Al I can say is WOW. This is something I've wanted to do since I was a little kid but always thought it was something only a movie studio could do. Very well done!
Thank you very much Master. They are great tips for making not only Kaijus Costumes, but also for creating other monsters with which to make even low-budget productions. I hope that all this evil that surrounds us ends one day and I can put them into practice. A cordial greeting.
Thank you so much for showing this. My friends and I have been discussing on what to do in order to make a Godzilla suit. We discussed on using techniques that Tsubaraya used or other monster maker masters. This will help us get started, the new difficulty now is making a working jaw
this video is good cause i've been wanting to make a suit. i haven't figured out how to make it but this video makes it more easy i have not watched it fully but i will watch it with great care
When making my godzilla suit I found that hot glue is a good budget option for sticking things together, it’s been able to handle some pretty crazing things like Dancing and dog attacks.
Wow man, seriously informative and inspiring and I'm not even into cosplay. Was just curious how kaiju suits are made. I hope to see more of these. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
With enough support I will be able to make an official episode 1!! ^o^
Thanks for this video. It was an IMMENSE help in finishing my Godzilla suit for Kitsune Kon 2023. I made a video of it on my channel. Without this video I would not have had the confidence that this would work. Thanks again, you're a master.
If you don’t have a Godzilla figure you can make a small clay sculpture to make a pattern, i found on the internet some vests that have pockets where you can fit small silicone bags field with cold water, if you make your suit so the torso isn’t tight to your body you can use one of these to cool down a bit, it’s also advised that you wear a spandex suit underneath so it can capture your sweat, so it doesn’t get on the suit, another way to make the scales is to draw them on the suit, than use a hot tool like a soldering iron to sculpt them, than cover it in spray glue, witch not only seal the foam, but it also allows you to glue down the edges of the scales, giving them rounded edges, than cover with latex tinted with your desired base color and some toilet paper, the paper helps to smooth the details, you can now paint the suit with more of that tinted latex, add a bit of black paint to the latex to make the color darker, than paint the lower areas of the texture with a brush to make a small shadow, than add white paint to the latex to lighten the color and lightly stipple it on the raised areas of the texture with a sponge or a scrap piece of foam to add some highlights.
Please do more of this! I love it!
He’s Back!
Back Agaiinnnn 💙
I was thinking in the future I’d do a Varan suit, and this definitely made me more confident! Thank you for the great content and you’ve got a new sub
Nice! Varan is one of my favorite kaiju!
So glad to see you uploading again, and with an awesome video to boot!
Wanted to come back with a bang. 💙
I don’t know if you’re interested in answering this or not, but could you add details in the head tutorial about how to make the mouth move? Thanks.
If I get enough support on my Patreon it will be much easier to pull off these tutorials a lot quicker. ☺️💙
I am absolutely making a MogeGoji suit now.
Hoping to have it done in time for Gen Con.
Congrats on the build. Welcome to my kaiju creation playlist.
Miss you friend! This is a stunning video!
Likewise Don!! 💙 Thank you so much!!
Great tutorial, swell stuff you got here.
Thank youu!! 💙🙏
Wow!!!
^o^
This video is so helpful, the only things I need to know now is the head and the dorsal plates
I'm currently at work at building a 1955 Anguirus suit. I was having some trouble deciding what to use for the skin textures, but I think I may have an idea. Thanks!
Yay! 🖤
:D 💙
Will the legend ever return
I’m planning on making a gigan or minilla suit this video will surely help me!
Thanks wanting to make a 1973 godzilla suit
I really love the 2014 costume
This is awesome
Thank you, now i actually know how i might be able to make a kaiju suit
Good video and thanks
What a cool content
Thankuu! ^o^
Have you seen Fernando Reanimated he has MechaGodzilla 2021 suit😮 I think a collaboration is in need?!!
It would be nice if on ur Etsy shop you gave ALL the instructions.
Please elaborate. Cause the images on my Etsy do provide simple steps that are already mentioned in this video, not to mention the youtube link is in the descriptions as well.
