I spent a lot of time at that base after the name was changed NAS Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base (JRB). The BUFFS were gone by then and there was F-16's. F-14'S, F-18's, C-9's and C-130's. Lot of good memories at that base.
I live just outside of Dover Air Force base ( about 50 miles) and yeah man big difference between civilian and military Air craft sound ... No mistaking the sound of Freedom.
I love this gun so much better then the legacy 1000 due to not having to pump it 12 freaking times to get max velocity when hunting squirrels with the kiddo makes my arms less sore and doesn't scare every squirrel after first shot and reloading lol I love break barrels. I have had this gun for about a few years before kiddo was old enough to shoot it
Affordable beast. Not for kids. Adjustable stage trigger: You can not beat the value of that for reasonable money. I have shot greater in power air rifles and with the right pellet, this rifle holds its' own against them. cJT aka Chucky

great video bro i had a walk around a junk yard yesterday with my cometa 220 in .177 i ended up with 30 feral pigeons for the day it was great and im getting a cometa 400 in .22 for some larger small game like rabbits and wild geese and the like thanks for posting another great video

Certainly looks light and compact. Two things I'm not keen on though, the skeletal stock (although I favour thumbhole stocks) and rake/angle of the pistol grip. I'd like it with a lesser angle to it.

My Gamo Silent Cat went kaput a couple of weeks back. ( I try to cock it but the spring holding mechanism doesn't catch). I ordered one of these yesterday to replace it because i couldn't find a silent cat (new) anywhere. Is it just me or does this model resemble the Silent cat? The FPS is identical as is the iron sights and barrel, but about $50 cheaper that the Cat.

Hey Charles, quick question: how loud is this gun? I have a Gamo Varmint that I shoot sometimes but I also have neighbors who have hounds that'll start pitching fits whenever they hear it go off. Would you say this is louder or quieter than a Varmint?
The Gamo silent cat is basically the same platform, spring power, skeletal stock, 1250fps .177 18fpe. This shadow whisper is updated version with newr red band identity. That's it.
If your pellet gun is old you may need to clean the barrel as lead builds up in the rifling over time after 500-1000 shots. If it's a pellet gun that shoots both pellets and bbs and you usually use bbs you have worn down the rifling in the barrel as bbs bounce around and are hard steel compared to the soft lead of pellets
@@jackrichards1435 would you suggest a 10:1 pellet to bb ratio to "clean" the lead out? Just curious because how in the world would you clean it otherwise with such a small diameter 😅
@@westsurfer87 They make these cotton pellets that you can shoot through your pellet gun to clean the barrel, but I wouldn't shoot bbs in the gun even if it says you can shoot both pellets and bbs honestly, it'll always wear out the rifling on the inside but if you're doing close range plinking it doesn't matter much.
You can get it in .22 but not easy to find. The .177 is powerfull. I shot a hole through one of the short green propane tanks with a gold flight alloy pellet. It will kill coyotes and up to 70 pound pigs.
Bought that gun and I am happy they returned it at Walmart. It was a huge pile of crap I thought. Very cheaply made and the scope it comes with was garbage. My old Beeman pellet rifle from the 80's blows this thing away. I do enjoy your videos however, they have helped me out on other guns 🔫🔫🇺🇲🦅

Gamo whisper is very powerful especially when it's little jet engines power up when you grab it before you shoot it 🤔🤩😍
