Just to play runts advocate for Queen OP, isn't Zerg supposed to be macro and F2 A-move while Terran is less macro and more micro? I feel like that is how the game is designed, but I could be wrong when it comes to higher skill play since I am not good.
Not quite. Zerg is the least F2 A-movable race out of all 3, their units clump up a lot and get destroyed by any sort of AoE as a result. Zerg will require lots of clump micro and they have a lot of fragile and somewhat meh-range spellcasters, while Terran requires more individual unit micro (spreading Marines, setting up Tanks/Mines). Protoss is the most A-movable race by far, they tend to form deathballs with super high-range spellcasters behind them which are significantly easier to manage than T or Z. As for macro, Zerg has the hardest macro by a good margin because you need to constantly inject, and forgetting to do it hurts way more than forgetting a Mule or a Chrono. Most of the reason for this is because you can't instantly spend gathered up Queen energy like you can with Mules and (somewhat) Chrono. You need macro hatches to do it, which are expensive. I'd say Toss/Terran are tied in terms of macro, Mules are easier to use but Toss warp-in is just super handy compared to clunky Barracks.

Not according to Aligulac. Remember, top-tier balance isn't the same as ladder balance. In fact the main reason the ladder got so empty starting with HOTS is exactly because Blizzard ignored ladder balance and focused on pro play only.
None of you are good enough for it to matter. You’re complaining that running is hard but you can’t even crawl. That being said; protoss is underrepresented in pro play due to gateway units being pretty shit for their cost.
That lining up of infantry to be blasted by enemy aoe is precisely what happened recently in Ukraine, 200 Russian soldiers killed. The general who gave the order was already blamed for big losses before, but instead of tribunal got medal because of friends in high places. He is still in command.
It happens in every single modern combat conflict with AOE capability. You thinking this would be an isolated incident unique to Russia just tells how blindly one sided you are And why would you send a general to the tribunal for every military blunder? You do understand, a general can have dozens if not hundreds different local conflicts under his command all at the same time. Just because one, or many of them fail, should not be a reason to behead the general. That would make no sense. No general in the history of mankind could be flawless. The war in Ukraine does not have fantasy movie heroes: its unrealistic to expect that a general could outwit the enemy 100% of the time Do you want Putin to purge generals for every single blunder like in ww2?
Not every, just the most blatant ones. It is one of the main functions of military tribunals, for at least as old as writing. For example, hanging officers for losses caused by failure to organise night watch has been a common practice throughout the history. Generally, blatantly neglecting orders and rules you are expected to follow is what gets you court-marshalled, especially if it led to big losses. Ordering 200 soldiers to line up on open air and stay there for 30 minutes fits the bill, don’t you think? And no, I don’t think it’s unique to orks or even uncommon.
@@asdfasdf9477 Russia and USSR is often criticized for purging its generals, yet here you are saying its what they SHOULD be doing? which is it? And just a thought, but some generals probably have death squads... As in, someone has to do the dirty work... As a general, you probably have to every now and then take a squad and put that squad in a position you know they will die in... Maybe those 200 was just one of those squads. Can you blame the general for doing HIS job?
I disagree with the analogy... it's why we have laws... if you don't enforce laws... in reality, you get a out breeding of trash humans that are cruel and lawless and degenerate.
Idk if I would say that Terran is completely overpowered, but I definitely think that Protoss is having a rough time against Terran in the current meta. I feel like Terran units do so much for what they cost, while every Protoss unit feels like it costs a fortune in comparison. Then there is the dreaded Ghost EMP that completely invalidates half of a Protoss army almost instantly. Not to mention the fact that there has been little to no Protoss representation at the highest level of play lately.
Sure, but down in Diamond, I have a 30% TvP winrate. For comparison, I have 48% in TvT and 68% TvZ. The worst part is, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. At least 3/5 games are cheese into mass carrier, and I never seem to have enough units no matter how much I focus on macro. The only TvP games I win are if I do crushing damage in the early game, and even then, they still almost win a lot.
These pro-gamers never really played sc1 bw. In sc1 bw if terran goes bio then they can give zlots/dragoons a problem if the bio number is high. Now you need splash to deal with it ->, high templar or reaver. This ht/reaver is almost impossible to hard counter. So terran, Instead of starting bio and transitioning to mech they will just opt for mech play. In sc2 its the same concept. Enough bio gives stalker/zlot a problem. Now toss need splash to deal with it -> ht/collo/disruptor. These are very, very expensive units and are hard-countered. In fact, you have to make it hard countered because terran will have a hard time winning. Hts used to start with 75 energy to storm right away, that got nerfed bit yet ghost can emp right away? So unfortunately, tvp has to be slightly imbalanced to make sure elementary terran can actually win cause when terran starts complaining then terran developer cult steps in and does zerg/toss dirty.
@orangepearlf40 I've heard Zerg Cabal and Terran Cult, so I guess there's no Protoss players involved in balancing. A big thing everyone seems to forget is storm can KILL UNITS. EMP does a lot of damage, but it can't kill anything. That's why ghosts can start with EMP and Templar shouldn't start with storm. This complaint also ignores that Templar can be warped in at any power field in 3 seconds, whereas Ghosts have to be trained for their full build time, then they have to walk to wherever they need to EMP. Additionally, Ghosts are more expensive than Templar, 150 125 to 50 150. In conclusion, make Disruptors lol.
@rozmarinideas5340 ghost is actually an imba unit. Have you seen toss struggle with lurkers? Then you have this 5ft tall ghost say -> hold my 🍺 beer. Snipe, snipe. It's comical. Hts can work but hts actually GODMODE micro and sneaky. Either flanking or warp prism cause all ghost has to do is move command -> emp. You cant constantly do move command storm with hts. Disruptors are hit and miss and also requires GODMODE micro. You fire the shot then control the nova manually. At the end of the day tvp is ever so slightly imba favoring terran. My rank goes from 3100-3400 and 58% in Pvt. When I win against terran it's because I have a sense of urgency to do damage instead of allowing terran to have 3 fully saturated bases and spam MMM all day to where I'm defending more than offending. Pvt is harder to master than Tvp. When all else fails with terran put up your sensor tower, Tuttle and mass. It's almost fail proof.
@@rozmarinideas5340 Ghosts also build 10 seconds faster, have 1 greater sight range so you can snipe before ht can target them and just outside of ht sight range, move faster, cloak, 20 more over all hitpoints, and they demand a response in both static defense and the mobile army to deal with nukes. It also takes at least 4 minutes and 50 seconds of time dedicated to tech up to ht with storms while only taking 2 minutes and 5 seconds of time dedicated to tech up for ghosts emp.

