Khan Market is actually one of the most expensive retail areas not just in India but in the entire world.
Average rent according to a Times of India study found average annual rents of 237 dollars for 1 sq ft of space.
So a small cafe with like 5 tables and 1000 sq ft area would have an yearly rent of 237000 dollars or 237k US dollars, So about a Million dollars every 4 years.

2:10 Actually it's a religion of fighting Back. It was a religion that comes up when India was struggling under brutal Islamic rule, Two Sikh Gurus and two sons were tortured to death by Islamic rulers of Delhi that time.
while Buddhism was also wiped out of north India because of there non- violence nature( and the Islamic Turkish invaders having a special enmity towards Buddha since Buddha was there former God in central Asia before they converted to Islam so in morden day in museums, In Buddhist stupas you won't find a single buddha statue for that era ,which has it's head intact ) and Islam has a pretty dark history in India.

Glad that you are enjoying the visit and i hope you didn't have any bad experience yet. Do you visit these places on your own or dou you have someone like a guide. I'm warning you though do not interact with every people you meet. There are some of the worst and shittiest people here among us, even worse if you are a female tourist. And yeah dont just jump off to try every place or thing the people on internet recommends, i'm sure they only want you to visit and enjoy, but we and you live very different lives, something here may not feel good for you. Dont just go out and try whatever these people say like food or etc. Check out if they are hygenic and how they are made. Decide for yourself. It's very different from here from all the positive things you must have heard of this country. It has got a very dirty and dark side, especially the people . I'm warning you again it's the people: watch out

I'm more worried about the woman with you. Recently a japanese female tourist was sexually assaulted during the holi festival, Never travel alone. These men may come as friendly and playful. Look out for your own safety. Dont wander off into local areas.

Delhi was the capital of most cruel foreign rulers and centre of their cruelty. this city has been destroyed and rebuilt multiple times on the dead bodies of countless Indians. most of the monuments in Delhi built by those cruel foreign rulers after destroying heavenly beautiful Indian architecture and there are roads named after them even after all these years of independence. after all no other Nation celebrates it's destroyers like India. there is not much Indianess left in Delhi.
