Refreshing/original video and probably relevant to everybody no matter how experienced! I went from 3 tanks back to just 1 large community tank.. and thats felt perfect.. some species envy but its ok! I even look forward to the maintenance (usually)... plus I can really spoil that tank with UV and C02 etc. Who knows in the future ofcourse... life circumstances do change..
I completely agree with all your points. I also learned to not put tanks low to the ground. I always ignore them and barely ever look at the fish in those tanks, but ofc I still have floor tanks because lack of space. 😂
@@Guppy_Girl I set up a tank on the ground, and then I realized getting water out was going to be annoying. So now I'm going to make sure I can drain all my tanks with a siphon.
Hi, I understand people in the hobby have tank itis (if that's how you say it) so they need every fish and have tanks on racks from floor to ceiling. How on earth can you enjoy a tank that's at crouch down or strain your neck up to see. For me it's better to have tanks at a comfortable hight whether you are sitting down or standing. When you're in a relaxing state you'll enjoy the hobby more.
I was changing water too often and too much because of so many videos telling me this, and then I reduced the amount of water and time between changes and my plants did so much better!
I agree. When you have that tank that you just go through the motions of changing water without even looking at the fish, it's time to make like Queen Elsa and let it go. 😊
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Could you please do a video on how you have set up your water change system?

Agree! Keeping things nice and tidy is key for me to enjoy my tanks
Tanks and body looking good brother. Keep it up legend 💪
Appreciate it
Great video and advice Blake. Do you 'grow out' the smaller fish like CPDs etc. in the same sized tanks that you've bred them in?
Yeah exactly
My best equipment is a wheely chair so I can zip around between tanks
Haha yeah. Cleaning up definitly helps
Definitely!
Bro you look much slimmer! Whatever you are doing keep up the good work 👍
@@audio1484 thanks mate, 30kg down so far 😄
Do you do the legends thing bc it's an Australian thing to say?
Yeah its just natural for me to say that i guess

How many tanks qualifies as a fish room? I managed to stick 3 in my bedroom 😂
Count that for sure 🤣 any room with tanks is a fishroom
Under 20 minutes gang⬇️
I don't heat my tanks and my fish have been fine for years. My house usually stays above 70°F
Looking good Old Blakey 🛟 I'm not sure if I have any rooms that I wish were mine but Adrian's is the favorite right now !!!
