Thank you so much for this!!! I took mine apart and the spring came out, I was freaking out worried they were done for, this is the only video I could find showing me how to put it back in correctly!
Thank you for the video! I was at work and I was going to quick adjust them but figured I could clean them and when I took the blade of the spring went flying off. Your video helped a lot. The brown piece on mine didn’t stay put like yours though so I just held it down and put the other blade on top. It works perfectly fine now.
man i have been on here for hours trying to figure out to get this pin thing back in, i aint lying.... i have the knockoff chj 908 but same design and they have no videos addressing that issue... syncronization
Thanks for the video bro. I was struggling with the spring like 30minutes trying to figure out how to put it back properly. I've searched the other videos by other UA-camrs. But so far I didn't find any of them show how to place the spring. Thanks a lot.
Same, i figured out everything but the spring part because I accident popped it out before knowing where it went. look at 10:40 for anyone who forgot how
I have 2 of these. I have coarse Asian Hair and fade my hair tight to the skin. But with the staggered tooth blade it puts vertical lines on my hair. I changed my other magic clips blades to a taper blade and it's all good . Might throw on my senior blades to replace the staggered tooth ones. Corderless seniors lol and that even out in the U.S yet. The magic clips are amazing. Thanks for the vid.
Yoooo...don't do half the shit he does...you don't have to pry anything apart...the chrome piece on front use ur thumb press in an push up....how u gonna forget the bottom screws if u do maintenance every 2 or 3 days??? Again don't pry anything apart it all comes off by hand After u remove the screws
I suggest using lithium grease on electrical switches instead of oil . It has a higher viscosity and will not break down as quickly. A small amount goes a long way!

Very helpful tutorial, BTW my question is about my new magic clip, so I notice there is a movement on the upper blade(cutting blade) every time I turn it on or off the cutting blade is a little on the left side or right side, it doesn't stay in the center since my old clippers are not like that, do you think is that normal or should I change it?
Its normal it stops were ever the blade is when you turn off the clippers some time the blade will be to the right or left even the center depending on when you turn off the clipper
is the plastic peace that sits over the spring supposed to shoot off into the air when you remove it? because I gotta duck n cover each time I go to clean my clippers
Is the metal piece that goes up and down, suppose to be under the black clip that snaps in or is the black clip suppose to rest on top of the metal piece?
I have a pair of seniors they look the same when taking off the blades etc.when I put them back together they don’t cut.is there a way of putting the black plastic piece that the smaller blade fits on A certain way. Cheers
I have some brand new straight out of the box, cordless magic clips. I took the blades off to replace with a ceramic blade now they won't turn back on. Do you have a remedy?
Try taking off the blade and all the little pieces as well then try to turn them on if it doesn't turn on then it might be a issue with the switch or the battery might be no good but that is a slight possibility since you just took them out the box
Hey man thanks for putting this video up. Helped alot. One problem I'm having is the brown plastic piece keeps popping out every time I try and screw the lever back on. Any idea why this is happening? Pretty frustrating because I feel like I've tried everything.
Check to see if the housing of the clipper is not broken. The part were the lever is at make sure that its not cracked or stressed from the lever itself
AzNwacko how you doing brother sorry I just seeing your comment to do that to make sure that the screw is back in position for when you tighten it. You might have to use like a small Flathead to kind of keep the the nut half in place while tightening and once you tighten it should catch and it should tighten up from there
no worries i fixed the issue, i had to re-order the washer, that helps screw the lever in tight, its a silver washer that you slide into the back part of the clipper.
Do you know what’s the name of that Small plastic that holds the blade? Mine broke and I don’t know where to get it from or what is called. Thank you so much
Jolie Mendoza check on eBay with Harley Barber Supply they might carry it. I don't know the name but it could be call the blade holder or the moving blade holder I'm not sure
@@MrXxtoshixx what helps if you place spring one the clipper them place the brown part on the cutting blade line up the Rotary motor to the center of the Brown bees then hold the blade from the sides then place fade blade on top using the top and back remove fingers that's holding the cutting blade place screw on the fade blade then the other then from there it should be good to let go but dont tighten all the way. This give you time to let go off the cutting blade and be able to adjust the fade blade as you please then once you find the sweet spot tighten up the screws then you should be golden
Alexis Zarate can you dm a picture of the brown part to my Instagram. if so the IG name is @joefade_ I just want to check if it's broken or cracked in a place that maybe it's not catching when your placing it back on the clipper
Mitch 81 another way to do it is if you put the cutting blade on the brown piece and then attach it back to the spring you'll be able to use your thumb and your index finger to hold it down theb place in the fade blade on top and then from there you'll put your screw on and then you'll be able to move your fingers and adjust the fade blade to the needed zero-gap then at that moment the brown piece will no longer pop off since the fade blade will be holding it
The piece that you our on top of the spring keeps popping out, will not stay in place, and when I use the level for open to close it will not stay under the bridge.
Yani Mendoza I might be able to help do you have Instagram if so send me a picture of your clipper with the prob so I can get an idea of ways going on with it. and I'll try to help you with the best of knowledge IG: joefade_
11:46 bro you said it would fly out mine flew out and now when I try to put it back it it wont stay the spring pushes it out and it dosnt stay without me holding on to it
Okay put the spring on, then brown part on cutting blade then line up the rotor to the center of the brown part(holding the side of the cutting blade with your thumb and index finger) place the fade blade on top( holding with thumb on the bottom of blade and index finger on top on the teeth part of the fasde blade) release your thumb and index from cutting blade. Now place one screw on your fade blade then place the other line up your blade then tighten that should fix your problem
