Excellent review! I bought this watch about a year ago, and it's one of my favorites. It's one of those watches that looks way better in person than in pics or video. It wears comfortably, including the strap which actually exceeded my expectations so much that I went back to the site a few weeks after getting the watch to order a black strap.
I’ve been absolutely in love with this watch ever since I saw my co workers in person and tried it on. Video doesn’t do it justice, in person it’s amazing. Yes, it may be a simple design but it’s perfect. The history behind the watch and company gives it such a huge cool factor. I’ve never been more hopeful for a giveaway. 🤞Great review Teddy, thanks for getting Stowa some more recognition they deserve. Great company from what I’ve heard by owners of the watches.
I love pilots watches, they're my favorite standard design. I like the simplicity and functionality. I have an IWC 3607 Fliegerchronograph myself.
Love it! I've become slightly obsessed with the Type-A Flieger watches. Love the sterile dial in the Stowa. Great vid!
back to classic and yet elegant, this one got vintage and classic style, match for everyday watch. LOVE IT!!
I have been lusting for a flieger for years... I love the throw back with a completely clean dial. Just can't bring myself to spend a cool grand on a timepiece when I drive an 07 Carolla. Great review man!
Absolute classic! I've got my fingers crossed on this one.
SIMPLE & BOLD! ONE OF THE BEST PILOT WATCH SO FAR. YOUR CONTENT IS BEST IN THE WATCH COMMUNITY! 👍🏻
Stows is the watch that got me interested in watch admiring/collecting. I love the display back. I’m a WWII aviation enthusiast as well, so that’s a bonus as well.
Why I love this channel. Never heard of the watch but now I am wanting one bad!
Thanks for another great review. Stowa is near the top of my next purchase list. I can't believe you are giving this away. 👍👍
I was in Budapest recently on a military training course and a French Major there had this watch without any complications and on a metal bracelet. Our wrists were quite similar and I tried the watch on in comparison to my automatic. It was like night and day. It was slim, sturdy and stylish. The Stowa was sophisticated but uncomplicated. I’m interested in buying one now.
I love this watch! Classic minimalist but bold design and amazing story
I've never really been interested in Stowa until you reviewed this one. Lots better than I was expecting. Nice pick, Teddy.
I love how simple the dial is. I bet it's one of those watches that looks way better in person than on video. Thanks for sharing this and very thankful for the opportunity to possibly win this. Thanks Teddy!
I've been very tempted by this one for a while now...
Great review, by the way!
This is one of my favorite watches although I'll probably buy the 36mm with manual wind. Thanks for the review!
Recently bought the 40mm hand-wound Flieger and it's gorgeous. Although being more expensive and less in its specs, I found it the way to go. The writing on the rotor is a nod to the writing that was on the closed casebacks of the WW II watches.
Love this. I was on the website yesterday speccing up a manual version.
The design is so clean, so easy to read the time! Love the watch and your review!
Thanks for showing this on your wrist. I've been looking at the Marine classic's that they have, use basically the same case. Was worried that it wouldn't work on my 6.5 inch wrist, but that 40mm looks amazing on yours.
Nice to see your review of this watch although I must say I'm a bit biased as I purchased one several months ago and love it! Stowa was wonderfully responsive to deal with and had it in my hands very quickly even with some optional touches, I give their customer service top marks. To add a couple of points, the ETA 2824-2 Stowa use in this piece is the Top grade rather than the more commonly seen basic or Elabore grades and mine gives wonderful accuracy ( over the last week it ran at +1.3 sec/day using Watchcheck) . Also, the annoying script on the winding rotor is there as an homage to the original RLM specification sheet which called for that information to be engraved on the inside of the caseback, so this is Stowa's playful adaptation of the requirement. While the flieger look isn't everyone's cup of tea, this has proved a good one for a practical everyday wearer. Thanks for the review!
Love this watch. I have been thinking about getting this watch ever since I sold my IWC. Compared to a Mark XVIII this is a better option. IMHO.
Thanks for the review of the Stowa flieger. It's great to see your unique take on this classic watch.
Fantastic video bro for brand with great heritage, I prefer the 36 mm case with manual wind.
Great video Teddy as always. I also like their Marine line which gives you all of the custom options. Just a great company giving the customer more options.
Stowa watches are a perfect example of horological minimalism
Enter: Movado!
Wow. Beautiful watch. I have always had a big crush on fliegers. Gotta give it up for Stowa for staying traditional with these
OMG! Your giveaways are so good! You really know how to get your audience excited.
fyi snakes are still crawling on my chest after seeing other people win the previous giveaways.
So simple and so beautifull... And "normal" size, I love it!
I love the watch, lots of heritage here! A must have style for every collection! Nicely done video, keep the good work my friend!
Thanks as always Francisco.
I own a Flieger Klassik and it has a top grade movement with amazing accuracy.
Love the simplicity of the dial
Stowa make excellent watches, much underrated IMO
Wowza, great looking watch! Always been a fan of Fliegers. I really feel like the seconds hand makes the watch.
One of my favorite designs , great video
Love the history behind these watches and their design. Pure function.
Great review as usual Teddy. Although I would also prefer the manual wound version, I actually like the military aesthetic of the rotor text. Lovely watch at a very good price IMHO.
Great video teddy! Can you perhaps in one of your videos do a review of the Q Timex Reissued versión that released this year. Also could you give your thoughts about that watch for a small wrist person with a wrist just at 6in or right under.
That could be a fun review!
I love a sterile dial pilot. So classic!
I am a huge fan of you and STOWA watches. I think it has a great quality with a reasonable price. Love this video!
The perfect watch. Thank you for making my day!
