They really put a lof of effort into making other characters interesting and Daryl is amazing after years of just walking around with a gun. honestly i loved the big bang theory , it was a gang of nerds having the most ridiculous situations but imo the show got less watchable when they ALL GOT RELATIONSHIPS...
@Andrew Smith Those first couple of seasons weren't that great. The writing was rather poor and the jokes didn't come quick enough. Yeah, you can say that it lost something when they all got relationships, but the show only really took off at about S3. The first 2 seasons are kinda weak.
@Andrew Smith I'm not a huge fan of Bernadette either; she was ok I thought in the beginning, but by the time the show ended she was an insufferable bitch and I hated her. But what I mean about the first 2 seasons being weak has to do with the quality of the writing, which wasn't nearly as great as the show would later become, regardless of the relationship status of the characters. In the first couple of seasons, the jokes were written more around setups, (sometimes elaborate setups). Case in point, look at the episode where Sheldon's drug-addled "cousin" comes to stay with them, (which is really just an elaborate ruse which Sheldon perpetrates, but you've seen the show so you know what I mean). That episode epitomizes the problems with the first couple of seasons; the humor is built around a complex central premise, and most of the jokes don't come until the payoff, and even then they weren't that funny. (That episode is, for my money, the worst episode of the entire series.) As the show went on though, the writing got sharper and quicker, with the jokes becoming more free-flowing and easy, to the point where you could usually expect something funny every couple of seconds. The humor in the early episodes was often forced and contrived. Yeah, the relationship stuff, or at least some of it, got old after awhile, but I still think that the writing got wittier as the show progressed.
The difference between having Charlie or having Ashton is simple: Charlie: "Keep the money!" after he finds out his brother hoards money for "Old Alan", and tells him to spend it, and has a guaranteed place in his Malibu beachhouse. Ashton: Married Alan, gave him some stuff, and pretty much became his sugardaddy.
Love how any time someone talks about how The Walking Dead has “died”, they ignore the fact that critics and fans have given the last two seasons positive reviews.
Ikr? It really irks me because its definitely getting back up there again. Less boring filler episodes and just all round better. To each their own but yeah.
because the mid-seasons just made people drop the show altogether that's why. I mean sure, people can say the current seasons finally picked the show up, but once the damage is done no one really wants to come back who dropped it. For me it was Negan. No, not that he killed Glenn like so many people assume as to why people hate him, its just as a literal comic book character, his personality DID NOT AT ALL translate well into real humans. He was so comically evil that it was hard to take him seriously. The moment "Easy-Peasy-Lemon-Squeezing" came out of his mouth I just thought to my self "God this guy is pretentious just to listen to" and just dropped it.
For me walking dead got bad after the first season that was seriously amazing. Got be to read the comic which is basically all the big stuff one after the other and none of the filler. But aslong as people are enjoying it that's good just not for me
its sad that Doctor Who isnt on here becuase of what has happened in series 11 and especially, for shows that 'ruin their own legacy', series 12, but i guess that is two seasons, so maybe if you do a tv shows that dies quickly list it should make it, i dont know why people seem to be defending it in this way
Travis Stoudt started on season 8. While Family Guy is a bit more enjoyable than Simpsons (mostly); Simpsons at least doesn’t rely on shock humor, cutaways, and senseless padding like FG does
Supernatural should have been labeled (2005-2020) as the last season is up, they said this is the last one, when the season ends, so does the series, and personally ive enjoyed the entire franchise, if anything im sad to see it go, but it has to cause Sam and Dean Winchester have fought everything there is to fight, old gods, monsters, demons, even Lucifer himself.
I didn't expect Supernatural which happens to be one of my mom's favorite shows to even be on this list. For me personally, I'm not too much of a fan of it as she is but would expect it's holding on strong with the fanbase along this year supposed to be the final season from what my mom told me. Especially when they had the crossover with Scooby-Doo which is adorable, I'd expect the crossover to even attract a wider audience for it.
Supernatural was good untill season 5 but I heard people wanting more and after season 5 you can tell the passion for the show was gone. It felt forced as opposed to the first 5 seasons that were actually planned.
@@samlung2724 I honestly didn't expect it to be that bad after Season 6 as I enjoy watching the recent seasons with my mom too and never would've thought it gotten dull as the years passed by.

