Ive always loved how the Fords 3.5L V6 sounds. Without the custom exhaust, its perfect to me.

hey Mitchell, car sounds great man honestly I think it sounds better than the magnaflow or even borla cat backs! your video defiantly sold me on the idea of removing the secondary cat and resonator. one question what size piping did you replace them with and what diameter inlet are those 41851s's? again great video!

All said and done, it cost me around $600.The actual cost of the mufflers themselves was the biggest factor here, retailing at $250 each (I got a bit of a deal, probably around $175-$200, but I don't remember exactly what I paid for them).

I took off "both resonators" yes... There's actually only one resonator, the other is a secondary catalytic converter. I simply replaced both mufflers with Magnaflow 14851s, and replaced the "resonators" with straight piping :)
So there was no O2 sensors in the cat and resonator? Pretty easy to delete?
I'll have to bookmark your video...I park beside an Edge and even it sounds better than my Sport. Been wondering if I could just swap that in (an Edge setup). Yours sounds about perfect, if you were in Wpg I'd look you up to hear it in person.

Did you run the new exhaust for a little while before you deleted the cat and resonator? If so...was there a difference in cabin drone? I have a magna flow axle back with 4" tips. It doesn't quite have drone but it is noticeable. I want to do this but I will be damned to have my whole cabin full of deafening drone lol!!! Its not a race car you know!?! But I sure do enjoy hearing yours...great job!
Drone isn't too bad. It's a little loud when accelerating from highway speeds in higher gears (around 2-3k RPM) but I just turn up the radio haha
I was just wondering does the deletion of the second catalytic converter and the resonator really make it that much louder than just the deletion of the resonator? Thanks!
Just did the same setup to my Fusion Sport. Love it! It's not too bad inside but you can definitely hear it. Don't mind that though! I put that exhaust on so I COULD hear it lol Stock Fusion makes almost no sound.
yo i have the same car with stock everthing but im looking to purchase those mufflers, would you think they are enough to make it sound good ?!
I know this sounds stupid for me to say this, but under heavy acceleration, it sure sounds like a Supra for some odd reason.
