If the advisor was honest to Ghorst

Ghorst made the Advisor rethink his whole life
0:56 it was that moment he felt true fear 😨
If you want to play as fantasy Transylvania, go with Vlad, Isabella or Mannfred. If you want to play the quintessential necromancer, go with Ghorst. No hammer and anvil, just an inexorable, constantly pushing tide of Romero movie extras.
What about Kemmler?
@@kofola9145 Kemmler is a ghost guy
Vlad and Isabella are good as one man armies with 4 other Vampires helping, their groups can destroy whole armies on their own together especially with Pits of Shades and tons of Bats and Vargheists helping taking out anything range.
@@kofola9145 No one cares about evil Gandalf.
Vlad's voicelines are goated
If Ghrost can become a legendary lord. It would surely be nice have Constant Drachenfels, the Great Enchanter who is both a daemonologist and a necromancer. I mean imagine being able to use both demons and zombies as a vampire faction but everyone hate you.
Wait, is that the guy who lived in Castle Drachenfels from Vermintide 2? Gotta do some readin on ye olde chap.
If Ghrost can become a legendary lord, or Cylostra can be made up from scratch, every named character can become one at this point. Felix is also just a dude whose acoompanying Gotrek. Like... I dont think he is any good in combat, maybe against some skaven or goblins.
@@VanHold yes
The Blackstone Post has Drachenfels library as a landmark. If I remember correctly in the Realm of Chaos map there is the actual castle as a settlement in the Grey Mountains.
@@Grivehn Felix has a bunch of books about him and tabletop rules and a model. He's not exactly in the some nobody.
Ghorst has anime protagonist levels of plot armor now.
The real kicker about ghorst and his zombies. His buffs are FACTION WIDE SKILL TREE BUFFS.
So what youre saying is you only need to confed Ghorst, not to play as him.
@Grivehn to my knowledge yes, that should work.
@@Grivehn No, his starting buffs are non conferedable since he wont be your faction leader. He will not make your zombies have 30+ armor and immunity to contact effects. But other skills in his skill tree yellow ones will.
@@Mr2Helios +30 armour and immunity to combat effects are basically nothing compared to his skill tree buffs
only counting his factionwide buffs from his skill tree
+12 melee attack for zombies (ok, this one is admittedly meh)
+10% ward save for zombies
+500% battle healing cap for zombies
+50% weapon strength for zombies
melee regen for zombies
sure, 30 armour is nice in the early game, but the moment you're regularly facing elite armour piercing units it's basically a non-factor
@@Eclipsed_Embers Did you read what I wrote or was it too complicated?
Wait is that real? Can his zombies really take out those ogres? Dang.
His buffs are amazing for zombies. Definitely a fun campaign for when you get pissed or had a bad day. A tad overpowered against AI.
It's crazy powerful. Ward save, physical resistance, the hunger, melee stats and one of the most important: a crazy amount of healing pool extension. Ghorst can heal his zombies till the End of Times.
Playing as Greasus, he's basically the second biggest threat if you don't wipe him out quick. Ghorst is a legit threat that demands you to actually pay attention otherwise he'll grind you down.
Worse thing is that with his nerfs, before that, it if was between Grimgor or him, I pick Grimgor since I can actually kill the former.
lets say that his zombies can go toe to toe with ironbrakers or hammereres and win
There’s a reason CA has listed under Known Issues: Ku’gath has a rough start. Most of it’s just very uncomfortable. Helman Ghorst makes it impossible if you don’t get lucky by the time you have to deal with him.
I actually played as ghorst, i was allys with Tretch, Every single Cathay faction, and even almost became allys with queek, i wiped out the Von Carsteins, The Dragon Knight elfs, Greasus and several other ogres, the Slayer King and even a few chaos dwarfs, but once Cathay betrayed me i kinda fell apart, Ghorst is good as hell though.
My current playthrough is almost an exact mirror of yours...except Cathay hasn't betrayed me. Yet.
I'll keep an ear to the ground to make sure they don't try and pull a sneaky on me!