I have to respectfully disagree about the Walking Dead. The show has been rapidly improving since Angela Kang took over. If this video was made around the time of season 8, then I’d agree with it being on the list, but it’s doing great right now in my opinion. I’d honestly put something like Arrow or Lost in the #10 spot.
The people who would describe LOST the way you did here are not true fans of the show. They said it got too weird because they just didn't get into it enough to follow it and just wanted mindless week-to-week entertainment instead. True LOST fans would agree that the story resolved itself perfectly.
How dare you say Supernatural has "Died"?! I still love it with all my heart! I am terribly sad about it ending. And Family Guy?! Same with that, except for the ending! I still love it, and never want to see it end until a very while.
I love SPN too but it just tired over the years and almost the same storyline over and over again and bring back people that should have stayed dead and then kill them off again its like get over it already. But we might not get a show final so with what's going on right now they have not filmed the ending yet.
Same here I don’t want family guy to end anytime soon it is still great thankfully Seth MacFarlane said it himself that he doesn’t see family guy ending anytime soon
Alvarobrien Have you watched any of season 9 or 10? The whole story with the Whisperer War plays out like a classic Cold War propaganda/paranoia film. Plus they got the perfect casting for Beta. He is freaking terrifying.
Nihk HD Tigerson I fully understand. Gimple messed up all out war so much. But it’s a totally different show now. It’s now back to being the western/horror it was originally. If you start back up at season 9 you’ll definitely see a difference. It’s just sad that it took so long to correct the issues it had. The Beta vs Daryl fight was probably one of the best choreographed and realistic fight scenes ever seen on tv. Just check out that scene to see why.
Um, season 9 and 10 of The Walking Dead have had the highest ratings of the entire season... with season 10 at 92%. Season 7 and 8 were dumpster fires and I stopped watching... but I recently watched season 9 and just finished the latest episode of 10 and it’s way better. I get why anyone stopped watching, but if you give it another shot (especially after rick leaves mid way through 9) you’ll be glad you did. Season 10 has been the best by far.
The Walking Dead Season 9 revitalized the entire series. It's a complety different show after S8. Rick's departure may have been Lincoln's decision but it worked well for the main show's story and now an expansion of its world thru the upcoming movies 👏👏
You’ve got to be kidding me about the walking dead right? The past two seasons 9&10 have been the best in recent time. Yeah it sucks that rick left but that’s the actors fault not the show’s fault.
Kinda thought I'd see SVU on this list... even though I still love the series they have been repeating storylines a little and there's been rotating cast members, especially when it came to the prosecution lawyers. Should've kept Barba.
I'm rewatching Lost right now and I'm more than halfway done with the series and it just gets better and better with each season. It didn't slowly die. Why would someone casually watch Lost???? Not the right show to do that with.
Heather H Yeah I totally agree, Angela Kang saved the show. I was just pointing out that it was funny how the improvement happened after he left, not that him leaving improved the show.
@@ScubaX29 I am half and half the Rick thing yeah Angela Kang gave it a boost around the time Rick left. But Rick may have needed to leave because i and a few other people say season 9 picks up after he left. For me i enjoyed a couple of the episodes as much as the rest of the season the one where Gregory dies and of course when Rick leaves. The thing is that Rick lost his touch in season 9 because there was no Carl and maybe the show was still recovering from that mistake.
Problems with The Big Bang Theory as it went along: Bernadette became an insufferable bitch. Raj was slowly written out. The ending was an insulting cop-out. (I still hate that finale; nearly undid what 12 years of the show had built up.)
Disagree with a lot of these. Walking Dead had a few rough seasons but it's pretty Damn good again. Supernatural definitely overall dropped in quality after Kripke left but it's still an awesome show, Once Upon a Time was always fun though definitely the first couple seasons were the best (but that's pretty much every single show ever) and Big Bang had a super solid ending
alot of people i think just lost interested that started from the series. My family loved the show but eventually with the breaks and stuff, started to lose interest or forgot about it. I remember when those hiatus cliffhangers would keep me wanting more then it became ''oh walking dead is back on I gotta check that out sometime.''
