Hi. Thanks for posting this video. My A-pillar trim is similar to how yours started. Can you elaborate on how you repaired the separation between the two plastic pieces along the length of the trim? I see you used JB Weld, but how did you hold the pieces in place while the epoxy hardened? The shape and length don't facilitate clamping. Also, did you remove the rubber and metal so you were working with just the plastic?
I used cheap clamps from harbor freight it does take some figuring out on how to get it in place perfectly. A lot of trial and error getting the clamps just right. They don’t have to be super perfect as the pillars do allow for a little room for error. After getting it clamped I used jb plastic weld which was actually super strong stuff I recommend buying two tubes. I did leave the rubber and metal in place and just worked around it. Using a small piece of wood or similar object while clamping helps fill the gaps of the clamp. Try and get creative with the clamps and get it in place. Fast drying super glue is an option as well to hold the piece in place before applying jb weld. I hope this helped you.
@@Cirones_garage Thank you! You also mentioned putting paste on the fabricated clips and placing the trim on the car to make sure you drilled the holes in the right spot. Can you expand on that a bit too, and how well it worked?
Nice work
I'm saving this video for my son
He has a 350
Saw his pillar yesterday
It's cracked
Awesome I hope this video helps you
Amazing ingenuity
Thank you I try to be creative when I make these kinds of repairs. It might not be perfect but it usually gets the job done.

did you remove the fender to put back the pillar or u kept the fender on and just snapped it back into place?
I kept the fender on and gently slid it into the clip before snapping everything together
