      It’s an Abel reel on a lamiglas rod. Video coming soon about this setup. Should have 1 or 2 more fishing videos from the Louisiana trip, as well as rod set up video, heron 18 walkthrough video and a few others.

    Looks super fun. Hope the fishing holds up and you find the big bulls. It’d be rad if the fish got back in water a little quicker, too.

      Most just 5-10 seconds out of the water. The longest were 20-30 seconds, feels like a long time but they swam off strong. if you see the cuts in the video, we put the fish back in the water with the net to situate the boat.

    What weight rod was Jose using? He seemed a little under gunned.

      Some of it was definitely not fighting the fish properly, but he was using an 8wt Sage Igniter.

      @ Wow, I would have guessed 6 wt. he high stocked fish a couple of times and I was expecting the rod to explode.
