has tons of compromises. apple mostly keeps the two sizes identical in specs.
This is funny that this video came across my page because I upgrade it from a iPhone 12 to a 16 pro but was thinking about getting the pro Max. I’m glad I stuck with my choice and got the pro instead.
2:40 Someone correct me if I’m wrong but Pro and pro Max always had the same cameras, with the only differentiating factors being a bigger screen and bigger battery
Incorrect. One lens on the pro max was previously better than pro. This year they’re exactly the same which is why so many people are opting for the pro.
Hi, great video! So last Wednesday I made the upgrade from an iPhone 12 to the iPhone 16 Pro, and I was so glad I stuck to my decision and not going for the Pro Max. One BIG factor was the price jump for the amount of HD space and the other was the price. I'm ever so happy with the 16 Pro and to be perfectly honest I like the fact that it's not too big to hold like you pointed out.
When I was looking into getting it I was concerned seeing many people switching from Pro Max to Pro...until I went to the store to see how it was. Basically same size as my previous phone, the Note 8. The way people were talking about the Pro Max made it seem like a gigantic monstrosity.
The exception was the 15s The 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max had different camera capabilities with the telephoto camera Now they’re back to being exactly the same. Which is probably why the 16 Pro increased in size so it could house the technology for the better telephoto camera.
im currently 14 pro max user, considering downsize to 16pro. Getting tired of carry big phones for many years including other android brands and not to mention the hefty weight of 14pro max.
It’s worth making the switch. I upgraded from the 15 p.m. model to the 16 p.m. model, and I have no regrets. The battery life remains the same as my previous model.
Honestly loving my 16PM. Got it mainly for the battery life. I feel the opposite really, the size of the 16PM forces me to use it more intentionally because I can’t easily use it while walking or doing anything else. If I get a text - 9/10 times it can wait until I’m done.
Should I choose the iPhone 16 Pro or Pro Max, considering I already have a MacBook Air and an iPad? This question had been on my mind for a while, and here’s the conclusion I reached: 1. iPhone 16 Pro: Best for those who rely on a laptop or tablet while on the go. 2. iPhone 16 Pro Max: Great for those who prefer working solely on a single compact device, even if it means sacrificing some laptop-like capabilities.
It looks fantastic. I don’t know how comfortable I’d feel with that “case” outside of the house, though. Looks to literally only cover the very back of the phone.
i like pro max and just got change 13 pro max to 14 pro max recently and i love my phone and no complain about it ! just trying to learn how to use better
Tbh I don’t find the pro max phones that big ..especially after owning and getting used to it for a while as for me it’s starts to feel smaller and smaller in the hand the longer I own one
I was using 11 pro max and got the 16 pro max from first day I knew its bigger and hard to handle after 40 days I switched to 16 pro and happy with it now .
Apple quotes ~6hr less of battery. I notice a much larger difference than that. Pro Max easily lasted nearly two days. Pro uses ~60-80% battery within one day in my use. Neither are a problem because I'm happy to plug my phone in at the end of the day but with the Pro Max I felt like I never had to think about battery at all.
I got the pro because smaller I can attach more when it's caged and easier to rotate in a gimbal, bigger battery doesn't matter when adding accessories since an external battery is needed anyway, but I guess if I could afford a real camera costing 3x or more maybe I might choose the max with larger screen to use as a remote monitor, probably a common perspective idk. I don't even connect my 16 Pro to cellular as it's purely a camera for me, just use Wi-Fi and for mobile an easy to carry older SE I can drop no worries.
I upgraded from a very small iPhone SE (2016) to the iPhone 16 Pro Max and am enjoying the much larger screen and obvious performance upgrades. I certainly do not miss a smaller phone and could never go back to a smaller screen now I have experienced the 16 Pro Max. I did try the smaller 16 Pro but it felt small compared to the MAX and for media consumption (Video etc) the Max was a better viewing experience.
Actually yes Since 2019 I have a Samsung note 9, I can’t go back to use phone which is less than 6.5 inches display 6.8-7.0 inches still very comfortable and enjoyable for me
16 pro max and s24 ultra are best size for people 6.5-7.0 inches still very comfortable P.s. I have both iPhone 16 pm and s24 ultra, feel very enjoyable now
I had to go the other way round. The 16 pro screen size is too small switching from 12 pro max to the smaller one. Switched back to 16 pro max. Happy now.
I think I goes both ways people who have pro max phones for a long time would love to downsize for a gen or so but will go back to pro max 😂, and similarly for people using pro or base iPhone will go to bigger size and will want to go back to the small size. But the battery size is the difference plus u have to get minimum 256 gb and when u upgrade ur storage to that on the pro u are basically at base pro max price which has 256 base
I hate the Camera Control button. It's way too easy for me to accidentally activate the camera. And even if it weren't, the Camera Control button is way too fiddly and awkward to use. It's far quicker for me to use the screen controls to take a picture. This is the most ill-conceived hardware feature that Apple has ever come up with. I should've stuck with the iPhone 15-that was the last great phone from Apple. In future, I will not upgrade to another iPhone until Apple removes this accursed feature.
Having small hands, I have always wished for a shutter button on iPhone when taking selfies with large group of people. I personally love the camera control and that's the main reason I finally upgraded from still working 12 Pro Max to 16 Pro.
Today's phones are getting bigger and bigger. I find this ridiculous. If you need a large screen, then a tablet is what you're looking for. The iPhone max doesn't come close to this size. Most users want a small, convenient-size phone. The largest reasonable screen size is 6.1 inches. I would love an updated iPhone mini today.
Yeah apart from running with it , having it in trouser pocket and using it for extended periods it’s perfect 😂like carrying a brick around with you every day.
I did it, and every time I pick up a max phone I realize how much better the experience on the pro max is. I wish I stayed with the Max.
Couldn’t disagree more. The pro is the better size. I had every big version of the iPhone until the 16 and it’s made my life so much easier.
i feel the same went from a 13pro max to a 16 pro
@@alexpiptomjust because your experience is the opposite doesn’t mean you can invalidate the experience of others.

@ OMG THANK YOU
I hate the Camera Control button.
I bought a 16 pro and battery was sucks and after one day buy a 16 pro max...
Today's phones are getting bigger and bigger. I find this ridiculous.
If you need a large screen, then a tablet is what you're looking for. The iPhone max doesn't come close to this size.
Most users want a small, convenient-size phone. The largest reasonable screen size is 6.1 inches.
I would love an updated iPhone mini today.
wish the se 4 would be less than 6.1
I Never will switch from Max to normal. Alone watching Video more batterylife and bigger screen better Gaming Experience
Its literally the same size as the 15 pro max. Its like 1mm taller. Stop trying to justify the smaller oke by overreacting the pro max size
Why did i do it ? Guess it was the weather
Should I get the iPhone 16 Pro or Pro Max?
I still think the Pro makes more sense. Same features in a more manageable size. Using both, I don't feel like I miss the size of the Pro Max at all.
Thats Erlang!
16 pro almost perfect phone
The pro is a good size for me
Go big or go home!!!
Mnah honestly i prefer the iphone 16 pro max because i am used to large ass phones
Conveniently left out Batter life comparison
16 pro max is better, better experience
Yeah apart from running with it , having it in trouser pocket and using it for extended periods it’s perfect 😂like carrying a brick around with you every day.
@@alexpiptomthat’s why you need to carry man-purse now
