As far as i'm aware those were killed as they tried to stop the soldiers from killing the patients like how Anya's parents were killed in their attempt to stop the people they cared for from being executed and if i was to hazard a guess they were told not to actually kill the staff but rather incapacitate them but ended up going too far...Thing about this game though is that the soldiers themselves see people in insane asylums AND their carers as sub human so if they have to kill them as well even if they weren't ordered to do so they'd STILL do it to get their "orders" completed.

To anyone wondering why he still had muscle mass, it’s because of physical therapy. It’s like an artificial workout to trick your body into thinking you still need the muscle mass. Same thing my dad had after he got into a really bad motorcycle accident

I always had an issue with the Germans speaking English so much, until my dad pointed out that it’s very likely that BJ fights and infiltrates them so much that he can just clearly understand them. Even if his own German is garbage

His hate of the Nazi’s literally pulled him back from paralysis.. in the game each gun shot makes the screen flare red.. he’s basically the Doom Slayer

Unconscious for 2 or so months: Have to sit in a wheelchair, paralyzed without the use of a Da’at Yichud power suit.

4:40 I I don't know if anyone else noticed, but even after god knows how long BJ has been docile, he still knows where to properly stab at the neck, since there's a major artery on the right side of the neck. Honestly, just wanted to point that out because it was a neat little detail in this game that i personally loved due to it being scaringly accurate
This game was good. Phenomenal actually. The new one sucked so fucking hard it was unreal. Biggest waste of money and hard drive space ever. New order was one of the last masterpiece shooters ever made. The kind that was worked on by people that knew what good design really is.

Physical therapy. they use electrodes to massage the muscles on coma patients to keep them looking semi healthy. Basically the shocks trick your brain into thinking that you still need the muscle so it doesn't use it for energy
I always wonder how conversation between doctor and nurse looks like for English speaking person because in Polish it sounds super-ridiculous and fake - like no one really talks like that!
they could have did this scene so much better. Him being immobile in the chair would have devastated his body, he should have been Anemic, skin and bones looking and extremely weak. It would have made the scenes so much better, overcoming his utter weakness to stab a nazi in the neck, or firing a gun.
@Jeremiah Hargrave Adrenaline isn't going to make someone who hasn't moved from a chair in years suddenly fit and young and muscular again. In as little as 6 months of immobility an Athlete can be reduced to nothing needing weeks of physical therapy to move properly again, and then years of training to get back on top of their game after that.

Rangers are Airborne qualified, so he was most likely attached to an Airborne unit in the battle