This is for Showa 1954 one DOES NOT INCLUDE PATTERNS FOR:
Patterns for Head, Hands, Feet, or Tail details
Amazing Tutorial! Thanks! Subbed!
i think you should do a 2019 suit that spines glow
I'd buy that if it were for sale
self reference
printed - 10:35
figure - 8:20
cutout - 9:00
I like to think that the little piece you finished would be like one lost tiny scale of Godzilla
I'm getting into the final stages of my costume, probably a month before it's done. How does the tail fare when dragging? Does it need extra layers of latex? would HD-70 foam be better? or is the latex good enough for it to not scrape or wear off? I will end up walking on side walks outdoor, indoor carpets, but on smooth tiles which arent any problem.
Starting my Kaiju build for my 2024 cosplay project. Couple of questions, first how do you deal with visibility/lack thereof, second how do you handle with the heat? Is it easily taken off for breaks? I'm looking to do millennium era Godzilla, REALLY wanna do shin but thats very complex right now... Any other tips for beginners?
wonderlik
Any plans on making a template for any of the heisei Era? Specifically Godzilla vs. Destoroyah... I want to make a meltdown suit but can't bring myself to putting a box cutter close to my figure lol
Heisei and Millenia Godzillas are probably most I sought after, will you be making and selling the patterns for those?
What is the program that you're using to scale up the files again? Anyways, great build. Hoping to one day build my own Godzilla suit.
Will you ever do a video on how to make the mask for the suit?
Yo how do you make the tail though?
May you tell me how to may a more flexible suit
About the stretch fabric how much will I need? The articulation will probably only be needed in the arms and legs and in small portions
(Im planning to use patterning technique however the suit will be taken off the same way u take off a shirt pants a helmet and shoes)
Just out of curiosity: how do you see out of the suit without making obvious eyeholes in the neck
“I have to go do this right no-“ *remembers that I’m a 14 year old with no money and no experience*
Just go for it. I remember when I was around 13 years old making Stormtrooper armor out of cardboard boxes. Honestly trying to make stuff when I was younger and had no experience was some of the most fun I've had in this hobby.
What happened with the 2014 godzilla costume?
How do they make modeled virus that are destructible
May I use some of your footage
Quick question. Do you need to use liquid latex for your costume? Or Can i just make detail myself?
UA-cam closed and saved my position at 3 seconds
Do you have any alternatives for liquid latex? I keep reading elmers glue or liquid rubber mighr work (the rubber is used like liquid flex seal)
Apologies for the late reply! For my current KiryuGoji suit, I used Creature Cast Neoprene. it's more costly BUT it's far more resistant to the elements. Elmers glue would just deteriorate quicker especially with a large scale suit that'll take a beating.
Is there an ETA on the nezt episode?
Por favor, libera essas metragem
I have a question how did you resize it to proper size to print cause in your vid it looked like there was a huge sheet printed out for some patterns. Did you have to go to a special printing place to get them printed that big or what?
i have a question, in the patterns you sell in etsy include the tail? or only the body area?
Hi! it would be great if you can answer my question. If i buy your pattern on etsy how can i print the pattern out to be scaled to like my height which is 6'0
For sure!! just requires a bit of rescaling via Inkscape
or the printer settings, When you do, print the arms first as they’re the quickest and smallest to test out. It requires a lot of experimentation. Hope that helps! 💙
@ProjNautilusCos Hey it's me again! I've went out to buy so many supplies for making a g14 suit with your pattern! I just had 1 question, what can I do to print out the patterns? maybe like what kind of size paper to use when printing?
Is it hot inside the suit?
Hey Sean do you Think about ever making a 1964 suit pattern?
It’s up on Etsy! 🥰💙
@@ProjNautilusCos wonderful!!
14:14 what is this songsname?
I tried shazam, Google, youtube, searching godzilla theme as electronic, rock, and nothing no results
How did you make/get the undersuit?
Song?
where can we buy the foam
I want to be the first one who makes a custom kong costume because normal people at g-fest just buy the costume instead of making it so why not be the first one to actually make a custom kong costume?
How do you make a mold?
Im guessing i cant pay you to make me a suit?
cant hear shit
