I heard that you will be live tonight. I will try and hop on.
Cool I'll see you then
That did it - thank you. My release hand was balled up and as hard as a rock. I started doing your three-finger salute and bang bang bag, I'm hitting the target with every shot, Liked and subscribed. Thanks again.
Great video guys, I hope you're finger heals quickly Mark. 👍
Thanks man. This one will take a while. I did a good job. Lol. I managed to get my other 2 slingshots finished without an index finger today. They look great
Thank you !
Where did you get those? I need some! 😂
What would be the strongest band for most damage possible ? Im pretty strong and tall so maybe a thiker band would be better for me ? I ordered 1mm and 2 mm but pretty sure the 2mm will be not usable. Whats the opinion of the pros? Ammo would be the normal steel balls or rocks
Hi Dear friend! I want to ask a small question, maybe it's not very important but everything has a reason, a connection to the events / the desired result, which affects everything. So when you buy a ready-made slingshot band with leather or some other material, it will be applied to the steel ball. One side is maybe stickier or brushed leather and the other is a little more slippery. QUESTION: Which side is recommended for fingers and steel ball???
Great video 👍 im using 70mm fork now suit my hand size 😅 with short pull & same anchor point with u.. but still learning & practice with long range target.. more than 10 meter quite hard..
I found the view of your room (and the sounds of you looking for things) to be a bit humorous. The reason, I live in an 8X10 shed so it is a bit crowded in here also. Take care and enjoy your videos
At what yardage are you “dead on?” You will have to aim higher for longer shots! Thanks, Ron
Yes indeed. In that case you split your target with your fork tip, but the technique remains the same.
My goodness you look like my twin. 😮
@ATOMark very interesting video. I'm just getting started so lot of questions. You mentioned several times "longevity" As inexpensive as band material is, I fail to see the harm if a set of bands only last a day. Please explain. Thanks fot taking thevtime to share your knowledge with your videos.
The point I am trying to make is we are all in different financial places. Some people prioritize longevity to performance. Personally I lean more twards performance. But if I get 300 shots out of a band set that's good enough for me. I have tried some bands that I couldn't reach 200 and some times had random snaps at 50 shots. I can shoot 300+ shots in a shooting session. So a band set that can get me through a shooting session is more favorable than one that breaks in the middle of a session.
@ATOMark thank you for the explanation. I've only been at this for a couple months. I have a tin of scrap leather and other items I'm making different patches with and exercise band to make by bands and I've a $8: investment in a frame and 500 3/8 ball bearings so I'm just trying different things to see what I like but in no way worried about how quickly something may wear our
Incredible shot!
I'm just trying to figure out how to adjust the tubes on a slingshot that is already in use. one is farther than the other and will not move to equalize the length.
Great explanation...Ta!
Yea but the stretch,is And you d exponentially compounded by each centameter
Great video. Just found your channel. My outdoor channel is Snaponjohn100
BEAUTY FRAME !!
I got a small frame Titan Hunter from Chris and I love it. I'm currently able to hit a 2.5" spinner at 33yrds. Thanks for the video buddy.
Wow man that's great shooting.

Thats a proof that accuracy comes with time. Good to find such a pro when they were starting. I started ollowing you probably in 2023 and ive never watched old stuff but iit came around on my main page
Ya man. Its just work. I think the biggest thing that helped me was the quest for accuracy series I did not long after this video. It made a huge difference.
@@ATOMark I'll check it out later for sure
Great video Mark as always. ❤
Wow! Do you know if there is a way to get simpleshot bands from somewhere else thant their website in Canada? Their shipping fees are keeping me from ordering them.
It's good stuff but that's why I don't order from them. Simpleshot only sells them as far as I know.
Ay, before I waste my time on another bs tutorial, does this dude use a ruler or that stupid tool every other tutorial puts you through?
Well I won't waste my time answering your question. Just move on to the next youtuber that wastes their time helping out viewers that don't appreciate the time they spend trying to help you guys out.
@ATOMark Oh the irony. At least you got to hear your own voice I guess. No worries on that answer, found a tiktok video that knew beginners wouldn't have special stuff on hand. Even mentioned in which direction to tie, and optional pouch orientation if shooting ttf or ott. Got me and my nephew shooting where yours would have us wait on deliveries.
Really helpful trying to stay on anchor point
I've watched your video twice and still struggle with your unit measurements? It seems you are using both British and Metric units? Please clarify - 1- 24 to 12 taper- is that 12 mm tapering up to 24 mm. 2- 8 mil steel- I'm assuming you are talking about the steel balls? 3- How thick is the best overall slingshot latex? 4- How long are the latex straps? 4- You don't like the Theraband Gold latex. What should we be using? In summary, if you assume your audience is slingshot brain dead, it would help. A simple sketch with measurements would make a lot of sense in any design video. If you had links for your favourite materials, it would help your viewers and you might make a small profit on these recommendations. I hope you can see this as constructive suggestions. Thanks for this information Brain Dead Garson
Hi bro. 1: 24mm at the fork 12mm at the pouch 2: 8mm steel ammo (5/16)same 3: you really have to match the ammo to your bands. .4 -.6 for 8mm. .60-8 for 9.5steel, .70 and up for 11mm. All this depends on tapers too and purpose for shooting
4: i have a great video on this. You need to cut your bands to your draw length. A roll is usually 2m 5: today most brands are far superior to theraband. The brands i like are omega slings, snipersling, gongchi white, south wales cattys, I have a video called who to make slingshots the ultimate guide it will explain this in detail.
This is the video. ua-cam.com/video/YuwLw1FVtVc/v-deo.html
Lovely frames mate
Confused about draw weight. I shoot heavy longbows. Used to be in the 70-80lbs range, at full draw, but I am slipping with age. 14 sounds very light, but other than archery, I don't think I am anything other than average strength, and that was before I got old. Obviously there is a lot more leverage against the wrist with a sling, just wondering what people regard as heavy? There must be other guys who crossover from archery.
I crossed over from archery too. There is a big difference in the hold. I was a 3 under guy. Pinching a ball with your thumb and forefinger is different. The low end draw weight 6.5lbs. high end 24lbs. The big difference is shot quantity. Usually you would shoot 7- 10 shots a minute. The biggest thing is the grip.
Andri definitely kills it. Both my Cygnus and my Cygnus Bold From Primefork Catapults are perfection. My Jackal from Tim Hemry@CoyoteCustoms is unbelievable! His roundover work is 2nd to none.
Good afternoon brother
I ordered one way before Christmas and it's still not here
If you live in Canada that's because of the post strike. Our orders arrived quick.
@ATOMark I live in Newnan Georgia. Just about 20 miles south of Atlanta.
Do you still use steers wild slings catcher?
Yup i have 2 of them and use them both
Looks amazing!
Very nice set up
Thanks man
I'll check them out
Using wasp 17/12 on 8 m steel looking for a band that will be good for 8 light enough that don’t fatigue to quick come down from 20/15 with 8.5 Need light draw but want to go to back to 20/15 ??
I have a beagle v2 it beats my ergo Wendigo almost love as much a spitfire
I prefer the beagle v1 to v2 but both are great slingshots. The Spitfire is great too. I need to try a wendigo ergo.
