My friend is an Everton supporter. For the last three seasons, he has been predicting that Everton would be relegated. With the points deduction, he was certain that this would be the year. I, a City fan (since 1967), have assured him every season that it wasn't going to happen. Everton couldn't afford to go down. They had good players. All they needed was a change of attitude. Sean Dyche has given them that, I think. Players who have underperformed for years finally showed what they could do under pressure, helped by some good new talent.
When the new stadium opens, I think it will give the team another psychological boost. Everton has historically been one of the biggest teams in English football. This stadium might help them to regain that status.

Hi mate, thanks, yeah I think the change in attitude come from the points deductions also sort of a sense of injustice at the severity of the first deduction