I was so sad about Once Upon A Time. The way it was rewriting old fairytales made it one of my favorite shows when the first few seasons aired, then it got so boring so fast that I don't even remember what was happening when I stopped watching. I have no interest at all in finding out what happened to them.
I disagree. It should have ended season 4 at the latest. How long can people be lost on an island? The only way the show should have Co tinued is if you introduce brand new characters. And tell a different story Of Lost but different scenarios. TV shows based on a theme of a rare occurrence shouldn't last more than a season or two. Other examples are: Prison Break, arguably the best first season of all time 24 (even though I loved it. My guilty pleasure.) How I Met Your Mother Probably more that I can't think of currently.
10. The Walking Dead (2010-) 9. How I Met Your Mother (2005-14) 8. True Blood (2008-14) 7. Supernatural (2005-) 6. The Big Bang Theory (2007-19) 5. Dexter (2006-13) 4. Lost (2004-10) 3. Two and a Half Men (203-15) 2. Family Guy (1999-2003; 2005-) 1. The Simpsons (1989-)

And what's up with saying that the show stopped focusing on characters? It didn't and it's actually why some people didn't like the finale: it was too character driven for them.
The walking dead died when Carl died then completely died after rick was gone.....read the comics way better....
@@trey1215 I was also ready to drop the show after Rick left. He was the only reason I watched the show during seasons 7 and 8. But somehow, after he left, the show got even better! They really put a lof of effort into making other characters interesting and Daryl is amazing after years of just walking around with a gun. Don't get me wrong: I'd love to see Rick back but they did miracles to make the show work without him. I understand the upset about killing Carl off but Judith is SO MUCH better! Carl often annoyed me while Judith is just so likeable and awesome. I love whenever she's on screen.
I just wrote the same thing twd is doing feat now eventually the dead will be gone and the show would be still interesting imo
a lot of people also like the end of game of thrones; That doesn't mean it wasn't shitty.
@@fredmctictac2272 I like the ending of GoT too xD But in that case I see where the critic is coming from. They definitely took some shortcuts there. Lost, however, is just amazing and most of the complaints I see about it are simply wrong. I can only understand if some didn't like the style of the show in its second half because the show changed quite a bit. But it was still beautifully written with clever plots, perfect character developments and top notch dialogues.
PS: Your comment was stupid btw. I could say that "A lot of people don't like the ending of GoT. Doesn't mean it's bad" and it would have the same merit as yours. Arguments! Learn to construct your statements properly or you will fall into nonsensical traps like you just did.
Watchmojo: Twd has seen better days
Also Watchmojo: Shows a clip from season 2
Right!?
Wtf watch mojo haven't done their homework!
Facts seasons 9 and 10 are fucking spectacular
It’s great again
Garrett Yorke I stopped watching it after Rick left and didn’t pick it up after the mid season finale, is it worth the watch again?
Lisa 86 yes competely, story telling its incredible and is giving us sone of the best moments of the show
HIMYM was amazing, baring the last 10 minutes. Saying that it was losing traction even before the final episode is just straight wrong. It’s more rewatch able than friends and Seinfeld. Don’t @ me.
Shehryar Ali Khan Season 8-9 were pretty dull, they had some great scenes but too much filler
Shehryar Ali Khan friends is more rewatchable
Himym was weak pretty much dying as of season 5.
The Walking Dead is at its best again.Anyone who quit watching should start with season 10 again
after last Sunday's ep it was like WOW it's getting good again.
What's your top 10 TV series of all time?
Ya like I'm gonna start watching twd again
More of the same, characters you love die, the ever present zombies that never actually die-die unless you shoot them or something, I wouldn't want to keep living in a horrible world like that, what would be the point?, it's just too depressing.
karen bock
Yea once Kang took over it was amazing. Also Beta is freaking terrifying.
Correction: Scrubs never died. It was fantastic and glorious from season 1 to season 8. It is a masterpiece.
Supernatural never actually lose the beauty in it.. People still watching it with the same love ❤️
Its still alive because I just started watching for the first time
How about amazing shows that died suddenly?
1. Doctor Who
What's your top 10 TV series of all time ?
Game of Thrones
hey i know that David Tennant was the most likable doctor ever, but really the show has been just fine until the female doctor arrived, and yeah that may sound sexist but the writers have been off since their lesbian doctor fantasies popped up.
