The judge himself consented, so technically it was assisted suicide, not murder.
The convict was acquitted of all charges. But what about any charges brought up for the murder that took place in the court room with plenty of witnesses?
It was a dare. If you pick dare you gotta do the dare. If he didnt do the dare they'd probably have told him he was a buzzkill and breaking rules and probably kick him out of the courtroom.
Just pick "Dare" again.
Given the judge consented, you could argue it was an assisted suicide.
