In Skyrim the crappiest house costs 5,000, so with just a thousand left over to stock your store that's not a great start. But I wouldn't expect someone who mocks a great man from the safety of his computer to understand that.
Surprisingly, one of my BEST builds was using a character already in skyrim: Aventus Arentino. It was fun because when you kill Grelod and revisit the orphanage he says "you came to visit! When I grow up, I'm going to be an assassin so I can help people. Just like you!" Or something like that and I thought, why hasn't anyone made a mission DLC of Aventus all grown up and honing his skills?! Anyway, I built him and used the alternate start mod. Most fun I've had in the game.
FAT JAXSON Another really good mod alternate start mod for role playing like that is Skyrim Unbound. If you don't already use it, I recommend it. It really lets you customize your start. You can even play as non dragonborn

@@MrYabber jeez dude you're late to this video! Thanks for bringing me back here tho, even that old intro gives me such nostalgia now and I didn't even realise 🥺
Always avoided mage classes, just recently started a conjurer, and now I’m hooked, decided to blend it with a sneak/illusion build, don’t think Iv had to use a single weapon to do anything but the intro.. atronachs for dayssss.
With the Ignite spell, when you dual-cast, it actually does slightly more than double damage, because of how dual-casting works. Dual-casting spells makes them 10% more powerful for 40% more magicka, so dual-casting gives 220% total power for 280% magicka. Example: the base Flames spell has a base damage of 8/second and a base cost of 14 magicka/second. Dual-casting will overcharge it to 8*2.2=17.6/second, but at 14*2.8=39.2 magicka/second. So the Ignite spell with Augmented Flames and Aspect of Terror does 21 DPS over 15 seconds, and dual-casting makes that 46.2 DPS, equaling 693 damage over 15 seconds.
I did a magicless mage type build once. While I possessed great magical; I didn't have the affinty to cast a spell. I relied on trainers, and staves; meaning I mastered Enchanting relatively quickly in the grand scheme of it. When I found the Ring of Arcana, I was finally able to cast spells; only the Ignite, and Freeze spells though. It was a fun little build.
I made the Necromancer build, and I gotta say, I love having 2 Dremora Dead Thralls. They have funny dialogue like "Look, im destroying you". I also love how I can use them as my personal pack mules to carry heavy armor I plan to sell or enchant. These 2 Thralls are more than enough for me especially when you can give them enchanted Ebony Greatsword and Ebony Bows with 30 Health Absorbtion, they just wont die in legendary difficulty.
did you know that one of the hermeus mora book perks from dragonborn is glitched ? its the one that temporarily gives you infinite magika . you can cast the master spell lightning storm. and hold down the trigger after using the perk and have an infinite beam of death until everything is dead.
That is a fairly simple build. I use play a class similar to that but I had restoration in my off hand. If you are looking for and OP sword, grab windshear, ESO did a video about that sword, it staggers enemies, even dragons.
Other thing, the restoration skill that increases your spells of 50% (correction 25%) on undead also works on you if you are a vampire. It will increase all the buffs, summons, skills, mana reductions, damage, sneak bonus etc etc.. that you get by leveling up and even the enchantments of the items you equip. So you can have 75% bonus damage with the skill tree and 37,5% with Azidal's for a total of 112,5% bonus fire damage instead of 75%. You just need to have the skill before becoming an undead (I think) and all the "spells" you got before hand won't be increased, only those after you activated the combo will. If you become human again or reset the restoration skill tree, you will keep the 50% bonus on what you already got but won't get it for the next things you get.
Just put Paralyze in one hand and Ignite in the other with the Az ring and mask on and go to town: paralyze enemy and then melt them while they are stiff as a board. 😃😃😃
Another thing that's good with the ignite spell is Fus meditation power you get from Paarthunax. Using this and impact it will stagger your enemies almost everytime. With this spell and how fast it casts. Your enemy won't have a chance to do shit.

Hey. It's actually important to note that the Aspect of Terror exploit doesn't always work the same. For whatever reason, when I started my mage character in the special edition, I had to take the FIRST rank of Augmented Flames, THEN Aspect of Terror, and THEN the second rank of Augmented Flames to get the full +15 damage effect. So I guess what I'm saying is that you should save up three perks before you do this, save the game, and experiment with which order to take the perks in. I wasted somewhere around 6 hours of game time because I assumed that taking two ranks first was still the way to do it.

