Dam bro your a true badass full of talent my man! Now I want to do my iron like that ! Dam !!!! It looks so hot night and day difference . Mine is a 2016 and I have made it nice and quick . About 85 hp now and I really want to chop the rear . Thank for the inspiration my friend . Be safe.
nice look, but first mud puddle you hit is gonna get you one of those old school racing stripes. the bikers i hung around as a kid in the fifties used to make fun of each other for making their fenders too short. so you're in some good company. it is a nice look though...........oh yeah, get some mufflers on those pipes, my dude. v-twins need back pressure like the flowers need rain. --old dude.
30 mins to remove the seat? cuts through the fender support with the fender on. At 2:50 he fully removes bolts, that plastic peice slides off when the bolts are loose.
Motovlogger, Bike Mechanic, Electrician....Damn bro. What can't you do? lol I was actually nervous watching this, but it looks like it came out pretty good. Nice job!
BxPolymath lol is all thanks to UA-cam vids:D I was super nervous as well, the paint that I bought doesn't even match and it made me so angry! but other than that it turned out okay!
@@TheAlienBeard Hi there. May I ask, how many inches did you measure from the end of the fender to your cut line? Also, how did you know how to cut your angles on the fender? ANy other info would be helpful as well. Thanks
NICE Dude...so this was few years ago and i imagine you been riding it SO does it throw crap all over you?? i see that happens alot so im trying to figure where to cut mine at...Thanks Man
Next year project i think bud, so far this year i've lowered it by an inch, changed to Drag Bars, Roland Sands 2-1 exhaust, belly pan, New flush mount gas cap, Screaming Eagle Air Filter, Power vision and mapping and wrapped the exhaust. Still want the fender chop and new seat and maybe move the speedo. Love my bike :-)
I saw you using your helmet while grinding and I though " what a genius" .... then I saw you using a dremel with no protection at all and changed my mind.... but seriously, nice job on the bike... but you know, you can't ride if you are blind. ... just saying
Nice and simple fender chop... makes it look easy :) I am gonna do mine soon too. I thought the stock shocks on iron 883 was 13"? I replaced my stock with some black Stubby 11.75" shocks and the bike dropped 2 inches. Did not hear any scraping so far and lovin the low ride. The bottom clearance is affected though and that means more scraping :(
Dude awesome job but I've got a question. The fender is attached in the same place it was before but the gap with the wheel is like 1cm. I don't understand how the suspension is going to work after it. Like is it not going to touch the the wheel now? The wheel needs space right? Is the fender going up with the wheel now? And if it is, how you did it?
It really does drastically change the way it looks! I like it! I'll send you the rolling shots that I got of you the other day. (And your rear brake slide, or should I say skid) Lol. Maybe you can find some use for the footage.
congrats on not having a girl ride it (guy in your case) and having the paint look like crap at 7:48. Let me guess, you can buff that out? That paint you will never get that out.
Man u took a perfectly good looking bike and made it even COOLERER LOOKING. Looks nice and clean too.
glad to see a young guy (i presume a millennial) not only riding a Harley but also working on it...
It's hard to watch with that club music... made me want to sell my bike
Redwood Penguin Club Its called turned the volume off.....like I did. Lol
Rofl 😂😂
LOL xD
hahaha fuck thats crackup
music is totally non-HD

Multi use motorcycle helmet, love it
What makes a person go “ yeah that be a good song for this video”
After chopping it off can you still install a backseat for a back passenger.
#Help
Hello, good work!
What paint did you use for the fender?
Thank you
Nice job
How did you run or hide the rear turn signal cables? Good job.
Great job !!! Bike looks sick...

