    Great work Luka. Have you built other steam bent shells or just this 8" tom ? Did you make all the jigs / bending machines and moulds, etc, yourself ?

      @@SoundsToBlowYourMind Thanks. Yes I've made also a 14 snare and floor tom. And yes I made all the jigs by myself, the lahte also...
      I haven't done anything for about a year now.. Other projects..
      But i want to do something more soon.. Bye

    I’d be really interested to see more of that steam box. What do you do for taller(deeper) toms?

      Hi, the steam box is very simple. A wooden box, i have an induction kitchen heater, than a simple kitchen pot with a 2" hole in a lid and a plastic tube connected to the box. The most important is that the hole for steam is big enough to get as much steam as possible to the box. And also i have a thermometer at the end of the steam box, so that i'm sure i have at least 95-97°C in the box.
      I think that most of the manufaturers makes deeper shells out of two pieces glued together.

      Hi, thank you! The motor is 3-phase 750 watt with gear reduction.

      @@lukacibej4866 Nice! I work with these types of motors. I was thinking this was a hydraulic setup.
