nice look, but first mud puddle you hit is gonna get you one of those old school racing stripes. the bikers i hung around as a kid in the fifties used to make fun of each other for making their fenders too short. so you're in some good company. it is a nice look though...........oh yeah, get some mufflers on those pipes, my dude. v-twins need back pressure like the flowers need rain. --old dude.

I noticed that your fender is really close to you tire. How did you get around it not rubbing your tire when you hit bumps due to spring compression?

Since you dropped the rear fender so close to the tire and kept shocks not struts, does your rear tire hit the fender at all?

30 mins to remove the seat? cuts through the fender support with the fender on. At 2:50 he fully removes bolts, that plastic peice slides off when the bolts are loose.

    • @jovi___

Next year project i think bud, so far this year i've lowered it by an inch, changed to Drag Bars, Roland Sands 2-1 exhaust, belly pan, New flush mount gas cap, Screaming Eagle Air Filter, Power vision and mapping and wrapped the exhaust. Still want the fender chop and new seat and maybe move the speedo. Love my bike :-)

Nice and simple fender chop... makes it look easy :) I am gonna do mine soon too.
I thought the stock shocks on iron 883 was 13"? I replaced my stock with some black Stubby 11.75" shocks and the bike dropped 2 inches. Did not hear any scraping so far and lovin the low ride. The bottom clearance is affected though and that means more scraping :(

Dude awesome job but I've got a question. The fender is attached in the same place it was before but the gap with the wheel is like 1cm. I don't understand how the suspension is going to work after it. Like is it not going to touch the the wheel now?
The wheel needs space right? Is the fender going up with the wheel now? And if it is, how you did it?

    • @TheAlienBeard
