You don’t usually see black-Latino people who also speak Spanish on TV and on UA-cam bc they are not really represented but UA-cam is starting to changing it! I love seeing black (Afro- Latino) people speaking Spanish on UA-cam too instead of the mainstream light skinned Latinos and it’s soo beautiful!!😍😍

I think she's saying that afro Latinas are underrepresented in the media and alot of places aren't extremely diverse. So believe it or not, many people aren't aware they even exist... And that's sad cause it's 2018
M Kaylaa true one time me and my cousin were in Walmart and she heard afro latinos specifically black/afro hondurans speaking spanish and she asked why are those black speaking spanish like literally were confused and I'm like black people are everywhere not just Africa me being half Cuban I thought she would've known but she didn't 😕🤷🏽♀️

We're West Indians we clean EVERYTHING lol.. Chickens, beef, rice, vegetables EVERYTHING. If you don't have some vinegar, blood oranges, lemons or limes in your house as a Caribbean person then you're not real lol. But I just downloaded Duolingo cause I need to learn Spanish, cause lowkey my mind was spindling trying to figure out your side conversations with your mom lol. Plus its good to learn different languages, imma learn Spanish ya hear me.

Idk where you guys are/ we’re in LA but they aren’t that hard to find. There’s a huge black population with southern roots in LA. You may have to go to the “hood” to find it, but we really aren’t cultureless like people love to claim.
there’s really good black food places in LA (soul food , Caribbean etc) Ocho Rios Grill is good in Lawndale. Lee’s Jamaican food in Inglewood. Carolyn’s in Inglewood. Alma’s in Compton. Dulans also in Inglewood. R& Rs in Carson has bomb oxtails. You just have to go to where we(Black people) are at. Which is Compton, Inglewood Carson View Park Ladera Heights etc. and I’m from LA ! not a tourist lol so these are places I go to. My two cents has bomb vegan soul food too!

I'm from the Bahamas with Jamaican mother,and cooking the oxtail with sugar in the pot first, is the authentic way of the carribean, but in America we often use liquid browning. The taste is different.
We also wash all of the meats,and rice. I used to wash my ground beef,also ground turkey. I no longer eat meat except some fish.
