Uncle Iroh when Zuko’s tea is bad: pretends to drink it and that it isn’t bad Uncle Iroh when someone else’s tea is bad: “this is nothing more then hot leaf juice!”
You miss the episode where Iroh tries to teach Zuko how to generate lightning. He gives him tea and mentions that he needs a calm mind for the technique. Zuko then says that’s why they’re drinking tea which iroh just agrees.
Everyone appreciates zuko's arc....some even appreciate his hair's arc.....but no one appreciates his tea arc , his tea went from getting thrown by iroh to making the perfect tea for team avatar
It also reflects his state of mind. Tea making requires some precision and care when it comes to heating. So Zuko’s first batch was terrible because of his imbalanced state while his last batch is fine because he’s found peace.
Honestly, it's a bit irritating that they didn't include the following moments: "I know you're not supposed to cry over spilled tea, but ... **sniffle** it's just so sad." "Did I ever tell you how I got the nickname 'The Dragon of the West?'" "Delectable tea ... or deadly poison?"
7:00 Something so beautiful here. Everyone brought a piece of their culture with them as the world made peace. Iroh with his horn and Zuko handing him tea with a smile on his face. Toph straight chilling not hesitating a moments notice to share another cup of tea with the old man. Aang playing with momo using his unique bending technique. Katara watching Mai and Suki play Pai Sho. Sokka yelling at Zuko to stop moving for his painting. Iroh finally conquered Ba Sing Se in name of peace and tranquility amongst the four nations and team avatar can finally enjoy the leisures of modern development since their esteemed companion Appa is no longer missing. (The last time Sokka drew in Ba Sing Se was when they were making lost Appa posters.) (Piandao also witnessed Sokka's art skills.)
When I first watched the episode where that business man offered Iroh his own Tea shop, I was extremely worried that he'd get taken advantage of and used, I was so glad that it wasn't the case at all and Iroh had full control over his tea shop.
@@GoodLookingGentlemen I imagine he took a portion of money, and maybe a large portion of money from Iroh from any profits he made. However, I feel like Iroh wouldn't care, and that making tea would've been his utmost passion and seeing other people enjoy it as much as he did was more than payment enough.
@@DatOneAPXGuy I mean, there is a scene where Zuko smiles directly at the camera, so it’s not too far fetched. And it’s Firelord Zuko, give him the respect he earned.
What I wish they did with Zuko, if they don't do something like this in a future comic or the new movie, is that he mentions his growth is reflected in his growing love of Iroh's tea. My idea is that at first Zuko hated it because he focused more on his "redemption" than the tea. Then throughout his journey, as his priorities changed, he started paying more attention to the tea and began liking it. Then when he became Fire Lord, when his journey was complete, he grew to love Iroh's tea so much that he learned how to make it perfectly because he literally couldn't go a day without drinking a cup.
6:44 Shows Ming is a tad unfamiliar with plants used in tea, Iroh had previously gotten confused between the White Dragon plant, which makes tea, and the White Jade which is poisonous and which he accidentally consumed. So when Ming says she brought some "White Jade Tea", either she's trying to poison Iroh or didn't know the difference between White Dragon and White Jade and accidentally said the wrong one. Iroh would know the difference first hand.

Once, I was on a gmod server and I came across someone named General Iroh who had built an elaborate teahouse and was offering life advice and wisdom. We had many ginseng teas together, and he shared many insights into different problems in my life. I saw him for the last time on 25 Nov 2021. I hope he returns, because, "sharing tea with a fascinating stranger is one of life's true delights."
"How could a member of my own family say something so *horrible!*" This is comically dark considering that Iroh's family members are genocidal dictators, and have probably said some pretty terrible things, but THIS is what hits a nerve.
"Never give in to despair. Allow yourself to slip down that road, and you surrender to your lowest instincts." The way Iroh reacts when he hears zuko say there is no hope really gets to me.
