I had same problem too! thanks for sharing the information. "MC703HL" nylon is the best. Better than "MC901". I am not sure but maybe "MC801"(weather resistant) will be good too.
Just got myself a V Raptor yesterday. Rode it home for 260 km and took it for another 100 km today around the city outskirts. The bottom of the tank has a seal on a fuel line that leaks. I also noticed the right hand side plastic gill sort of thing is missing. Any Raptor owners' advice?
Hi all, one question: how did you get the slider into place, past the rear shockabsorber??? I have here an exact duplicate teflon slider for the Raptor 650, but NO WAY can I get it to fit.......please advise. Greetings!
TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) Hardness grade shore A 95 (shore d 50-59) , as far as my research got me , stamp on my cagiva oem slider is signed to Pur ,hope to 3d print TPU soon or take your method . good job
Update ,My Cagiva PUR Chainslider hardness tested @ shore a 87 (it had harden up a little overtime ) , making a silicone mold soon to copy of my prepaired oem slider and fill the fixed silicone mold eventually with Pu 80 shore a , urethane ,it have to cure a day+ , found the Pu80 closer to home than aspected polyestershoppen.nl/polyurethaanhars and seen @ www.siliconesandmore.com/nl/polyurethaan-gietsysteem-a75-flexibel-set.html hope most find Pu close to home to try ? ill update if i have succes .
Great Job Jon. Has anyone else made one? or better yet, found a place that can make/print them? Like John, I am happy to pay a reasonable price for one, shipped to Perth.
Hi Jonathon, really nice job. I have the same make and model the slider is missing so I don't have a template to follow. Would you make one for me? Happy to pay a reasonable price and postage to Sydney. What's the best way for us to discuss, I'm reluctant to include phone numbers and email address/ Thanks John.
Hi John, I would love too but I don't have much available time with family and work commitments. I found a template on a Cagiva raptor forum while looking for chain sliders also try Facebook groups and use the translator tool was great getting help from people in Italy who have the same difficulty. Cheers Jonathan
I do not make chainsliders For the gsxr are they not for sale anymore ? (It,s Populair circuit bike?) You can ask info at the Guy from cagivaparts eu ,he is nice. Uitimaker did have tpu 95 shore. And ninjaflex come,s close for 3d firmament.
@@wilco1v Ok, so 80shoreA wasn't enough as I understand. I've send an email to cagivapart, waiting for a feedback from them And this is for the 1rst generation of Gsxr 1100 (1987 in my case ), Suzuki decided to stop the production :/
shore 95 tested on my cagiva chain slider marked with PUR as material . cagivaparts eu do use hmpe (also good) ultimaker.com/materials/tpu-95a (choose your language ) see datasheet support.ultimaker.com/hc/en-us/sections/360003556679 good luck .
Even the throwaway comment about chopping boards is very useful insight. I think I'll try that on my scrambler.
Bloody awesome video ! Very informative and well produced ! Thanks-a-bundle.

Use a used bumper..it's made of abs plastic..also between 4 to 6 mill thickness and bendable

@@wilco1v Good evening! I am interested in your comment, what was the result? Why not just use the 3D printed part?
See cagivaparts.eu for chainsliders
