Awesome. I think another key to this ball around good camo is that's you can get it pretty much anywhere. I was hunting northern Alabama and got cold. Climbed out of the tree stand hiked to the truck drove about 45 minutes to a Cabelas and was warm the rest of the hunt without breaking the bank.
Very good point! Availability. I will start making that part of it if I can. I am trying to be random with the camo selection and some might be old or not really available. Next one might be Veil Camo Chaos Rush but it is slim pick'ns I think
I use this camo when I go rucking, and my 2 companions were less than 20 feet away from me and could NOT distinguish me from the soil and mixed trees around us. It performed better than their Multi-cam patterns.
I just found your channel, that particular Camo is awesome! why doesn't the military use that?, you would think they would. man, i needed something good for paintball, and in a hurry i bought some woodland rothco stuff, this episode is making me regret it soo bad now!😂
Strata reminds me a lot of the old O2 Octane pattern. I think it is an effective pattern in the regards to the 2 types of game I hunt (Turkey and deer) as it mimics the woods during Spring green up for Turkey season, but it also breaks up as it really doesn’t have a pattern. I ALMOST went with it when it first came out.
Can you do one of these videos on what works best in the early and late fall/winter seasons in the east/southern U.S.? I’m in the southeast so I need a camo that works best in the southeast for fall/winter.
Some of the backgrounds I used were from the piedmont of NC. Strata did pretty good. It's only weakness was possibly to much green or to much grey in the background it was placed in. It works pretty good where the background is choppy color. So it will depend on your actual hunting environment. Have you tried the camo matrix tool?
@@CamoMatrix I have but I found that you showing your method and your scoring system of poor, ok, good, great was a lot better than what I could come up with
Have you looked at Asio for your tree stand: camomatrix.com/camobasics/asiobasics/ Strata would be Good for the ground unless you are using the tree bases as cover, you could go with a Mossy bottomland orig pattern. Noman carries it: camomatrix.com/camobasics/nomad-gear-basic-set-up/
@@chrisdobbins1209 There is this video: ua-cam.com/video/BAuTZBnzEXk/v-deo.html and it is on the CamoMatrix.com tool. You can see it on the Single and Double Tool. The pants seems to be more brown, I may update the camo image.

Thanks, get me a comment in from the Hunt Shop or the Support page and I will get you in for the $50 gift card
great video, even as a beginner it gives a great idea of the innerworkings that go into producing camo patterns.

It is one of the top patterns and is often affordable.
Stata has worked well for me, im very happy with it! Works great at breaking up your outline and blending in with a woodland/rocky area
It is a great pattern
Great video and looking forward to more Deep Dives!
I already have more ideas to improve the next one! Looks like the next one is Veil Chaos Rush

Strata is a good all around camo. Pretty reasonably priced also.

Yes, after reviewing it like this, I was surprised that my backpack was the only piece I had in it. I don't really need more, but it can still happen.

Do you hunt primarily from a treestand? Still hunt? and are you in pines or hardwoods or field edges?
@@CamoMatrix primarily stand hunting up in pines and hardwood trees. Also stalk hunting on the ground in hardwood bottoms and pine thickets.

Ive been standing 10 foot from 4 deer wearing strata in open small pines with no undergrowth and they didnt see me.
It is a good camo!

A yard costs 350 rupees.
I’m a realtree original guy lol
What is your realtree pattern?
Realtree original is the pattern
You don’t have any images of it on your site
