Wow. This guy is a truly underrated guitarist. The way he handles his guitar is astounding, he has so much control over it. His writing manages to sound technical, melodic and brutal all at the same time. Definitely one of the best in this style of music.

I don't think it's possible to write a better metal song. It literally has everything. Atmosphere, technical riffs, sweeps, punishing breakdowns, ATMOSPHERE. There is nothing I would change about this song. NOTHING. THE GOLD STANDARD.

Adam Demicco my good sir. I have blasted everything from Bone Kingdom all the way to Immortal and my god the instrumentation is fucking Superb. Lorna is like an swiss army knife deathcore band. Good with any vocalist lol.

I just showed this to my nephew (almost 4) and my niece. (2) They obviously know nothing about metal, but as soon as the breakdown started, they automatically started head banging simultaneously and I didn't even have to teach them. Way to go Uncle!!!🤘

@@MaggotCZ when you don't have vocals you can turn the guitars up louder. Full mixes usually prioritize vocals and drums and the guitars only get to take center stage during vocal breaks

There should be a high framerate video made to look at how he downpicks. It's like the second downpick has a smaller motion than the first one in the riff at 2:42. And its so fast that using .25/.5 speed doesn't help a lot.

+Lorna Shore Shocked this is a 6-string, always thought you guys used 7's. The range Adam plays at is incredible. You guys can do this with a 6, I would love to see what's possible with a 7.
+Marksman 5147 It's just a 6 string down tuned to drop A, a 7 string tuning.
Anthony Buck Yeah I've heard about that being done before, saw an article about Joe Cocchi from WTR doing that. I don't get the point of not using a 7-string then tho tbh, after some practice can do some more magic.
Marksman 5147 It definitely has a heavier tonality, while a 7 would give a higher range. I personally prefer getting some thick strings and down tuning a 6. Bunch of bands do it.
