What a wonderful way to pass the time, in a book store, thanks for taking us along ❣️❣️ We had to downsize a few years ago and I had to part with some books and now our space is limited. Just started getting into audiobooks driving to work and back, I'm enjoying it (plus podcasts). LOVE my libraries 📚📖🩵.
Happy reading!
@junewood3012 Yes, we're short on space, too. I have stacks of books on the floor that I know I'll never actually read. I really need to do an unhaul soon. It does kinda make me sad though.
The Green bible gorgeous
TOWZER books!
Right!? I love green like you love purple:)
‘I’m the cheapest person you’ll ever meet” 🤣🤣🤣💀💀
No lie!!
Love your vlogs Stacy! I’d love to see you do more of them 💜love you!
Yay! Thank you! I honestly don't leave the house much, so it was really nice to be out and feel like ya'll were with me!
I LOVE Tozer! My FAVORITE theologian is Spurgeon, I read, have read so much of his for many yrs. My favorite bible version is the ESV. Also like the NASB and NKJ. I have a gorgeous ESV journaling bible; unfortunately haven't done much in it. Got it because I have been journaling for years. I had the same issue w/ my eyes. My eyes are dry to begin with but I read so much dries them out more. I have to use eye lubricant anyway so I just use more often when I read a long time. Try Systane. Becareful, not all are good for you. I have so many bibles too; most are John Mac Arthur's. His footnotes are unbelievable. Glad I found your channel last night! Psalm 143:8
@eileennielsen5165 Awe thanks and welcome! I've been listening to the Bible on audio this last year because of my eyes. I actually really like listening to it. It's so calming. I do want to get back into physically reading it though. I'm picking up new glasses today. Hopefully that helps!
The Winter Rose looks good! Putting that and the Tozer devotionals on my Amazon wish list
@@paulagranville483 Nice! Can't go wrong with Tozer!
Yay! new video ✨ Watching now...
Hope you enjoyed it!
I really love Books A Million and physical books. I could spend hours in book stores. Take care and God bless you.
@@SoldierPoet It's such a fun place to browse😊
I love Tozer too!
@@chanelwilliams5443 He was the real deal!
I do the same thing about looking for free ebooks and audiobooks. But I’m also now building my physical library. I splurge for beautiful classic books for sure!
I love physical books! I just can't justify buying them anymore since I'm only reading ebooks now. I am getting new glasses next week, bifocals, we'll see if that helps😊
I loved this vlog! I haven't been to BAM in a few years. Those games are cool, I love stuff like that!
@Celestria Thanks Celestria! I love your vlogs too!
Loved this!!
Thanks Miriam! I so wish we all could actually spend more time together in real life!
@@wanderingwithstacy I knowww me toooo!! We would have so much fun doing all the fall things!
Lots of interesting books but that mug! I’m going to have to search it out!
@@eMsBooksAreEverywhere It's so funny😁
@@wanderingwithstacy and some days true!
If nothing else, you can get ideas for your kindle 😊
I visit one about every six months and like to buy from them because our local one does a lot for the troops. 💙
Oh nice! I love that🥰
P.S. I collect special editions of Little Women and Wuthering Heights. Also collect children's bks.
@@eileennielsen5165 It's so interesting to learn what books we all like to collect:)
The 1950s mystery looks good.
Oooh Winter Rose sounds interesting
I want to read it in the winter!
I’m a sucker for a beautiful cover!
They look so pretty on the shelf 🥰
I really liked Brentwood’s Ward by Michelle Greip!
@@robinkirk1821 Nice! I'll definitely have to read that!
Girl go 😂💀💀I cackle
I have two questions. What is your current EDC (everyday Carry) Bible? And what Stephen Lawhead book did you recommend me or would you recommend me now?
@@Twiceborn_by_grace I'm currently reading the NASB from Holman. I think I showed it in this video. I'd recommend the Bone Map. It's a series of I think 6 books.
@@wanderingwithstacy Bone Map! I couldn’t remember.
You have a kid in college?!!! My goodness you don't even look that old! I thought you were in your mid-twenties! I was surprised!
Just curious in your last video when you said you don't really buy books anymore. I don't because I'm visually impaired and need my Kindle for the print. Just wondered what your reason was.
It's refreshing to see somebody on UA-cam talking about books just on Kindle and not big massive bookshelves behind them!
@BitesOfFaith Yes! My kids are 21 and 20 and I'm 46:) I don't even remember the last physical book I read, probably the Bible 😆
Ereaders are such a game changer! I would just have to listen to audio books without them. That giant font is everything!
A college student? That's wild, you look great.
Fellowship of the Puzzle Makers was a pass for me when the liberal ideas showed up full force.
@@chanelwilliams5443 Yes, she's 21! I also have a 28 year old step daughter that's having a baby. I'm about to be a grandma 😆
That stinks about that book, I'm so glad you let me know!
The Christian fiction section in mainstream bookstores Is so weak💯
And the witchy books are taking over! Boo!