You can add what ever other things you like but that’s how I role played and felt optimal damage for legendary difficulty. Hope this helps XD. LONG LIVE SKYRIM!!!!!
ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides, Thank you for the information, I was trying to figure out how to get further into the tomb so the excavation could continue. The info about the rings rocks! Take care and have a great week!
Pretty impressive (for magic in Skyrim), but Oblivion's weakness to magic/element stacking loop was almost without limit in how much damage you could deal as long as you could keep stacking those weaknesses in sequence and had enough magicka to continue long enough to do the final fire/frost/magic damage spell. It was a lot more difficult to pull off in battle given you're always fighting the timer for this stacking but that was the most raw damage dealing thing I ever heard of in either Obilvion or Skyrim (vanilla w/no cheats).
That necromancer build, with all those undead soldiers, it reminds me of the manhwa "Solo Leveling" (adaptation of the korean novel "Only I Level Up").
didn't know that the fear perk enhanced ignite. thanks for the heads up. but just to put this out there you can probably get more dps by single casting since it stacks and has a super fast cast rate,
austin garrett you can dual cast as fast as you can single cast. you actually get 2.2x damage but at a cost of 2.8x magicka. that may or may not be a big deal depending in your skill, the apprentice perk and your magicka pool and/ or cost reduction gear. while the extra damage from dual casting is nice, the real benefit is when you have the impact perk. you can stagger lock and shut down a opponent so they can't retaliate. However, you can't stagger an enemy that is already staggered. If magicka pool is a concern, you can do a dual cast to stagger them, them a quick double cast or 2 before you stagger them again with another dual cast. just some food for thought.
Thanks for giving information about increased fire dmg with aspect of terror. Now my ''pick everything you can in magic tree'' character has purpose to invest in illusion tree earlier, so it is now more funand versatile
I love the lore in this game. will you consider doing a video about Sapphire - her dad & uncle. also a video about snow elves and how they turned into falmers? thanks for the feed as well.
ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides well..maybe i dont know very much..but special edition includes all the dlcs...and original edition has no dlc..only if you buy it
I wanted to play as a warrior mage but after a while the spells got to weak so I changed completely to a warrior who one shots most opponents on legendary but you have made me regain my faith in destruction but the enchantments on my ring now are amazing though
Flame cloak is twice as strong and lasts 4 times longer but has weird aoe instead of long range and doesn't stack with itself iirc and has a 20 percent burn damage bonus . If you're using a mod that fixes broken spells wall of fire does 1500 damage over 30 seconds base damage. With destruction dual cast by itself it does 3300 with the hazards. Augmented flame and general destruction bonuses like the destruction insight scrolls further boost damage. Finally it has a 33 percent burn damage bonus
Hey I'm starting a fire mage character and i would really love to have the full guide on how to totally max out the fire damage including enchants, different armor pieces and how to get all of it
Obviously the destruction perks, enchant perks to boost the armor fire enchantment upon creation. And there’s also feedback loop glitch where you can infinitely stack enchantment effects allowing you to create destruction enchanted armors that transcends nuclear warheads
ESO, if I'm not mistaken, this probably also requires choosing the Intense Flames Destruction Perk as well before choosing the Aspect of Terror Illusion Perk, in order to get the Fear flag on Fire spells for the Aspect of Terror to boost Fire spells. I think that is what the reddit post indicates and browsing through UESP's pages seems to indicate this too. But I don't know for sure from any sort of testing on this.
you so thank you so much for putting up this video because I just started a mage build for Skyrim and this is going to help me so much cuz I need to find really good spells for a fire mage
I love and hate playing the way I do. I use a bow for the first couple hits, then conjure flame atronach, then run into battle with an axe in one hand and destruction spells. Using oak flesh or other wards to help. But games don’t like balance playing you really should just pick one thing and do that. But I like how i play, gives me more fun by doing all kinds of stuff. But for my current playthough I’m thinking of trying to level beyond 80, and switching to two handed or heavy armour to switch it up after I legendary some of the other skills to keep it moving.
ESO is great. He has really click baity titles sometimes but they actually remain true to the contents of the vid. Keep it up, man I really enjoy watching your stuff
I like the ignite combo. Skyrim was one of the only games that made spell usage super weak in comparison to melee or archery. Good to see end game killing with a spell.
