I've just purchased this knife, I bought a grandson Rough Riders Combat bowie last Christmas it had a good solid feel and heft to it. The stacked leather handle was finished like it should be, it is comparable to my KA Bar knife.
Rough rider is made by down under. The steel is not as good and not double heat treated also. So you will have to sharpen it way more than the outback. My girlfriend has a outback, im going the cheaper way and getting one of these. Plus i can slip this one in her sheath and carry a down under.
I had heard rough rider and out back were connected. The handles kinda tell that. But i just cant spend 300 buck on a blade wen there are good usable ones for 100 and under. Shrade for example has big carbon steel knives in around 45 to 70. Or these rough riders. Indeed they may wear out faster but they can be replaced or bought in multiples for a fraction of the price.
I own more than a few Rough Ryders love them. Chopped up wood really good, no problem. So happy I have it. Nice video thanks for sharing

Put that bad boy between your front seats.
That will stop a carjacker, when your life is in harms way.

Is it full tang
The big brass end screws onto a larg rat tail tang. I have seen these break in other people's videos. But they were realy beating and using them hard