You genuinely have no idea what you're talking about. 1. it's the only early anti-air a Zerg has - in many matches the ONLY anti-air Zerg has - and it becomes super weak after the early game 2. an Oracle kills 4 drones before a single Queen takes its shields down 3. a single Queen costs half a Hatchery, you need a good number for them to be effective, and they're useless from an offensive standpoint 4. Oracles are not meant to kill Queens to begin with lmao Genuinely every match against Zerg is about exploiting their piss-poor anti-air and you're complaining about their anti-air being too strong? Tell you what: you can remove Queens if you make Roaches shoot up. Do you prefer that route?
Remove Queens, to maintain balance, Hatcheries can hold 21 larvae on their own and a rate similar to what you had with active inject They may also generate tumors near them. Spore crawlers gain +1 range and Infestors gain Transfuse that can be used off creep. All in all, I'm pretty sure the guy would want queens back shortly after the change

As a general, you probably have to every now and then take a squad and put that squad in a position you know they will die in... Maybe those 200 was just one of those squads. Can you blame the general for doing HIS job?
Newp v , nevar
It also takes at least 4 minutes and 50 seconds of time dedicated to tech up to ht with storms while only taking 2 minutes and 5 seconds of time dedicated to tech up for ghosts emp.
lmfao hes complaining when terran is litterally meant to be the easier race for newb players to play and have a chance
Artosis raging is funny. This rando is just cringe rager. As he tries to set himself up as a good Starcraft player with accolades. Dude tries to create an image that he is a veteran. In reality Starcraft II addict that hit his plateau and stubborness and inflated ego never allowed him past through his errors.
who are these? how are they so bad? disability?
To be fair to the guy, Queens are OP. Mineral only unit, that laughs at Oracles, which cost gas and gas for building. Queens...
"i cant freely harass you with my more expensive unit because you built something that shoots up" god imagine how that works lol. next ur gonna tell me photon cannons are op because they're the same price as a queen and can zone out oracles too. or MARINES! U JUST BUILD BIO AND A MOVE DUMB IMBA RACE!!! 🤣
You genuinely have no idea what you're talking about.
1. it's the only early anti-air a Zerg has - in many matches the ONLY anti-air Zerg has - and it becomes super weak after the early game
2. an Oracle kills 4 drones before a single Queen takes its shields down
3. a single Queen costs half a Hatchery, you need a good number for them to be effective, and they're useless from an offensive standpoint
4. Oracles are not meant to kill Queens to begin with lmao
Genuinely every match against Zerg is about exploiting their piss-poor anti-air and you're complaining about their anti-air being too strong?
Tell you what: you can remove Queens if you make Roaches shoot up. Do you prefer that route?
I actually love these 0 iq comparisons that just instantly expose your low mmr and lack of skill
@@AdraVY 4 Zerglings kill 1 Zealot, therefore Zerglings op lolol.
Remove Queens, to maintain balance, Hatcheries can hold 21 larvae on their own and a rate similar to what you had with active inject
They may also generate tumors near them. Spore crawlers gain +1 range and Infestors gain Transfuse that can be used off creep.
All in all, I'm pretty sure the guy would want queens back shortly after the change