looks much better man well done
Thank you!
I noticed that your fender is really close to you tire. How did you get around it not rubbing your tire when you hit bumps due to spring compression?
You did all the work yourself? Thats awesome man hell yeah!
I did nearly the same to my '86 FXR a few years back. I love the bobber look. Well done, man, well done. Keep it up.
Me too! Thank you! More vids to come.
Since you dropped the rear fender so close to the tire and kept shocks not struts, does your rear tire hit the fender at all?
what tail lights did you use after you did the chop??? i'm trying to do this to my Iron over the winter!
What kind of primer and paint do you use?
Very nice. That’s on my mod list for 2019 Harley 48.
I'm not really into the bobber style look, but I do have to say that you did a hell of a job there
TxGamer13 why thank you:)
Looks great, do you remember what type of seat you used, I'm trying to find a good solo one for 883
thank you
Well done, brush off the nitpickers. I appreciate you showing the finished look.
30 mins to remove the seat? cuts through the fender support with the fender on. At 2:50 he fully removes bolts, that plastic peice slides off when the bolts are loose.
He cut through the fender spoort and the cover over it only on one side. Fuck everything about this video.
Sorry, I know this is an old video, but I have a question. Did you reattach the fender and the lighting through the same hole in the strut?
Damn bro, that was scary to watch - super nice job! That turned out great!! 👌
Thank you man.. it was even scarier doing it!

Ok Ur a lucky dude .... wow. That blade ! so close so many times !
NICE Dude...so this was few years ago and i imagine you been riding it SO does it throw crap all over you?? i see that happens alot so im trying to figure where to cut mine at...Thanks Man

So now your rear brake light are the blinkers ?
Yes they are, they work fine except my ground wire came off of the left side.

Where can I get that seat?
What kind of touch up paint did you use?
Nicholas Ayala I tried buying some touch up paint from Amazon but all denim paint fades differently so it didn't match:/
The helmet got me 🤣
Great video. I couldn't see, but do you still have a light on the plate?
I use my helmet while grinding too haha
We're the holes you drilled to make the fender sit lower?
Nice and simple fender chop... makes it look easy :) I am gonna do mine soon too.

Joshy George thank you man! I think I had the superlow so mine were 11"s I think!
Welcome Benjamin :)
Whats the name of that seat?
Joshy George mustang solo seat!
Where did you buy the seat brackets?
did you cut the frame on the sides..?..so if you want to buy a new fender and put it back to stock..can you??
damn fine job my Man. love how it turned out.
Roadhand Viking thank you!
Is the reason you are doing rewiring is simply because of the length? Or were there other reasons requiring you to do so?
what if it rains if fenders like that bro
Dude awesome job but I've got a question. The fender is attached in the same place it was before but the gap with the wheel is like 1cm. I don't understand how the suspension is going to work after it. Like is it not going to touch the the wheel now?
The wheel needs space right? Is the fender going up with the wheel now? And if it is, how you did it?
Gonzalo Simon the only thing that happened is the fender got tilted up in the rear so I had to get longer shocks for the bike! thanks for the comment!
awesome job, I love it!
nice job bro keep it up
damn that is looking good.
What seat is that
dangit! i've watched 3 of your videos and i already want an 883
Rebel Rider - Chris why thank you man! it's an awesome bike
I just want to know why you're using a Masonry cutting disc cutting steel
So basically you cant re install the fender?
what kind of lights are those?
j garde t'as vidéo dans un coin pour quand j'achèterai la mienne 👌
Je vous remercie!
Did your sister pick the music?
When you were struggling on the drilling the pilot hole, I am thinking to myself he must not know they're wood drill bits (aka not used for metal).
Or a punch at minimum.
What seat is that?
Lost me when it took you a half hour to unbolt a quick release rack and remove a seat 😳
tyee4u lol I'm just testing your patients
what Seat is this? link
what's the intro song that is like 10 seconds long?
What is this seat??

🔥
There was a cut you made that you didn't show on your video huh
yeah, i thought he did a nice job chopping that fender
That's a diamond stone and concrete cutter on the grinder, not a metal cutting disc. In flip flops.
All that plus the music... Can't continue
