I was happy to see you talk about long draw(butterfly) with thin bands. I have been shooting 9.5 lead with .5 snipersling for hunting. Anyway, thanks for reviewing these, I've been curious about them!
Must agree only really tried the accelerate pre tied so far 20/12 on. 8 mm i to found them heavy on the draw Mind you my collar bone and shoulder might not be. Helping on that regard 👍💥
Thank you mark. I scrolled through all your videos about jinpu band and see you prefer .45. To be honest, I like the way you try all kinds of bands and experiment with them. I bought a universal taper ruler because I want to see which taper suits me. Like you said, one should not shoot using more than .50 band. Cheers bro. Can’t wait for your next video. 😊
There may be a better working option but I do this so they can be compared with the other bands. Usually when I shoot I use 22-12. It is slower but I find I have better accuracy.
I often try different tapers. But for 8mm steel I have found to be the fastest. Really when shooting the shooter will have to do some experimenting. If you like speed or light draw you will make your bands really differently.
How do you define best? That's the problem. I am thinking about putting something together........just not sure I am ready for the heat that will come from it. Lol
I have heard they are good. I am a little burnt out of band tests at the moment. I will check them out but I just need to get a few shooting videos under my belt.
@@ATOMark I just finished watching your review on the Silinxiate 😄 probably going to get that one as I don't really like the draw on the Jinpu 0.5 ... too heavy for my taste.
I have been playing with and test the .40 and .45. I’m preferring the .45. I did also just start my own UA-cam channel that I have a video using the .40.
@@ATOMark with you speed stats of the .5, I now have an idea what the .45 is doing. I shoot 9/32(7.5mm) or 5/16(8mm) mainly for ammo, and 3/4-full butterfly. So I know I’m in the high 290s to 300fps.
That's a tuff one to answer. I don't have any experience with .6 snipersling. .5 black the fastest speeds I ever reached was 328fps with 8mm steel if I remember correctly. Keep in mind My draw is 76.2cm so if your draw is shorter or longer, live in a colder or warmer environment your speeds will be different. I have a review on .5 black. The taper I used was 24-12 the bands were maxed out at my draw length.
Mark I always enjoy your testing on different bands. I know that any frame will work if it fits your anchor point. I have been using the same frame that my older brother cut from a mesquite tree for me 72 years ago zi also own 2 newer frames one is the Oculares that I shoot TTF but for target shooting I try different bands on my old home made frame
I find it curious that you think that .5 latex is not up to the task of shooting 9.5 steel. I have been using GZK both orange and green, SimpleShot and yellow Snipersling .5 and find that I get more than adequate power. I thought that it worked " OK" when I used a short draw the power level jumped much a lot when I learned to shoot an extended draw. I went from a 33 inch draw to 42-45 inch. I don't find any clear cut guidelines for matching ammo to band thickness. What are your thoughts?
Actually .45 and .5 are my go-to band for both 8 and 9.5mm steel. There are some recommended guidelines from precise. It is easily found online. In my opinion, they are only starting points, and there needs to be some experimenting by the shooter. With some of the bands I have tested, 9.5 steel does just fine with .5 bands, but some are a little weak. Target shooting is not a problem for either size, but for hunting, I would recommend heavier bands if you shoot short draw. Long draw is not a problem at all. There are a lot of experts out there, but really, in the end, there is not a one size fits all band set up. It really requires a some testing to find the setup that works for you.
@@ATOMark I have not used any of the Precise Brand bands and I am not sure that their data would be relevant with some of the other brands. The numbers of different brands of bands is just plain unbelievable and almost every shooter on youtube uses band material in a different way. I have experimented a lot and done well with most of it has been and it is fun but having some guidelines would make the process clearer. I think at this stage I think I should stick with my SimpleShot, Snipersling, and Sumieki and not chase every new brand down another rabbit hole.
Ya bro times are tuff. Lol I've been eating lawn clippings. This inflation is getting the better of me. Lol na I tend to eat more fresh food this time of year. I went and bought a few cans of peas to solve this problem. The collection begins.
One word Awesome!!!! Just awesome, enjoyed the video need to give these bands a try.
They do shoot well man. They are a little heavy for the speed but still shoot well and if you pace yourself fatigue won't be an issue.
I was happy to see you talk about long draw(butterfly) with thin bands. I have been shooting 9.5 lead with .5 snipersling for hunting. Anyway, thanks for reviewing these, I've been curious about them!
Ya man butterfly is a whole different animal.
I have ordered 5 days ago. Can't wait!! Great review
Cheers bro. Im glad you liked the vid
I just got a bit of 4.5 in from a friend so I’ll be excited to see how they feel. Keep up the good work brother! 👊
Hey brother bro are you doing? I like the .45 still have nice speed with lighter draw. Let me know how you like them
Do you recommend the .65 caliber jinpu league and what cuts would you use it with?
Good accuracy and good review.
Thanks man.
Well done Mark love your videos
Thanks my friend.

They do shoot well. But just a little heavy for the speed in my opinion
Nice job!
Thanks man
Hi Mark. I saw some of your comments saying that .45 is better than .50. So, I decide to buy it.
I prefer the .45 jinpu. Find it has a better draw.

Do You try any other dimensions (than 24-12) with new bands trying to find better working option ?
There may be a better working option but I do this so they can be compared with the other bands. Usually when I shoot I use 22-12. It is slower but I find I have better accuracy.
I often try different tapers. But for 8mm steel I have found to be the fastest. Really when shooting the shooter will have to do some experimenting. If you like speed or light draw you will make your bands really differently.
You need to get a summary vid going of all the bands you have tested and give a best of type thing.
How do you define best? That's the problem. I am thinking about putting something together........just not sure I am ready for the heat that will come from it. Lol
Hi mark great video as always and if you want some serious bands check out the new .85 Red Shot bands from Wayne at Catty Shack
I have heard they are good. I am a little burnt out of band tests at the moment. I will check them out but I just need to get a few shooting videos under my belt.
Hi mate
Recently came across your channel pleased i did 👍🏼
I'm glad you found me man. I hope you will stick around.
Love these
Thanks man.
Thank you I'll text that number asap I'm excited I've watched since you started
Don't its a scammer
Cheers think i will stick with my Snipersling cheers
Lighter draw and more speed. With yellow and similar draw with way more speed with black.
@@ATOMark Cheers will remember that one Pal
they are heavy for 0.5 😬 what do you think compared to the Silinxiate of the same thickness? thanks for the review 👍
Ya I find they are. They still shoot nice but I think here are better draw to speed options out there.

I’m going to be working on a video showing the ammo drop off today of four different bands.
With full butter you are probably faster than that depending on how you tune your bands.
What’s the fastest taper for snipersling .6 yellow and .5 black short draw.

Yea sorry it was for 8mil steels
Would a 24-12 be faster than say a 18/13 taper
Ya I think so
I seen this on Amazon and was curious....thanks
Really on Amazon I'll check that out.