A couple weeks ago, I played a Ghorst Campaign and I gathered vassals as if I was creating a menagerie. Tried to catch one of every type. I kept Franz and Gelt as my pets. Thorgrim somehow got along with Azhag and Snikch under my undead rule (but the two unreliable ones of this trio betrayed my friendship and found themselves curbstomped as punishment for their treachery). Tiqtaq'to and Aranessa followed me, but hated it. Lokhir Felheart was bigtime friends with Ghorst.
You know what's a great combo? Zombie Spam Army with Crane Gunners for ranged sniping power.
You wiped out Imrik!?
Miao Ying want to thank you for your service!
@@ZetsubouGintama yeah but i guess killing of dwarfs and Von Carstein caused some issue
@@AnimeRyker2001 If you have an alliance with them, you can build an outpost in one of their settlements. The units you can recruit depend on your outpost level, alliance points and the technology available to the ally. (Also counts for vassals)
My man Ghorst showing up all the other "Legendary" Lords. Just 'cos he’s a footnote doesn't stop him from curbstomping everyone else into the afterlife.
Who knew that those little buffs after like 3 games of micro buffs would eventually make the lad a absolute beast
ANOTHER W FOR THE CARAVAN OF BLUE ROSES
While we're in the area I think it would be worth paying Imrik a visit. He is after all one of the biggest memes since Cathay became a thing, even more so now that he's a stone's throw away from them.
Seconded. Imrik is a pretty unique campaign these days, especially with the addition of Chorfs. You only *need* to ally Cathay, could just absolutely obliterate everyone else if you choose to. His faction is great against Tomb Kings with all the fire attacks as well as shooting down Ogres, and if you so choose to attack all Dwarfs for being even more arrogant than Imrik, you can do that, too.
DRAGONS!
@@Grivehn I normally play as the Ogres and very much enjoy the gunpowder weapons they bring to the table so hearing you talk about shooting them down feels absolutely alien to me. Does the ai ever use much ranged or artillery or does it just spam ogre bulls?
@@Dayz3O6 DRAGONSDRAGONSDRAGONSDRAGONS
@@thomasdracup8403 I was talking about elven archers, really. They outrange ogre shooting, and have easier time hitting large targets due to how models work, too. Elves also have a bunch of spears, including Lothern Sea Guards, so... yeah, I do think they just counter Ogres in campaign essentially. AI can get some fat stacks, but normally they dont reach the endgame units unless you let them from what Ive seen.
Ghorst has the potential to get pretty scary if hes allowed to grow.
Great advisor vid!
The advisor was constantly disappointed, so much so that he genuinely baffled when a faction "is good now."
Playing Astrogoth. Ambushed Ghorst. Killed Ghorst. Ghorst came back. Killed Ghorst again. Ghorst came back.
Eventually, the mounting attrition forced Astrogoth to retreat. Let that sink in. _He forced Astrogoth to retreat._
These videos keep getting better and better! They're so good that I wish they were longer.
Though I'm bummed out that we didn't get a more established Necromancer character as a LL instead of Ghorst (like Dieter Helsnicht, who is a Necromancer from Middenland who rides a big yellow Manticore, and then becomes a Mortarch in the End Times), but the fact that we can get characters who were only mentioned in the lore as LLs means that there's still hope for some more obscure entries (like Constant Drachenfels, a.k.a. the Nameless, who has his own book and later back as another Mortarch in the End Times).
I love playing as Ghorst mostly because I find it extremely hilarious to win impossible battles very comfortably with nothing but trash units like zombies and skeletons
Adviser: Ghorst? Are you good now?
*gun pin lock sound
Necromancer larpers: Always has been!
for awhile in warhammer 2 ghorst was super strong in multiplayer
Gonna be real I didn't know who Ghorst was until this video
He ant wrong but that is why my boy has been on that Giga Chad grind set hard a.f to get where he is now
These zombies had more than a lifetime to get buisy, man.
I hope the Cubicle 7 fantasy rpg can one day use Ghorst and make him become a trully unique character now that he actually has interesting gameplay
Fun fact: Ghorst was also one of the earliest characters created in warhammer fantasy, being a villian in one of the early prewritten campaigns back when Warhammer fantasy was played more like DnD.
I have never conquered the old world faster than I did with this guy.
I love how there's a completely Japanese war cry when China is shown.
It says a lot about the state of the Vampire Counts in game 3 when Ghorst is easily the most interesting, and best LL in the faction. P funny tbh.