It is by far one of my favorite watch designs! If I could afford it I would have probably already bought it.
Search Escapment Time Flieger up, they are less than a 100$ and are amazingly well built
This is a great watch, and this giveaway is one of the best I've ever seen!
Great looking watch, love those classically clean lines.
Almost at 100k keep it up dude!
Fingers crossed, been saving (slowly) for this exact watch
That is a beautiful watch. Far nicer than anything I own at present.
Huge fan of the style. Huge fan of Stowa. Someone is going to be very happy to strap this to their wrist!
just got my hand wind Stowa, no logo absolutely loving it.
Great review Teddy. Great watch, backed by brand history.
Recently I got hooked up on Stowa watches and now I'm planning to purchase the Marine Original one, but you can't deny the fact that this Flieger is gorgeous
Very pleased with my marine classic roman manual.
I owned one of these about a year ago and It has been one of my biggest regrets selling it. It's an excellent every day watch.
That's a very neat dial. Simple yet elegant!
Great job Teddy you delivered.
Love the Type A flieger!! Stowa is one of the original brands too so it’s definitely historically significant. Think stowa makes considerably nicer pieces than Laco. Archimedes makes a nice bronze flieger too but stowa is my personal favorite. This watch is on my list for sure but only is Courtney likes it lol!!!
I love flieger watches. The movement looks great
Im a watch collector and have this modern Stowa Flieger. Its my thrown down watch that I can wear without worrying too much about it! Its a great German watch that keeps excellent time! I really like it!
You can the same benefits from buying a G-Shock at about $50!
@@jeeperspeepers8323 Great. Thanks Charles.
Have been wanting a Fleiger since college.... I’m 52! You give me hope Teddy!!! LoL 😆
Beautiful watch! The design is simple but that's what it like about it.
Beautiful simplicity!
Sweet!! I had Stowa under my radar for a long time. I hope I get lucky
Love it! Great review!
Cool watch!👍👍👍
Very clean design. It looks great without a logo or date window.
I jumped on the giveaway immediately! Been hoping for a stowa flieger since I discovered the brand
That lume shot 😍😍😍
Watch is simple, lightweight and just beautiful. They’re now $1200. Mine arrived in CO in two days from the Black Forest!
First time I came across a Stowa...wow nice watch!!
Gorgeous piece!!! This channel is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for getting me into watch world Teddy. I now have a seiko 5 and bambino, next one should be a Hamilton Khaki. What would you suggest. Love from Nepal!!
Suggestion for future videos : How about including a segment where you showcase different teddybaldassarre straps on the watch you’re reviewing. That way we get to the see the versatility of the watch and you get to promote the straps! Great content as always Teddy.
Great idea! Plan on doing that.
Looks awsome, love the blue hands but if i would buy one id go for a bronze case.
Great video and review!
Edit: is there a ghost position where the date-set function would be?
Tbh I kinda like the text on the rotor: it gives it a technical vibe. As an (European) engineer it reminds me as a German instrument, and that usually equals quality.
Like the simplicity of a flieger. Most are too big though, but this one at 40mm hits my sweet spot. Nice!
Gorgeous piece!
Love it, love the onion crown. Simplistic at it's best.
This watch is a beauty. The clean design, the blue frame on the hands and that long seconds hand is neat... and of course the history. It's a pity that in the date version, the date window replaces the 6 at the bottom. I believe it ruins the consistency of the dial. That's why the one without date looks better to me. Great watch sharing the "same" history as the IWC flieger ones but waaaay much more affordable. Danke sehr dafür, Stowa! :D
Anyway, since I didn't win it, it'll have to stay on my dream list for years to come.
Great content, Teddy!
Great videos teddy keep up the great work 👌
Thanks Jesus haha (funny to say)
I love stowa!! Hopefully i win this time 🤞 thanks for the great video, and the giveaway!!
Simplicity at it's finest. 👌🏽
I prefer the B type, but this would do amazing
Classic design. Lovely watch
Ted, you mention you're not a fan of all the text on the rotor. The reason it's there is because that is the standard text that all original pilot watches displayed on their backs. Granted those original watches didn't have display backs due to the need for antimagnetic protection, but I think Stowa found a good solution for this text placement.
Such a timeless design. Definitely a grail for me!
Not a watch-style that I would seek out but it’s definitely handsome in a very understated way.
GL peeps and thank you for such a great review
Love the design!
Looking for a perfect first watch. This is the size and style I am looking for. Fingers crossed to win! 🤞🏼 Thanks for your videos, I have learned a lot from them!
Thanks Stowa for the great watch for Teddy to review and giveaway!
A badass and classy watch with military heritage and no extra stuff. Plus German quality. Hope to get this in the future.
OK will do! Thanks for the video BTW!
It's a nice watch with some good features but I've always preferred the Type B over the Type A face on a Flieger.
You may have wanted to add that you can request it with a solid case back as an option. You can also have Stowa engrave the original Flieger FL 23883 ordinance number on the side of the case, opposite of the crown.
Tres belle. me gusto mucho! Love the militaristic minimalism.
Thanks for making a giveaway on this, Teddy! I'm a big, big fan of flieger designs but have never been lucky enough to own one so far. I think it's cool how extremely legible they are, and I think the origins of their design is fascinating. This'll be my own gift to myself for my med school acceptance if I win :) Great review and good luck to everyone!
Love the watch, but probably 41 mm version, with beatifuly finished Unitas 6498, with engraved logo, is more suitable for their flieger. Or maybe I am just weird. And btw as always nicely done review, pleasure to watch. ;)
Very nice, especially the size is really attractive.
Love this watch