I actually use 0 cost to all Destruction spells and dual-cast the spell Unbounded Storms, with maxed out Shock effects, so I shred every single wave of enemies and bosses, all at once, in mere seconds. I killed Alduin in 3 secs and Ebony Warrior in roughly the same time Edit: This was on the Master difficulty, and is basically just as effective on Legendary, albeit taking slightly longer to kill everything (you're still perfectly safe due to the stun-lock of everything around you)
Great guide, but in case it hasn't been mentioned already in the comments, DO NOT USE the Unofficial Skyrim Patch Mod if you want the damage multiplier to work as described in the video. Apparently "With the Unofficial_Skyrim_Patch installed, Aspect of Terror no longer applies to Fire spells, even with Intense Flames." :( Source: en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Destruction#Intense_Flames
When I showed this to my friend he literally said “the ebony warrior is super easy I killed him when I was level five” anybody wanna tell the people who don’t know what’s wrong with that
If you get the perk that makes destruction cost 50 percent less and then enchant your helmet and torso to get another 50 percent less to cast to make it cost no magicka
+ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides You said this is not a glitch and that it is totally legit but i think it is a glitch. The main perk u need for this build, Aspect of terror, only says that fear spells work on hogher level opponents. I do agree with you that fire spells are fear spells but destruction spells are not restricted by level so it works on every enemylevel anyways and additionally the perk doesnt say that it boosts the dmg of fear spells. So i think that this perk is just buggy and it is not supposed to booste the dmg of the spell. I didnt do any testing but have you checked if it also boosts the dmg of other fire spells?
It does boost the power of other fire spells (except for the flame cloak spell, but the cloak spells aren't affected by the augmented perks either). I'm not sure if it's a bug/glitch/oversight or an actual feature, but it is pretty overpowered nonetheless.
Wouldn't the 'necromancer' (pffft, like it's actually a necromancer - maybe a cryomancer) build be considered abusing a bug or glitch by removing and putting back on the helm? I'm quite sure that Bugthesda wouldn't have wanted that to happen. Which contradicts what he said in the start of the guide. It's like saying 'not going to abuse bugs, glitches, or exploits to make this 5 mil damage sword' and then using the fortify restoration-alchemy bug/exploit.
"Glitch"? I was talking about increasing damage by using Fortify Destruction potions. Given that it's Destruction magic, the damage would be increased. Bethesda surely didn't want fear perks to be connected to fire spells this way. Not sure if that's technically a glitch, but it was certainly unintended.
John Smith unfortunately destruction potions don't boost the added damage from aspect of terror, only the base damage and increase from the augments in the destruction perk tree. I've tested this and those are far more effective on say adept and expert spells like fireball and incinerate than on novice and aporentice spells like flames, firebolt and ignite. in the case of ingnite, only 6 of the 21 points of damage per second gets buffed. for me( with custom +198% potions) that is close to triple at 18( likely 17 rounded down). that with the 15 from aspect of terror is 32 or 33, so only about a 50% increase. fireball will go from 60(double augmented) to almost 180 plus the extra 15 and that is multi target with + 40% burn over 4 seconds. incinerate goes from 90 double augmented to almost 270 plus 15 with +20% over 2 seconds. and these are only single casts. if you truly dual cast ie kamehameha then it is 2.2 × damage for 2.8x magicka cost( or no cost if you are wearing a zero cost set of gear). without a potion you can hit 693 total with ignite and it can be very cheap. 30 magicka single at zero skill, 18 almost 18 magic at 100 skill and almost 9 magic with apprentice perk. if i wear 2 items with-35% cost each i can single it for less than 3 and dual with less than 9. my lvl 151 breton has 180 magicka. that is 20 casts in a row. more if i give a bit of time to recover between staggers. our you could double cast between dual cast staggers for double the damage at double the cost.
I don't think damage boost from Aspect of Terror can get boosted in any conventional methods. Even without this, your damage can go up greatly. Perks, Potions and Scrolls, every spell's damage can be much higher.
Yeah, with my potions dual cast fireball would be close to 395( plus about 158 over 4 seconds so about 550 total multi target) and dual cast incinerate would be close to 590(plus about 118 over 2 seconds so about 700 single target). This could be enhanced even more by wearing the Ahzidal dragon priest mask(fire spells are 25% stronger). Variable vs different dragons. Fireball (60+15)x3=225+15=240. Almost 524 dual cast plus about another 210 over 4 seconds so about 725-730 multi target. Incinerate (90+22)x3=336+15=351. about 695 dual cast plus about another 139 over 2 seconds so about 830 total single target. You would have to divide these numbers by 4 on legendary. Less vs dunmer (-50%)and bretons(-25%).
