    My parents, 87&84, no meds, 10 pin bowl several times a week, dads in a band, they take care of peoples dogs when they go away, live in their own house, without outside help. My mammy lived to 102.5, and had all her faculties. I want to be like them when I grow up. Presently 61, weight train five days a week, walk my pups two hours everyday, each a meat heavy diet. Think I’m well on my way😊

      Meat heavy diets are contraindicated for longevity. They improve sports performance in the short run, but high protein diets (especially high methionine diets) cause accelerated aging.

    I will be age 84 in May and yesterday evening I began my monthly 4 to 7 day fast. In about 1 hour I will take 1 mg of rapamycin (I can't afford the full dose). mTor is an interesting subject. mTor is the signaling mechanism for protein synthesis. It’s role in growth of muscle is important. The problem is it’s growth properties for everything, including cancer. I wonder if consistent strength training will channel mTor into muscle growth and away from negative tissue growth. It’s a thought.

      @@anonymissed3611 Yes, suppressing MTOR will inhibit muscle protein synthesis. I think that is why the rapamycin is not dosed all the time. .... I would like more clarification on: is resistance work still beneficial when approximately alternated with rapamycin?

    • @MichaelMerritt
      @MichaelMerritt 10 місяців тому +1

      rapa is not dosed all the time because it’ll start surprising mtor2 instead of mtor1. if mtor1 is suppressed long enough. Check out Peter attiya interview with Matt kaberline and David sabatini on it, they go deeep.
      Building muscle and strength training is complex and it will be impaired to an extent temporarily but the tests done on it are done at peak blood levels 2hrs post ingestion, so worse case scenario.
      Rapamycin news forums have some good threads on building muscle while on a rapamycin protocol.

And i have a problem with that, from one point of view i read about promoting protein synthesis and anticatabolic effect of AKG , from other i read about inhibiting of mTOR, isn't it conflicting, can someone understand this , it is possible that inhibition of mTOR can be in some parts and in other i mean muscles when you practice bodybuilding not? , really try to figure out mechanism of working of caAKG

    20:11 which proves that everything had to be designed to work the correct way, instantly, because if things didn't work, everything would have died and no code could be passed on. If something isn't designed to survive, it will die and you will never see it again. This is insane to think that one person didn't have everything it needed with its brain gut and organs but it was able to passcode all by itself to become something that could reproduce. Miss me with this nonsense. Google tells me to imagine the shoulder evolved from the oblique muscle but how in the world would humans have fed themselves without the shoulder muscles so that they had the energy to reproduce and then feed themselves again without shoulder muscles to go out and provide so that child has a chance to grow up and reproduce. It's impossible for something to not work and reproduce if it wasn't designed to work and reproduce at the start

      Explain to me sir how the Lord says he pulled man out of the soil and all of the minerals found in soil are found in each of my cells in my body, but evolution says I came from a fish that somehow developed the ability to breathe on land before it died so that it could pass on code. Honestly if that fish came on land and died, it's dead, and it can't reproduce something that can breathe on land. It died! You people have been sold a lie and everyone is still trying their hardest to validate something that requires blind imagination. I'm sorry, Mike, you got to 👍, I will fast forward so you get a complete view, and you got multiple comments, but I can't listen to this mumbo-jumbo no more

    This music is way too loud and makes it impossible for me to hear him 😟
    Could you please remove the music? 🙏🏻

    Wow I don’t know if it’s certain ethnicity, but my pops os 80 and he literally looks and is like a healthy 40 yr old and agile. And my grandmothers are both almost 100 and bouncing around. This guy look Older and sound’s older than them. Proofs in pudding so I think I’ma gonna stick to what my parents and grandparents are doing. Some is due to our DNA, but the most part is lifestyle and our culture eating style. 🤷🏻‍♀️
