Excellent video, Ken. While the Amazon piece was excellent, the listing of all of the various companies in the Orlando area was even more intriguing. As you mentioned, plenty of opportunities in multiple areas of the economy. Well done!
I actually left Amazon as controls technician a few months ago to pursue a controls engineer role with another company. Overall working at a Amazon warehouse was an interesting experience, especially being on night shift. Amazon had great Healthcare, a lot of education benefis, and just a lot of resources in general. The only thing is if you are a salaried warehouse employee it is difficult to have a worklife balance, they demand quite a bit. I also remember them constantly having the warehouse workers working mandatory overtime a lot. But hey this is just my personal experience, it really works for some people!
Love this insight into all the other job opportunities beyond those within the hospitality industry! Would love to work in one of those warehouses for a day!
I can not use 4 gift Amazon cards of which are $100.00 each and 4 of them are defected how can I get replace of exchange a Razor card fir the amount of the 4 Amazon cards of $400.00
Very insulting to tell people to work in a low paying warehouse job. She said this facility is 5 years old Where are the professional jobs that require a college education? If Ken worked at Amazon, he could not buy his Star War toys that sit on his shelf behind him on his podcast shows.
@@magicparkmemories I’d rather clean duck sh*t at magic kingdom than work at Amazon lol Ken seems like a nice guy but saying an Amazon warehouse is an amenity is just to funny
I wish u would have done a review about Amazon distribution center in Brevard County. They have (2) brand new distribution centers (Cocoa/Melbourne) that have been vacant for over 6 months. Don’t believe everything u hear about that company!!!
Please know that Amazon has a very hight turnover employee rate due to the major stress they impose on their employees regarding the rate they have to produce. It’s not as good as this video portrays. This is why their turnover rate is one of the worst in the industry! It is true they provide benefits day one and at some facilities the pay is good, but it come with major mental and physical aspects that can be quite a problem for the workers! For the mental games they impose on their workers and expectations the workers deserve much better pay!!!
Great video Ken! I own an IT staffing and recruiting firm. We are always looking to hire and assist local companies with their hiring. If we can help any of your viewers, clients or job seekers, I'd love to connect.
Tbh I’m just trying to be Orlando’s ambassador. I love it here and want to see it thrive. I’m sure I’ll get business in the meantime. We do help 50-60 clients a month find home in Orlando.
Or, and here me out here, I’m trying to change the perception of what Orlando in that there’s a lot more here than theme parks. In hopes to attract more people and more jobs.
My dream job is help families buy homes in central Florida. Unfortunately I’m stuck at my job 16 years in can not change careers too far deep in maybe one day. 😂

It would be interesting to compare "how much home" can someone "afford" with those jobs (like the warehouse)
That's a good question, but another thing to consider is that someone working here may be part of a dual income family.
Great question!
@@Mr.Matt.Hutchinson i completely agree
They also have the opportunity to invest in stocks. I know many he used theirs to get nice cars, luxury apartments etc.
the biggest industry second to theme parks and hospitality is military contracting
Perfect timing, I’m looking for a job. Thank you!
Great insight video Ken! Wouldn’t really expect these many jobs in Orlando.

This is awesome! Thanks for sharing Ken!
What a cool video! I’ve always wondered what it looked like in the warehouse!
Great video Ken! Made me want to move to Orlando! See you at next KWW!

LOL you never heard of ghost job listings??
That's real smart Ken. Get more people in the area. Increases your opportunity to get new clients. That's what we Realtors do. 😊
