Every year, I use a different translation of the Bible for my annual reading. This year, I chose the NLT and bought a green Schuyler Quentel. Super nice Bible, and I love reading from it!
Hi Tim, would love to see a video on the best **quality** economy bibles for giving out to people (that don't have "the plan of salvation" and other such things in them so each person can share the Gospel according to their own method, wisdom, and tradition).

The only NLT Bible I currently own is the Life Recovery Bible. It was given to me about a month ago by my Pastor, whom just baptized me this past Sunday!! On my birthday, the 25th of October, I ordered a copy of the 1995 NIV 10th Anniversary Edition Study Bible in Cowhide Burgundy. I am so waiting right this moment for it to come in the mail. Love all your videos Tim and was excited when I watched your NIV Study Bible Review! These videos are a great tool for me. I really want a Schuyler Bible, I am just unsure of which translation and which style to get. I've narrowed it down, but I am going to take my time. They are so nice!! I'm a new believer and finding God has truly changed my life. As a mother of 2 money is sometimes tight so winning a Bible would be so amazing. I'm hungry for God's word and I want to follow Jesus with all my heart. I think the NLT would be perfect for me as I'm from Finland and understanding the older versions is very difficult for me. I wish I could start reading a Bible I truly understand in order for me to start living by God's word. I used to party, drink, do such stupid things, I'm so grateful I'm alive and I can aim for a holy life every single day. Great picks bro! I've got that original filament single column and agree it's super duper cool. Nickel's actually recommended it in a vid as well so I ordered it from Christian book at the time. Also have the large print thinline ref but in black genuine leather. Their genuine leather is solid, me likey! Honourable mention from me: NLT Life Application Study Bible 3rd edition baby! Gots all my NLT needs covered yo!

I love the immerse series! In my have the messiah book because we are reading it together as a church and meeting no weekly in small groups to discuss it. I have really enjoyed it!

Great list of NLT Bibles. I’m currently reading through the “Daily Reader’s Bible” which was a collaboration between Tyndale and 2KDenmark. It’s been brilliant to read through so far and recommend it to someone wanting to read the the Bible in a year. 😊
I have never used a NLT bible. I ordered a filament NLT, got it in the mail last week and gave it a a friend of mne whose boyfriend doesn’t own a Bible. So I plan on ordering a new one.
Fashionably late to the NLT week. I was recently gifted a value NLT after having not really read the NLT since the early 2000s and I have found it a very pleasant read, good for daily devotional reading time. But I’ve come to the realization that I really prefer single column Bibles. I find double column designs make the text size seem smaller than it actually is, if that makes sense. I was considering the leather like filament Bible but I may also wait to see what the Humble Lamb SONRISE NLT design looks like and splurge on something premium.
I have the original Filament and the Schuyler but my all-time favorite of all bibles (and I have dozens & dozens of them, not only in English but in several languages) is my NLT thinline center-column reference Bible which I had rebound. I LOVE the references in the center-column (excellent readability & easy to find) + separated from the notes at the bottom, and the numerous aides at the end of the Bible are just awesome. + It's my favorite translation (and I'm a translator by training). My Bible that I am working through right now is Filament enabled journaling Bible. Absolutely love it, it is my favorite journaling bible, and I love how I can use the filament app for study resourses while I write and journal in the bible.

My everyday Bible is the One Step Closer Bible in the NLT translation so I do love that one. The filament one looks so interesting. I forgot about that one. I love the idea of all the extra info in the app.
That Art Living Bible looks totally awesome, another great way to get the NLT translation!!! 😃 I got a Filament NLT myself, it's a Thinline Reference Enabled Edition with a pretty turquoise colored cover and ribbon and with a silver gilding.

I love the Immerse edition. I wish they would do a version in a premium binding, or even just cloth over board in a set. The typesetting and presentation is excellent, just makes reading for pleasure so enjoyable.
Tyndale Select/Schuyler Caxton was designed and released before the original Filament Bible, and the exact same Designer/Editor team was behind them both--which is why we chose that typesetting as the foundation of the Filament concept. Glad you love it so much!

I was really enjoying reading the New Testament in the NLT until I came to Luke 17:37, “Where will this happen, Lord?” the disciples asked. Jesus replied, “Just as the gathering of vultures shows there is a carcass nearby, SO THESE SIGNS INDICATE THAT THE END IS NEAR.” That last bit isn’t found in any Greek manuscript. So why was it added? It makes me wonder what other additions have been made.
Love them all. I have the original filament,the Allen,and Quentel. I think they are just superb. I believe I have the Caxton also. Love your review of these Bibles.
My favorite Nlt bible is the life application study bible. I like this review because the Nlt is pretty much the only bible translation I,m studying and reading from right now.

My favorite NLT is the Thinline Reference in genuine leather. The small one, 8.5 x 5.5, 9pt type.
This will last the rest of my life.