LOL
Keep bringing more videos like these 😂
the best part of Ghorst was when he said 'IT'S GHORSTIN' TIME' and ghorsted all over those guys
I was waiting for someone to say this 😂
DUDE!!! Konrad is a fkin monster! I have read the Konrad Saga dozens of times. Ferring is such a good author
It´s insane that Ghorst can heal every single unit of Zombies for over *one million* HP per battle and buff them until they are basicly elite units with more Defense than most undead knights.
Ghorst’s whole schtick is to turn the Walking Dead zombies of Warhammer into the cracked out zombies of World War Z
not going to lie... I love playing as ghrost. I love zombies.
"are you good now?" while cyberpunk 2077 music is playing
everyone knows ghorst is one of the most powerful doods in the whole game when you can have his skill tree decked out at max level his zombie buffs and other abilities will make zombies near unkillable in a battle against a good portion of the factions, only thing the zombie buffed hoards are weak against is numerous and heavy fire of anti infantry weapon units like flamethrowers or machine gun fire
i saw my friend lose 3.6k zombies in one fight and still win.
Ghorst is a fucking Legend and a monster.
Nice. Hey whenever you do the Dwarves, go easy on them please. They've been through a lot of short comings. You know man? 😂
SHORT?!?
@@KrimzonFlygon1 There will be no alliance.
@@BleadDAnger lmao!
I still can't believe Ghorst got to be a legendary lord while Kroak and Ariel are just legendary heroes.
Honestly I love games where you can buff trash units in high numbers. Because +5 damage sounds like shit on a single unit that normally does 2,000 but +5 on 500 trash units that normally do 1 damage is a fucking nightmare to fight against.
I'd love for Konrad von Carstein to be some sort of legendary hero. Not sure he would really work as a lord
Ghorst is the epitome of "Throw enough shit at the wall and some of it will stick" then adds "Now throw more and watch the shit pile make nurgle rage with jealousy".
I see you're a fellow Ghorst Head
I was just about to question if the advisor knew of the current Ghorst... then he discovered that there are no brakes on the Ghorst pain train (aka a corpse cart with zombies chugging monster)
Ghorst being a thing while we still don't have Neferata or Zacharias the Everliving will always feel weird. That being said, his campaign is super fun.
Anyone that played as nurgle has probably been traumatised by ghorst.
Ghorst is they guy you underestimate till his super umbrella corp roided up zombies turn a Doomstack into a crippling defeat.
ghorst actually became a 'legendary' lord in warhammer 3 lol
We need more positive lord interactions, give the advisor someone he likes for the love of Sigmar
The Mortis Engine is the reason to buy that dlc, so true 😂
The best moment was when he said, "Im gonna ghorst!" and then ghorsted all over the place
truly one of the necromancers of all time
Ghorst: [Dance Thriller with his minions to troll Advisor]
I'm not good at this game.
I'm just to stubborn to die.
Chaddest necromancer of them all. XD
do you guys remember when ghorst faction effect was an increase the charge bonus of his corpse carts? I remember. that was funny
Zombies with regular vampire counts are action/comedy film undeads.
Ghost's zombies are zombie apocalypse films zombies.
It's Ghorstin time
0:47 "So he banished you to China !"
*Screams in kabuki meme*
"And you're still confusing Japan with China. You. A 3 bijillion year-old man. Is there no bound to your uselessness, Ghorst?"
The obama era made me 😂
It's kind of funny ironic and stupid but yes his zombies are actually good but they're not the greatest. For the vampire Coast it's still just barely get a whole bunch of necromancers and just spam vampire and death Magic but his zombies are decent enough to actually take on some mid-tier units.
But I still do not compare to the Warlock weapon engineer TEAM YES YES!~ sling palpable of stone on the zombie hordes and KILL KILL them all! And one we're done also drop a nuke on them as well.
Yes I know the weapon engineer team doomstack is a very cheese tactic but come on it just works
My recent chaos dwarf campaign, I marched a relatively strong army of chaos dwarf warriors mixed with blunderbusses against helman ghorst, he showed up with a grave guard stack and I wiped the floor with him with ease, he then revived, retreated and got a full stack of zombies, came back and absolutely demolished me. My blunderbuss units did around 40-60k damage each but they all have less than 100 kills...