Damon Niles lol how so, no one ever sells liquids in grams. if you go to the bar and ask for a pint of beer but in stead as for 473.2 grams of Canadian the bartender would look at you like your an idiot. when you buy a bottle of coke it's not measured in grams it's it millilitres or litres. obviously it can be done but no one ever does it or if they do it's rare
eso please read it because is bug (if you try to equip "azdihals ring of arcana" if wearing "cursed ring of hircine" even if you will complete "ill met by moonlight" guest you can cast "ignite" and "freeze" spell wihout ring of arcana and you can equip any other ring you like true story i have explored this bug on my hero with name Frederica)
Agree fire is much better considering the fire perks, resistances to creatures in skyrim, ease of finding recipes, etc.. but damn is it satisfying when you snipe a bandit from a mile away with a dual cast frost spike and send his ass sailing off a tower. Side note, it's kinda strange how the frost spells scale.. they go from being super weak to omg by end game. Icy Spear and Blizzard are honestly more fun than fire build to me.

Thanks for giving information about increased fire dmg with aspect of terror. Now my ''pick everything you can in magic tree'' character has purpose to invest in illusion tree earlier, so it is now more funand versatile
My first virtual handshake is with a legend. Thanks ESO
I love the lore in this game. will you consider doing a video about Sapphire - her dad & uncle. also a video about snow elves and how they turned into falmers? thanks for the feed as well.
you said it can be done on original version too..
+zRazvan_ I did and it can
ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides He meant the vanilla version not the legendary edition.
ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides well..maybe i dont know very much..but special edition includes all the dlcs...and original edition has no dlc..only if you buy it
buy legendary edition = no problem
Churro VG it can be done in the vanilla version if you have the DLC
I wanted to play as a warrior mage but after a while the spells got to weak so I changed completely to a warrior who one shots most opponents on legendary but you have made me regain my faith in destruction but the enchantments on my ring now are amazing though
I hadnt thought of giving the ring to Serana, what a great idea!
This guy deserves 10 million subscribers..!
I dont know how he has only 800k subs...
He has a great voice...!
DOOMED INTRUDER just click the link below and he will get 10000000 subscriber's
DOOMED INTRUDER he has 1 mil now
For years I've been mocked for being a mage, finally I have the last laugh thanks ESO (laugh maniacally)
Nice, I'm early to a mage build no less. I love magic thank you ESO
Finally it has a 33 percent burn damage bonus
anyone else noticed the guy wearing full dadric armor sitting on the bench when he talked to relis the second time?
TheFlameGamer -gaming serana maybe?
TheFlameGamer vilkas
TheFlameGamer its his follower
If I had a nickel for every time ESO claimed something was the most powerful thing in the game, I'd be the next bill gates.
Ignite pairs well with paralyze and they both last 15 seconds with stability
Do a video on Sinderion and the return to your roots quest please
you so thank you so much for putting up this video because I just started a mage build for Skyrim and this is going to help me so much cuz I need to find really good spells for a fire mage
13:14 Argumented? Think if that would make sense to have an argumented frost spell.
May I ask what mods you use to make your game look so amazing?
Panda Cat Don't ask. He'll give you 50 fucking links
vReggi that's why i hate mods
As a lover of lightning magic, this makes me sad
You should do a pirate build were you run into city's pillaging and murdering the guards and people stealing their gold and items / booty . ARRRR
DarkPoiseiidon That would be fun to play! hope ESO notices this and makes the build
DarkPoiseiidon Yeah ESO should do this
DarkPoiseiidon :O I'll get all your pirate booty ARRRRR
DarkPoiseiidon Death brand armour with bloodscythe and soul Render?
That would.b coo
I like the ignite combo. Skyrim was one of the only games that made spell usage super weak in comparison to melee or archery. Good to see end game killing with a spell.
I used an ignite build to speed run special edition to get all the achievements :3 now I'm happily playing with mods!
I actually use 0 cost to all Destruction spells and dual-cast the spell Unbounded Storms, with maxed out Shock effects, so I shred every single wave of enemies and bosses, all at once, in mere seconds. I killed Alduin in 3 secs and Ebony Warrior in roughly the same time
Edit: This was on the Master difficulty, and is basically just as effective on Legendary, albeit taking slightly longer to kill everything (you're still perfectly safe due to the stun-lock of everything around you)
Trying to kill a dragon in a town has got to be a pain huh?
