supreme has been relevant to its core audience since its inception, you can make an argument that Tyler had some play in bringing it out in the mainstream and then hypebeasts took it from there. the owners obviously saw growing popularity and capitalized on that to make bank. even if it fades back into obscurity it will always be something relevant for as long as skate culture exists
If u skated back then u will know supreme has been relevant for a long time, thats cuz u guys look at supreme as a clothing brand not a skate brand
And skaters are the reason Supreme even exists to begin with. 🤷🏻♂️
Jim Jones and Juelz wore that way back in the early 00's when Dipset was popping they're the ones that brought Supreme out then everyone else started to wear it and rode the wave

I’m so proud of Tyler and how far he’s come. I still remember listening to Bastard and Goblin my junior year of high school back in 2011 and people would talk trash about me listening Tyler saying he’s irrelevant or would fall off in year. To those people I say “Eat it! 🖕🏾” I’m glad to see him make such waves throughout his music career and in fashion over the years.

Dam, kind of the same thing happened to me. I used to watch people all wearing the same clothes so I decided to start wearing ‘retro- lookin’ clothes cuz since the age of 12 (I’m 17 now) I been liking the vintage things, then when everyone started wearing vintages 90’s, 80’s etc kind of clothing I started wearing like Its said on the vid the antithesis of contemporary fashion and just experimenting with my personality and tastes. I stoped wearing jeans and usual clothes and started to wear dressing pants and my grandpa’s button ups, that kind of clothing.
