It's pretty early for it so there's probably a couple. One time I couldn't find it on the network but a reboot solved it. For me, the key was that it never had a hiccup once it actually started streaming. But that was in like 6 or 7 tests. I'm sure it will get better and better, too, as they iron out some of the kinks.
I find it difficult to use the network bonding .. I am in ghana and I am able to connect with the teradek vidiu app but can’t seem to get the video feed on the share link for bonding to happen .. any help . I have the vidiu x
@@JustinReves they told me to reset and log out from the UI after that log back in .. but stil l I have to you a paid VPN before being able to access the network bonding feature
Hello, are u reading comments ? I want just ask can i use this for streaming call of duty to twitch tv ? how is this on fast motion videos ? Thanks you
Sent mine back full of bugs and the main features connecting multiple phones for extra bandwidth bonding, has not even been made yet. They don't tell you this when buying it. I gave it a good shot but spent more time rebooting it and rebooting the app than using it.
I think I'm discovering the same thing - did Teradek confirm that? I just emailed their support. It seems wifi only works in client mode, but I bought it for the access mode (using multiple phones) too! So frustrating.
@@CarlSMiller When I was on online chat the showed me a picture of what button to press and I told them I didn’t have that screen, she went and spoke to the tech guys and they said that screen is not on mine as the phone connection firmware has not been made yet! I have streaming jobs so I needed something reliable, I have bought the LiveU solo it works very reliably.
@@CarlSMiller it’s €45 a month for unlimited bonding so about £35 in uk that’s what put me off, but when you look at teradek if you don’t do the monthly they charge £2 a GB of data so only doing a couple of events a month that’s up to the LiveU cost. You can bond 24 hours a day for that
Man this is a most expensive mistake i ever made, this product totaly useless is laggy on 60 fps, stream quality is very pixeled its getting after 30 min stream is soo hot you cant touch it, you cant use 3.5 input as microfon input with same time hdmi audio, there is to manny missing features this was a my first teradek product.i was using magewell ultra stream. when i comparing vidiu x and ultra stream, i musst say magewell ultrastream is totaly killer device with hardware ,software and price.
My review unit comes in Thursday. Supper curious to see how well it works. Keep hearing folks mentioning it being a bit buggy.

Weirdly, I don't think they support Twitch right now which is odd.
@@JustinReves its support rtmp ?
@@fearless_tr Yeah it does RTMP. Motion is smoooooth. 1080p/60fps should be good.

@@ScottDavey What's the cost of the monthly bonding feature of the LiveU? I remember that being a reason I passed on it a while ago I think.

Worse design, keep away if your a serious broadcaster
I don’t think a $699 streaming box is targeted at serious broadcasters.
