I feel like he would break the rules. It would be almost impossible to get him to ring out, since he'd stretch and grab the edge of the ring if he got hit away from it... But we never see the penalty for killing a participant and he definitely would not hold back. We now know that he's from the demon realm, so maybe he couldn't participate since that precedes all the other universes.