Great guide, but in case it hasn't been mentioned already in the comments, DO NOT USE the Unofficial Skyrim Patch Mod if you want the damage multiplier to work as described in the video. Apparently "With the Unofficial_Skyrim_Patch installed, Aspect of Terror no longer applies to Fire spells, even with Intense Flames." :(
Source: en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Destruction#Intense_Flames
Would this work in the switch version of sky rim or no?
When I showed this to my friend he literally said “the ebony warrior is super easy I killed him when I was level five” anybody wanna tell the people who don’t know what’s wrong with that
Is your friends name Jay by any chance?
@@drewidz5909 no
Technically nothing. PC console commands. But I'm pretty damn certain your friend doesnt know that
I thought I had school today, on account of today is Monday but I was pleasantly surprised to learned we start Tuesday
If you get the perk that makes destruction cost 50 percent less and then enchant your helmet and torso to get another 50 percent less to cast to make it cost no magicka
What mod is making his map look so good
Better World Map mod.
good vid keep it up
+ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides
You said this is not a glitch and that it is totally legit but i think it is a glitch.
It is because there is a perk that make enemies flee when using fire spells
Those exploding zombies really gave me a good laugh haha. Had a blast watching this
Wouldn't the 'necromancer' (pffft, like it's actually a necromancer - maybe a cryomancer) build be considered abusing a bug or glitch by removing and putting back on the helm? I'm quite sure that Bugthesda wouldn't have wanted that to happen.
Which contradicts what he said in the start of the guide. It's like saying 'not going to abuse bugs, glitches, or exploits to make this 5 mil damage sword' and then using the fortify restoration-alchemy bug/exploit.
WHY IS EVERYTHING ON SOLSTHIEM I DON'T HAVE THE DLC
OMGoodness! I had no idea about the Ahzidal quest. Thank u!
I finally feeling better and am getting back into Skyrim as I am willing to put the time Into it !!!
All that damage and he didn't even mention Fortify Destruction potions. Skyrim's bugs continue to amaze me.
+John Smith this is without glitch ing, which I said, these type of comments continue to amaze me. I've already got a guide on that glitch
6000 gold?!? Wtf man. I need 2 sell more skooma, you need Some skooma 30 gold for a gram! ✌🏼️
wiz doobies skooma is a liquid not a solid. you would use millilitres or litre not grams
Liquids can also be measured by weight.
shadowlilman youre an idiot
Damon Niles lol how so, no one ever sells liquids in grams. if you go to the bar and ask for a pint of beer but in stead as for 473.2 grams of Canadian the bartender would look at you like your an idiot. when you buy a bottle of coke it's not measured in grams it's it millilitres or litres. obviously it can be done but no one ever does it or if they do it's rare
Why is Vincent van Gogh selling drugs
Im usually just eating snacks while watching my two Dremora Lords do all the work 😂 Necromancer for the win.
the DB DLC brought some really cool artifacts! can't wait to try this with my mage character!
what graphics mods are you using
11:08 kamehameha!
Thank you so much ESO I'm gonna go make the night king now :D
+ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides thanks man, it never occurred to me to use the ring in this manner
ESO is it possible to get Hrothmund's axe?
2019 anyone
eso please read it because is bug (if you try to equip "azdihals ring of arcana" if wearing "cursed ring of hircine" even if you will complete "ill met by moonlight" guest you can cast "ignite" and "freeze" spell wihout ring of arcana and you can equip any other ring you like true story i have explored this bug on my hero with name Frederica)
AUGMENTED - AWEG-MENT-ED
Ryk Latortuga ORG MEN TID
lol made me laugh too
Every time he says “Draug” I lose a brain cell >.
I lose 2.
It's a nickname, bro.
I am doing a pyromancer build and this helped a lot thank you so much
Love all the vids ! I don't think I would've had nearly as much fun as I'm having now, playing Skyrim, if it weren't for your vids.

Great video, once again! Thanks, ESO!

What map mod do you use? and is it on Xbox?
Krypter Its the mod named A Quality World Map 9.0.1 With Vivid Stone Roads. I downloaded it on Nexus so I dont know if its on Xbox.
Krypter it is on Xbox
Tyler It doesn't have to be on xbox. You can use any gamepad/controller on PC.
FuckOff Google+ He is just saying that the mod is on Xbox as well as PC. I think he knows that ESO is playing on a PC in this video
