    FIRST! Thanks for the review. My biggest problem with them is how fragile they are. I owned a pair and I had to keep gluing them back together as they broke a number of times.

      Sorry to hear that, Grado build quality can be hit or miss at times

      @@HillReviews They're just not the most abuse friendly designs. The problem is the metal beam they use in the narrow plastic headphone part. It breaks easily on all of their headphones that are made out of plastic.

      I haven't had to do that with any of my headphones thus far. That's disturbing. Then again I tend to baby my gear, and I don't take stuff like my Hifimans
      out in the world too often. I don't beat the hell out of my headphones. But I was told years the Grados weren't built very well. I also question the comfort.
      I'm sure they sound great, though, but for me, it's not a great bargain. Even the new Hifiman HE400SEs are built pretty damned solid, and I got them for $100!
      The Grados though, are a lot more portable than planars. I might buy the 80s or 60s for a commuting pair to beat the heck out of.
