The tricky part is aligning the blades, but the video doesn’t show a clear technique for doing it. thew flip-over is too fast. It’s hard to see how to align the blades and determine the distance between the blades :(
@@hammercolacosta4395 alot of these new clippers come with an adjuster unfortunately these dont and its a slow process of zero gapping them, everyone has a preference and if you do them to close you can damage the clients skin because of the sharpness, but hopefully in any way this helps.. and what are your favorite clippers
After replacing my blade on my Magic Clips, I notice a space of about 1/3 of an inch between the blade and where the black piece says KEEP BLADES OILED. The blade doesn’t quite touch and I put the replacement blade on in the same order you put yours on. Is that 1/3 inch spacing normal? Or what do you think could be issue if it’s not? They still cut good but I was just wondering.
@@rafaeljohnson7316 if it doesn’t sound different or the performance dosnt change it’s nothing really to be concerned about , usually new blades come in different sizes , just gotta clean it more so hair and oil dont damage the inside
Are those the same magic clips from 10 months ago? The logo already wore away? I just got the same ones and I find the staggered blade pulled hair so I swapped to a standard cutting blade. Did you have the same issue? Thx in advance.
Great eye ! And yes it is.. thats the main reason why these blades should be changed.. also both blades work great the one u have is slightly curved but its not as sharp but works just as good ,this blade that it comes with has to be zero gap precisely or it will pull even its new… once the blades are changed your clippers last for a long time almost practically a new Clipper..
@@8THRU5Official Thanks for the response. I actually zero gapped them but it seemed like it still pulled. Are you referring to the standard blade as being slightly curved? Maybe my hair is really thick, idk. Keep these vids going 👍
@@barberpost1016 Haha, yea based on what I've read from other reviews, it seems a few people find that it pulls hair as well but Inwasnt sure if they zero gapped them or not but it still did after I did so idk. It just seems like a waste for me when I see others say it cuts like butter lol
@@kleancut2100 im reffering to the standard cutting blade you replaced it with.. the one that comes with it very sharp and when you adjust it slightly let it over lap that way it wont pull.. dont zero gap them like a t edger..and no worries thank u
Do you think putting senior cutting blade on the magic clip would be better ? I have mine sitting here as I’ve put the ceramic blade on the senior so I thought I’d maybe put the senior cutting blade on the magic clip, do you think it’ll be a big difference ?
Use a screw driver that fits snugg becareful by not stripping the screw happens alot because of the oil thats in there… try to blow it with a air can or even clean it with a qtip with alcohol

I replaced the wahl original blade with the 2191 Precision Fade blade in case you were wondering the blade.
