All mint marks😢 pre 90 where hand punch by the mint employee. Machine doubling did not happen until the 90's I just looked up started and 1989 was the last year of hand punched.
I really enjoy how in depth you go into looking for the varieties/errors. No scope for me so I keep it basic. On the last one... 83D. There's some convincing marks that it's doubling like you say but agree that it's actually deteriorating dies. The waviness/rough edges to it helps seal it for me. Great vid GA. You really gotta find a bank with a coin machine. So much easier. :)
I had banks with coin machines my first 2 years. Then they got rid of them all. I have a couple credit unions around me that have them, but they seemed really grumpy when I told them I was a collector and returned a lot of change. Thanks for the feedback and thoughts on the 83D!
I had a two box penny hunt yesterday. Haven't finished scoping everything yet but so far I have a pretty bad grease strike, a 2015 DDO, and 71 wheat pennies, one of which was one I was missing (1941-S Small S.) Also recently bought a 1700 year old Roman coin that just arrived in the mail.
@@GASilverHunter Had a box with 93 a month or two ago. Averaging 21.4 per box with the 93-wheat box. If you take it out, my average is 17.5 per box so far this year.
Very good hunt!! SILVER!! Thank you!!
Thanks!

Keep an eye out for a 2016 D ddr, second (first tall) window from the left in the memorial. I may have found two finally.
Awesome
Awesome video nice nickel hunt congratulations on finding 2 silver war nickels and other finds thanks for sharing GA silver hunter
1943-P also has a doubled eye variety. It's hard to see on a worn coin.😊
Where all the 2009 coins low mintage
All 2009s were fairly low mintage, other than small dollars, but surprisingly 2010-2012 were often lower mintage than 2009 for quarters.
Recession caused mint to pull back on production.

Just added the 2023-P DDR to my list of stuff to look for. Thanks for the super detailed look at it!
Glad I could help

Nice. 71 wheats out of 2 boxes is nuts.

Are the 2015 DDO’s rare or valuable?
@@barrymaness5814 They're not super valuable. Most of the ones selling on ebay are in the $4 to $8 range.
