I have watched all 3 stages many times. This is so interesting to me. It seems the Siberian expeditions hold my attention much better than Alaska expeditions. They meet so many cool people/families on their adventure. I'm ready to buy a Man or Kamaz truck and venture out. :)

Przeczytałem dwie książki organizatora tej wyprawy. Też początkowo chciał kupić rosyjską ciężarówkę (dostęp do części zamiennych i serwisu w Rosji), ale zrezygnował z tego pomysłu. Czy poprawi ci humor fakt, że zepsute w tajdze auto możesz naprawić 1500 km dalej? Takie są tam odległości. Dlatego na pierwszą wyprawę wybrał Land Rovera (1994 rok Koperski nie miał wtedy pieniędzy) a w 2008 kupił MAN Kat1, bo przy nim rosyjskie pojazdy to awaryjny złom. Teraz już nic nie kupi bo zmarł w 2019 roku.Ciekawa postać. Na Syberii był wielokrotnie.

@@howie2615 For me they look like sanddune tyres. Search for 'nokian hakkapeliitta truck'; that is a truck winter tyre. Tyres like that should have been on the truck in Siberia, it would have made a large difference. But, I do not know if large tyres as on the Siberian truck are made as winter tyres.

Mix 10 % gas into the diesel and you will never go thru this again ☝️
Tried that in a -40 trip across Northern B.C. into the Yukon one evening! It doesn’t work! Chugged along for 200 miles with more than 10% gas in each tank in a big truck. Adding the gas did nothing! Only ran good after some number 1 diesel. Actually I think I was at 20% after I added gas the second time.
One Bad Apple It work for me I’m telling you I had a Mercedes actros back in 2002 on the mountains in Switzerland and I did this and I have no problems so I guess it depends
Stelian Nistor Maybe depends on the quality of fuel. Or could be that chances are if you hadn’t added the gas you would have been fine anyway. My filter was already plugging before I added gas. Was stopping about every 25 miles to put a torch to the filter even after I added gas twice. I think it was more than 200 miles! From Meziad Junction, B.C. where I got the bad fuel to Morley River, B.C. where I filled with straight no.1 and kept filling with no.1 as I was in -40 and lower for over a week with no more problems. It may have have worked for you but I would advise not to bet with freezing your ass waiting to get rescued......and towed. Also, I have 15 years working with equipment close to and well north of the Arctic Circle and nobody ever added any gas to any diesel to make it flow. I only tried it because I had no other choice. Had no additives and no place to get any.