"Get woke, go broke"
The power of the woken ones killed doctor who
Seriously, Game of Thrones isn't even mentioned?
The Fan Without a Face it didn’t slowly die, it nose dived hard
GoT didn't die slowly. It ended in a rush.
While s8 was what killed it, the show declined in quality from s5 onwards. More people will realise this as time goes on.
@@willryan8694 Not really. Many fans consider season 6 to be the best one. The second half of the series was definitely uneven but it wasn't a constant drop. You also have to keep in mind that the show had bigger audience with every season which is one of the reasons it didn't end up on the list.
@@MatiZ815 you're right but the season was still poor IMO. I'm also a book reader and the show just doesn't even come close to how good the books are. S1-4 make a commendable effort but s5-8 really dropped the ball.
Supernatural did not deserve that kind of hate. Started strong, took a dip, came back, took a dip, going out well. Fight me on it.
Actually ever since season 9 The Walking Dead has been GODLY
Rommie26 FACTS! They don’t actually WATCH the show. They just assume because of season 8 the show is bad
wouldnt know, stop watching after that prison season. It was the same shit over and over and characters were less interesting. It got stale and the hype for me was starting to fade . Then theres newer shows on the rise that may turn your attention and you just start to forget about episodes airing.
Last week was definitely in the top 5 episodes ever.Might be the best ending of any of the episodes ever
I’m telling you guys
Watch the recap on UA-cam up to season 8 and then start watching 9
You’ll be hooked
It’s breaking bad level writing
Yeah no joke these last 4 episodes have been awesome
The walking dead season 9 and 10 have been the best seasons in years
I agree people should watch again . Season 10 is even better than 9 in my opinion
Jacob Metaxotos they’ve kind’ve been back and forth. Season 8 was the best in my opinion but the Whisperers have upheld the show more than the new survivors have
I stopped watching after season 3 but I've been watching this last season since it started
@@davidlance5310 season 8 is the worst in my opinion, but now the show has better writing and a shit ton of character development. I think the episode that just came out was one of the best episodes they have ever done.
It started going downhill cuz the Negan war was drawn out for too long. The new showrunner has been doing well for what she was given tho
I see Ted Mosby, I click.
Same
Season 9 and 10 SAVED The Walking Dead . People should watch it again season 10 is true horror again like season 1
Christian van Wijchen yes!
Very true
The only characters that have a big role in season 10 that are like OG's are Carol and Daryl. Michonne has a limited presence until she leaves and Maggie only appears in the original season finale and a couple of the bonus episodes.
@@0pacbig32 Negan also became a MAJOR character in these seasons and in the last one as well . In TWD origins they do the 4 main characters: Daryl , Maggie , Negan and Carol . But still the show became really really really amazing again IMO
@@Lich_King_Cos_21 You are right that Negan is a major character that appears in more promo now and i do really enjoy the character but people will feel more attached to the OG's he also continue to be disliked by a few fans and he was hated by a lot of fans in his earlier seasons.
Scrubs didn't slowly die. It had 8 good seasons with a great finale. Season 9 was the only bad one and even the creator said he considers it more of a spinoff.
I still find walking Dead interesting.
It got better with the past couple seasons
They are killing of interesting people thats why its not interesting anymore
HIMYM didn’t die off, all seasons were fantastic it is just the ending that the audience hated and was a let down. Doesn’t mean the show went downhill as I enjoyed every season
honestly i loved the big bang theory , it was a gang of nerds having the most ridiculous situations but imo the show got less watchable when they ALL GOT RELATIONSHIPS...
When sheldon got a girlfriend it was over
@Andrew Smith Those first couple of seasons weren't that great. The writing was rather poor and the jokes didn't come quick enough. Yeah, you can say that it lost something when they all got relationships, but the show only really took off at about S3. The first 2 seasons are kinda weak.
Rogelio Rojas Lmfaoo wtf I’ma start watching bleach because I always wanted to but this ain’t the video to talk about it💀
Gosh, I hate Amy and Bernardette soooo much! 😒
Walking Dead has picked back up these last 2 seasons tho
Clearly haven’t seen TWD season 9 &10 🤧 best it’s been in a while.
