You have been missed, let me tell you. Fun video. Those dance moves always make me smile. Keep doing what you're doing, have fun, stay safe, and always remember....meh~~......never mind what you are supposed to remember....just enjoy!!!! haha.
Happy to see you are back posting videos! Hope you enjoyed your time in our waters of Georgian bay and the North Channel over the past few weeks. No service is the compromise but so worth it! Continued safe travels and looking forward to more videos :)
Like the new kids are back. Great trip and all of the planning pays off. Glad you made it and now comes all the traffic of the big city and then into the river channels. The learning curve.
You shouldn't need to worry about going outside, you have a more than capable boat and it will handle the conditions even if it does get a little rough, who cares if its a bit bumpy just sit back and enjoy the ocean, and as already stated, it's safer out there than inside really, thanks for the channel and all the best, Al
Welcome back - you have been missed! Never thought about the lack of internet preventing you from posting your videos, but I'm glad you're back! No worries Jenn - I suffer from anxiety attacks myself (been in a hurricane many years ago, saving our ship-to-shore antenna from falling overboard). Here's to a very peaceful cruise!
I am glad you guys enjoyed the Trent-Severn and the North passage. Lots of Ollie time at the locks I hope. Back to the USA and heading south. Safe travels!
Glad to see your smiling faces again! So happy your cruise was fairly smooth and uneventful! I totally relate with Jenn and the anxiety in preparation for the cruise! I feel uneasy about my kids adventures. Loved seeing the dolphins! Did Ollie spot them? Safe travels!
Hey it's a pleasure to watch you guys do this I just started watching you guys yesterday. I'm from Baltimore I've been up and down all around those Rivers and there's a lot you haven't seen up and down the bay. Don't be afraid of the Hudson River in New York. Just a little friendly advice
Replace your watch with a $10.00 Timex. It tells the time, that’s it. You’re in good shape. You’ve gone so far. There are higher hands that will keep you safe. Thanks. D.
Was wondering what happened to y'all. Glad y'all are back. Dang, that was some smoooooth motoring you had on the open seas. For Jen's sake, glad it was smooth motoring so that she can breathe naturally. LOL 🤠
It was pretty tight, fortunately, we had our friends aaand it was only sand so worst case we wait for the tide or get a quick tow 😁 Thanks for watching Craig!
Glad things are going well for y’all! Jen, thanks for sharing your anxiety moments, it definitely keeps it real! My husband and I purchased our new to us CPMY in the Tampa Bay area and drove it home to the MS gulf coast! We traveled 503 miles which included the 150 mile crossing of the Gulf overnight (no, I couldn’t sleep). Every time we left and arrived at a dock was stressful for me. I’m sure that will improve as I get more familiar. I still have lots to learn and I definitely appreciate your journeys and adventures! Safe travels! PS. Since you anchor out a good bit, I’d love to hear how your power situation is handled. Do you run a generator for ac? How do you keep your electronic devices charged?
Thanks Maria! The anxiety is definitely real, as we get more and more experiences under our belts it helps. Sounds like you have already had some adventures! We don't run our genny for AC, we have 700W of solar + lithium batteries, which handles all our needs plus some in sunny weather. After a couple days of cloudy weather in a row we need to top up with the genny though. The good thing about the Loop is that you are following the seasons, which means on the majority of days AC isn't required. When those heat spells come we just go to a dock! Cheers!
Wow, I guess this means you already made it to the Great Lakes. I'd love to know about where you're at unless you don't want to share your location publicly. We're just super geeked to see all of your travels around be Michigan. As for this video, congrats on your safe passage on the the Atlantic. Way to be smart about how you did it.
We are in Michigan but haven't yet been able to travel into Lake Michigan due to the winds 😁 Next week is looking really nice and so we will start exploring! We do share a bit more about where we are currently and our future week plans on our Sunday-Summary news letter at schoandjo.com/sunday-summary - cheers!
@@SchoandJo Thanks for the reminder. I'm signing up now. Enjoy your time here!!! We have lots of videos about traveling in Michigan... or I'd be happy to give you advice about the area if you need any.
If this video was realtime, no, we wouldn't. But this video came out in early June. In real time we are in Mackinac City, MI and only one great lake left so we are right on track!
It is and it is expensive but many of those expenses are offset by this being our full-time home. Comparing a mortgage or rent to our diesel and boat insurance its just a different way to do it!
Hi Guys - thx for your channel! I've noticed that you are always easy to hear, Jen. But Elliot is not so much. Might wanna re-think your mic set-up for him…
Why are your videos 2 months behind.. I and many others loce watching you guys but if you want to make a good go of youtube you need to get caught up. You wont get more subs this way 😞. You need to keep up or you won't make money or get anywhere like this on UA-cam
Sorry, Chris you really have no idea what you are talking about…. I’ll break it down simply though, the great loop is a full time commitment. Our goal is to portray our real experiences to hopefully help others and provide some entertainment along the way. When we can’t upload a video in the North Channel, it isn’t because we didn’t try. It’s because we tried and it wasn’t feasible, so we enjoyed the moments being a bit more disconnected then other parts of the loop. Those videos will reflect that when they come out, and I know they will be well received because we enjoyed them! This is our real life we share with y’all, real life is messy and doesn’t always go according to plan. When it doesn’t, you Pivot.
Thank you for watching, and your patience as we've had no internet the past few weeks! This video was filmed on June 6th.

Thanks for watching and your support Will!
Congrats on an awesome "outside" day! So happy to see you guys posting again!
Thanks for watching!

Oh absolutely! We can't wait to edit those videos, they were a blast.
So strange seeing you guys at my home port. You were mored right across the harbor from where I keep my boat
Hehe small world! Maybe we will see you on the water next time 😁

Ollie most definitely spotted the dolphins! She's got a sharp eye! We can't tell if she wants to swim with them or chase them... who knows
Doing builds confidence.
Absolutely!
great vid thanks
Thanks Lester!

Can’t wait to see if you guys take the Rideau Canal through Ottawa
Ya got one more....Manasquan to Great Kills Y/C. Be safe.
😬😬😬
Open water is the best water. No stress.
Hehe less stress about hitting things and more stress about infinite fetch for the wind plus "drifting off to sea" 😂 Its all a tradeoff!
Was wondering what happened to y'all. Glad y'all are back. Dang, that was some smoooooth motoring you had on the open seas. For Jen's sake, glad it was smooth motoring so that she can breathe naturally. LOL 🤠
hehe if only our next Atlantic day was as smooth 😬 Thanks for watching T Mac!
Great video
Thanks Harold!
That's awesome!! I don't think you could have had better weather for your passage. The approach to the anchorage looked pretty tight.

You did all the homework.
Weird
🙏
Good to have you back … 😅 What’s up with your auto pilot?
Its working!! and we love it. The only challenge is with "rough" weather or following seas, it doesn't perform that well. Cheers!
do you guys still have time to make it through the great lakes?

You should do something about these dancing skills. You're no Michael Jackson . But love to see you dance when the worries have gone .
Is traveling vlogging your full time job.Does it get expensive?

Thanks for watching Carl! We had some mic problems, mainly with wind, in this video and the next couple. Will be fixed soon 😁
The Hudson ain’t to great, watch out for floating logs I lost a few props there some years ago
😬 that's rough... there was a toon of debris in the hudson for sure.
If you stress out that much you need rethink being on board.
We think overcoming stress and anxiety is much better than succumbing to it!
you really, really need to get on that brite work
It’s not a priority for our Loop, we are letting it go grey
