Thank you for the video. Your video makes me want one of these. If you put some beads on the leather strings on the sheath you could use them for counting in the field.
Only thing you need to make that cut right is a ceramic rod honer. I recommend Green Elephant's ceramic honer, you can get it on Amazon for a good price. You have an edge on that Bowie, it just needs a smooth touch up and you'll be cutting through stuff in no time.
Looks great but it has a tiny stick tang inside the handle, so it's useless for hard work in the woods 🤔 In Germany we say "außen hui, innen pfui" 😅 On the outside jo, at the inside no... *sry my bad english 🥴
Nice, im getting one soon. Well, its like a joke. My girlfriend bought a $10 knock off of my 184 buckmaster. So im getting a knock off of her down under outback.
Cool knife. The leather straps are for attaching the knife to the leg so it's not flapping around then you move around. They are too short for that as they are, so you have to knot a extra length or two of leather straps or paracord to them. Don't worry about knife sharpening skills. With the right technique it's easy and I recommend the Japanese technique with a wetstone. You tube have several videos about that and you will learn in no time. You don't need any special or expensive wetstones. A simple, cheap stone from Walmart with one rough side and one fine side is enough. Thank you for sharing!
Cheers mate for the info and you’ll be happy to know I’ve taken your advice and watched several sharpening vids now and I’m growing in confidence with sharpening! You know what they say practice makes perfect 🤙
Made the mistake of buying this knife the minute i read Pakistan on the blade i knew it was useless it’s a wall hanger only look’s good….I felt like someone sold me some magic beans #gutted😟😩
With this knife i chopped oak wood..i hitted the pommel against a oak wood table for many times..i thought it would break.. I did not. Use a magnet to get a idea what kind of tang this knife hase. I think rattail but my magnet let me think its a hidden tang or stick tang. A thin tang..but strong enough to chop with. Use this knife not for extreme hard tasks and it works good. I never thought this Bowie would survive..but it did. But dont forget..its not a Ontario SP10 Raider Bowie. But if you dont do grazzy things with this Bowie it will serve you well.. Just remember this knife has limitations. I even tried to break the Bowie with my knee..ok it flexed a bit by the tang but it did not break..and i am very strong. So..Use it as a knife and it will serve you well. Use it like a axe...then i dont know if it will hold up. But one thing i know..this Bowie is stronger then i expected.. Full force chops on hard oak wood..i was almost sure it would break..but it did not. Ofcourse for situations that i must trust my live with..i have my other Bowie's.. But for the money its a good knife..iff you know how to use a knife.. Nice video.
Just order one today. Under 50€.Greets from the Netherlands!

@@noodlebob5302 If you're still interested then remind me in like 2-3 weeks when i get mine. Just ordered it.
How much did you say you paid for it? I don't think it's a very expensive knife over here in the USA. It looks good
