He hits those beautiful high notes with 0 effort, 0 struggle...no need to hold his ear, no avoidance (singing them on album but not live), no need to adjust the key he is singing, no lip syncing, not scratchy, no wearing those little ear things (whatever they are...I never cared to find out, cus my Favorite didn’t use them!) and he hits those notes multiple times!! Oh and we must acknowledge how easily he hits those beautiful low notes as well, and how the transitions between low and high notes is ridiculously easy for him!! AND, as if all that wasn’t enough, he’s singing to the music HE created, that he learned to create on his OWN!! Dear God I miss Prince...so, so, so much and I’m beyond thankful that we were alive at the same time. 💜😢🙏🏾😢💜

@@theteleisewilliamsexperience It’s all spot on. They are called in-ear monitors (I looked this up for you) and they help singers hear only what they want to hear while singing live, so that what comes out of their mouths is the right tone, volume, pitch etc.

There has never been a ballad like Adore. This man took the essence of every love song and said it's too weak to define to express how I feel about you. I don't love you, I adore you. He made every ballad writer go back to the drawing board. Even after the greatest musician of all time penned the greatest ballad of all time. Prince is not in the songwriters hall of fame. Shame on them.
Agree. He wrote so many beautiful love songs, spiritual songs , revolutionary songs, happy songs, sad songs. His songs were the novel of his life. He created the most beautiful music telling his story.

I've always thought that Prince never performed Man 'O' War live. My God, it's absolutely fantastic to hear him singing passionately this song and, then, we have Adore being performed.

This performance of Adore is I believe his best! I have seen Prince many times live that I've lost count and he effortlessly always hits the high notes with such beautiful precision. I am so glad I lived in the same lifetime as him to be witness to extraordinary talent. I miss artistry, musicianship and eloquence in music. Prince delivered this and so much more. I miss him incredibly!!!! Listening to this makes me want to cry.
