soooo guess i just found out i own a french lop lol. she looks just like the pic at 1:26 and was sold to me as a mini lop but never thought she really looked like one.she has a longer nose and short legs
I wanted a rabbit, and got one of these. He’s five now. He’s so funny. Does have dental problems which costs me alot at vets. This isn’t because he doesn’t get hay. Unfortunately because of the breed, and the shape of their head, there teeth don’t always get grind down by things that normally grind them down, meaning it has to be done at the vets. I have to have my done every two months. They can also get ear trouble and eye trouble if they have dental problems. It’s not unusual for me to come out of the vets with at least two lots of medication for ear infections, blocked tear ducts, and painkiller for his teething. You also need to find a vet that specialises in rabbits.
That was my original favorite rabbit bread I had bunny named Gracie she was a French lop Very docile and cuddly and very friendly and playful rabbits 🐇 But I miss my rabbit Gracie she was only 4 years old 🪦 from 1999-2002 Shalom dove 🕊️ of peace ☮️
My 20 yo daughter lost hers unexpectedly 3 weeks ago. She is still mourning her death. Our French Lop was an incredible bunny. I am actively looking for another one to surprise her. If anyone knows a french lop breaded within a 500 mile radius of Chicago please let me know.
funny thing when i got my lop i was told it was a holland and she just got bigger and bigger and bigger....lol the pet store had no idea what they were selling me and how old she was cause i was told she was just a baby and put her and my 4 month old rex together to try to bond the and boom preggies ...soo i ended up with a six month old french lop and she had a litter of 3 kits....but i love all my now 6 bunnys very much and make sure they are well cared for they dont have bunny cages they live in large dog kennels when we are not home and are given free rome of the kitchen when we r home...and for those of you that think bunnys are dumb ....you are very mistaken mine play fetch and know their names come when called and go into kennel when told to go home when given treats know the word cookie ...very smart litter trained..and for new owners plz understand HAY is very important they do use it as litter and food sooo must be fresh daily and and i give mine greens 2 times a day with a half cup pellets...but their HAY is their life line..