What do you expect its a biased channel
St3alth Ninja I know lol.
Nikolai Tedeschi trash
The difference between having Charlie or having Ashton is simple:
Charlie: "Keep the money!" after he finds out his brother hoards money for "Old Alan", and tells him to spend it, and has a guaranteed place in his Malibu beachhouse.
Probably they don't want the show to end but the show has aged badly.
because the mid-seasons just made people drop the show altogether that's why.
When you're to refresh a show you have to add something new and actually fresh but in a post apocalyptic world it is hard to do that.
im sad Yeah, but a lot of people don’t watch the show anymore.
I won’t be like those people who say “First”.
Enjoy your videos without any irritation!
You literally said it you wet lettuce
Thanks so much, it was funny at first, but now it's just so overdone! 🙄

@@greenrobot5 people can change their mind, wtf?
Cringe.
The problem with ending a show that many people love is that no matter what ending you give them there will be people who are not satisfied with it.
Idk, Breaking Bad probably had the most perfect ending of any show I've ever seen, and I have heard very few complaints.
Unpopular opinion - I loved the way HIMYM ended. Enjoyed every season too.
The walking dead has actually been pretty good with seasons 9 and 10
I still like Supernatural.
but if you'd been watching the new season of walking dead you'd know that its actually getting better.
For me walking dead got bad after the first season that was seriously amazing. Got be to read the comic which is basically all the big stuff one after the other and none of the filler. But aslong as people are enjoying it that's good just not for me
Supernatural has NEVER gone downhill.....
its sad that Doctor Who isnt on here becuase of what has happened in series 11 and especially, for shows that 'ruin their own legacy', series 12, but i guess that is two seasons, so maybe if you do a tv shows that dies quickly list it should make it, i dont know why people seem to be defending it in this way
It isn't popular enough in North America to be on the list (at least, not anymore).
The office didn't even make the Honorable Mentions how dare you sir
New Family Guy is WAY worse than modern Simpsons. You guys gotta go easy on the show; FG has done worse than Simpsons ever did
what season did family guy go downhill???
Travis Stoudt started on season 8. While Family Guy is a bit more enjoyable than Simpsons (mostly); Simpsons at least doesn’t rely on shock humor, cutaways, and senseless padding like FG does
@@thisjustincomics Foh hater. Family Guy is still good today. You're just offended by the jokes.
Multimedia Man disagree FG went downhill season 13
Jorge Ramos dude ima hardcore FG fan but I gotta be honest, family guy is hot trash now
Supernatural should have been labeled (2005-2020) as the last season is up, they said this is the last one, when the season ends, so does the series, and personally ive enjoyed the entire franchise, if anything im sad to see it go, but it has to cause Sam and Dean Winchester have fought everything there is to fight, old gods, monsters, demons, even Lucifer himself.
Flanderization, the word says it all.
um the walking dead made a comeback watch it
I didn't expect Supernatural which happens to be one of my mom's favorite shows to even be on this list.
@@samlung2724 I honestly didn't expect it to be that bad after Season 6 as I enjoy watching the recent seasons with my mom too and never would've thought it gotten dull as the years passed by.
dont listen to people, There is never a greater fanbase than supernatural... we dont complain ever, we loved all 15 seasons, and we are sad its ending, we would never stopped watching it even if it has 100 seasons.
@couldn't think of a username we were all there. we the fanbase was always there, from the start, which is why it WASNT cancelled. and youre going a little to far with the teenage girl thing. i call BS on that.
This season has been some edge of your seat shit!
Walking dead gets better with age. SPN has been slacking these past few years but thankfully the final season is good so far
The people who would describe LOST the way you did here are not true fans of the show. They said it got too weird because they just didn't get into it enough to follow it and just wanted mindless week-to-week entertainment instead. True LOST fans would agree that the story resolved itself perfectly.
I love The Big Bang Theory, but damn it, it took this video for me to realise that Chuck Lorre shows don't know when to stop...
How dare you say Supernatural has "Died"?! I still love it with all my heart! I am terribly sad about it ending. And Family Guy?! Same with that, except for the ending! I still love it, and never want to see it end until a very while.
@Sexy Lizard Man With Swamp Wifi 16 ep 1 and 16 ep 20 are amazing.
