  • Hey All,
    Today I thought it would be fun to talk about how to care for Blue Angelfish.
    You may hear these fish referred to as Blue Sapphire Angelfish, Blue Zebra Angelfish or Blue Pinoy Angelfish, but the care requirements are all the same.
    Hope you enjoy.

    Nice video. You seem to have a lot of expertise with angelfish. I wish you had touched on how many to keep in a tank. For example what is an appropriate number for a 90cm tank? And when a couple pair off, what then? Will there be warfare or deaths in the tank? What about keeping just one? Or are they social? I would love to hear your thoughts.

    • @BlakesAquatics
      @BlakesAquatics  2 роки тому +1

      You can definitely keep 1 or 3-5 in a tank that size.
      When they are breeding its not really a case of instant warfare and deaths, its more of a pecking motion and defending space. So its fish that dont respect that space that get damaged

    Hi Blake, the angelfish are stunning. How big is your tank? I have a 200L tank with some 20 cardinal tetra, bolivian rams, and corys. How many would you suggest in the tank. Thanks 👍

    • @BlakesAquatics
      @BlakesAquatics  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Nayan, its a 120cm x 45cm x 45cm tank, about 240L. I'd start with 3, nice sounding tank.

    My blue Gourami has been guarding a bubble nest for the last week. I just scooped up the nest with a Tupperware. I have about 50 tiny fry darting around and I don't have brine shrimp. Can they survive on ground up flake food.? What can I feed them? 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟👍😮🤪
