- Join the Poncet family as they board their 50-foot schooner for a journey south into the icy and magnificent seas of Antarctica. While parents Sally and Jerome study penguin populations, the boys-ages five, eight, and ten-explore the amazing geography, wildlife, and history of this icy continent. Then, meet a climbing team and adventurers who brave fierce Antarctic conditions and attempt to reach the summit of one of the last largely unexplored mountain ranges on earth.
What a wonderful way to grow up! Learning about nature and respecting our planet. Lucky boys!
Thanks for sharing this great documentary. I love the landscape and wildlife photography and hope to visit Antarctica someday.
All country must act right now to preserved the beauty and wildlife of this last frontier of the world.
Amazing vid! I love looking earth, discover and meditate...
What a fantastic idea to make antartica into a world national park. That way it would be preserved.

I want to know this this video take which country
This this video is of Antartica, which is not a "country".
Not 1 life jacket, not even for the young kids as they lean over the edge of a big ass boat in icy waters.... in Antarctica.... they should learn parenting from the penguins!
in water that cold, I doubt that a life jacket would make much of a difference....but I had a similar thought,
Ridiculously under outfitted and half the time not watching those boys. The five year old in his skivvies leaning over icy waters brrrr! If he fell, it would take two minutes to kill him. Even when they were sledding - no gloves?! Sorry, way to negligent for me.
+Janet Seidlitz good points
And yet they are all alive to this day
chris arthur bit alarming, no life jackets 💀🤦🏼♀️
😎😎😎
anyone else feels the man needs new hat?
Ayman kas he’s got a smoker’s skin
Humans destroy every thing they touch. Diesel in Antarctica waters?? Horrible.