Supernatural is still good
I love SPN too but it just tired over the years and almost the same storyline over and over again and bring back people that should have stayed dead and then kill them off again its like get over it already. But we might not get a show final so with what's going on right now they have not filmed the ending yet.
Same here I don’t want family guy to end anytime soon it is still great thankfully Seth MacFarlane said it himself that he doesn’t see family guy ending anytime soon
Should make a list of shows that made a comeback......Walking Dead
Arthur Guillen
It’s just too bad that so many people jumped ship before it turned great again. Once Kang took over it immediately got way better.
A comeback???? I respectfully disagree🤦🏻 it should have ended a long time ago

Have you watched any of season 9 or 10? The whole story with the Whisperer War plays out like a classic Cold War propaganda/paranoia film. Plus they got the perfect casting for Beta. He is freaking terrifying.
I lost interest at season 7, when they started repeating themselves x:x
Nihk HD Tigerson
I fully understand.
Finally someone that apreciates the new seasons
Yes, glad people are giving it another shot
Supernatural was so good I just rewatch seasons 1-5 now the rest doesn’t exist to me
Imo the walking dead seasons 9 and 10 were miles better than the last few seasons of game of thrones

The Walking Dead Season 9 revitalized the entire series. It's a complety different show after S8. Rick's departure may have been Lincoln's decision but it worked well for the main show's story and now an expansion of its world thru the upcoming movies 👏👏
Just some guesses
Game of thrones
Heros
Dexter

Yes!! I would've thought heroes would've been on this list too but not even an honorable mention
Game Of Thrones was great the whole way through

Am I The only one That thinks The office should've been on this list. No?
Exactly UK only gets 2 series and is much better and us gets 9
Oh it is not on the list? How come?
It’s really funny about The Walking Dead and Rick’s departure because many feel that it has had a resurgence and once he left.
It's not Rick's departure, it's the new showrunner that has improved the show.
Problems with The Big Bang Theory as it went along:
Bernadette became an insufferable bitch.
The Walking Dead's quality has got better!!!!
Just because season 7 and 8 were "ok" the rest just has to be bad
Honestly seasons 7 and 8 may have the odd boring episode but overall its a great binge
im still into TWD, Rick may be gone, but thats ok, his story was over the moment Carl died imo.
Supernatural isn't as good as it was during the first five seasons but I don't think it's had nearly the downward slide others on the list had.
Walking dead season 9 and 10 have been critically acclaimed, and as you said still really popular, not quite show how that makes it on this list.
alot of people i think just lost interested that started from the series. My family loved the show but eventually with the breaks and stuff, started to lose interest or forgot about it. I remember when those hiatus cliffhangers would keep me wanting more then it became ''oh walking dead is back on I gotta check that out sometime.''
@@UndercoverSpill my point still stands. Also every tv show has breaks
I was so sad about Once Upon A Time. The way it was rewriting old fairytales made it one of my favorite shows when the first few seasons aired, then it got so boring so fast that I don't even remember what was happening when I stopped watching. I have no interest at all in finding out what happened to them.
The Walking Dead has actually bounced back pretty nicely post-Rick
I gave up on LOST when it became clear that they were making it up as they went along.
King of the Hill was another show that died slowly.
King of the Hill was never alive.

TWD actually hit it’s critical peak this season, with the last episode being one of the best reviewed of the entire series.
Number 1 power rangers
Although it's still thriving in comics and video games the show itself isn't bringing in the ratings for a long time
I’ll watch Family Guy over The Simpsons anytime. The old episodes of the Simpsons will always be my favorite.
TBBT never slowly died , it only died (You Say) because it had been airing for years
Why is watchmojo constantly putting How I Met Your Mother in negative lists and using it in the thumbnails??? It's really biased
Lost ended at the right time.... it didn't drag on.
I disagree. It should have ended season 4 at the latest. How long can people be lost on an island?
The only way the show should have Co tinued is if you introduce brand new characters. And tell a different story Of Lost but different scenarios.
TV shows based on a theme of a rare occurrence shouldn't last more than a season or two.
Other examples are:
Prison Break, arguably the best first season of all time
24 (even though I loved it. My guilty pleasure.)
How I Met Your Mother