Ghorst is truly terrifying, and his zombies even more so. And grom thought he was the king of shit stacking.
Minimal Lore, Maximum Gore; it's GHORSTING TIME
yep he is good now
Chadman Ghorst
Ghorst started off 'meh' but with time and the right points into the right skills, he can make zombies stand toe-to-toe with fucking plaguebearers. Really the only thing holding him back is the same thing that's holding all of the Vampire Counts back, the faction mechanics themselves are just 'meh'.
Ghorst might not be the absolute strongest with an individual army, but he is EASILY the best bang for your buck per army of any lord in the game.
Haven't playe Ghorst since release. Is he still bugged to have zombies with 30000% heal cap?
The reason I bought the DLC was for the knights of the blazing sun, from back in warhammer age of reckoning MMO times 😅
The thing is, I'm glad the crappy Lords got added first, because all the good lords would have been bad if they were done with the shoestring budget it seemed CA had for DLC back in the day.
I was as surprised as the Advisor when I played Ghorst and drowned the world in an unstoppable zombie apocalypse.
Bars! I be watching the ads, commenting, liking, subscribing, and maybe even ringing that mf bell
His Ghorst the GOAT. Also who knew Manfred was holding him back!
i got wh3. Played greasous cause big boy needs some ogres! Thought, oh vampire counts, with justa shitstack easy land i guess.
Got my ass handed to me on a zombie scull that day
The only thing that makes the Chaos Dwarf campaigns anything like a challenge is how annoying Grimgor and Ghorst can be. He has sure come a long way from being a lord most players had forgotten existed.
Ghorst is a good lord to fight with, but by god its irritating to play as nurgle against em!
like come on...
i wanted to play ku'gath in immortal empire once and i had 4 vampire armies and ghorsts near me...
It took how long, 8 years and 3 games? But my money spent is finally worth it. I love happy ending stories. And we made good meme along the way.
Konrad was buttfucking insane I think we're pretty good without him for now, but as a dlc idea hmm
Firelink Shrine soundtrack in the beginning ❤ of course the topic is an undead lord
I really didn't think too much about ghorst either... Then okoii happened
Ghorst always has been good. Like he has better faction traits then manfrid in games 1 and 2 and in both it takes like 5 turns to unite slyvania and get the big boldy c......
He buff zombies too much. And they fixed a bug where there was not healing cap for them
Ye...thiz Ghrost scary me and my boyz...just a littel..but scary.
The biggest problem with Ghost is how shit he is in auto resolve, you have to fight everything, because your armies are just shit zombies.
Can you make nakai itself it would be very funny if nakai keeps wandering while advisor if following and roasting nakai
"Are you good now?"
"Always have been."
Unlike the others, Ghorst never got angry, never threatened to silence him or even counter him
He let his actions speak for themselves and scare the shut out of The Advisor
Imagen saying zombies being a good unit, and not joking xD
I cant stop laughting!
Cyberzombies 2077, Ghorst put into then some nice chrome.
Fear the might of Chadman Ghorst, the only reason that he doesn't have lore is because none of his enemies survived to tell about him.
I've always enjoyed playing GHorst.
“Wake the fuck up advisor, we got dragons to burn”
man i would love to do this, if only 3.0 wouldn't crash all the god damn time
When will you be making Greatswords great again?
Honestly I am surprised that we cannot just relegate him to a lord you can just hire or a hero in the other vamp armies.
Ghost campaign in wh2 where u get him and manfred kinda slapppped
Please do throgg next! i love him in lore but in game hes kinda stupid af
there used to be a bug that made it so the zombies would never run out of healing under ghorst in total war warhammer3
He's still boring tho
hell boring, but most people thinks overpower = cool.
Everyone is laughing st ghost - until the zombies start hitting things.
I hate Ghorst so much. So over powered. Killing him is the first thing I do in every game. Well assuming I am... Imrik, Drazhoath, Greasus, Zhao Ming, or Ku'gath. Odds are he still wins.
Fighting him as Kugath SUCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS only way i found that works is rushing him while ignoring the lizardmen since if you set yourself up right and autoresolve against the lizards they will end up taking themselves out then you autoresolve against Ghorst since its his only weakness
Notice: The Advisor never said he was leaving.
