I feel like I start the year out strong with Read-A-Thons and challenges and then lose steam toward the end of the year lol. I haven't participated in months.
Hello Stacy! You have been on my mind ever since you made the video about a night terror that you had. It does seem to be going around... Taking from my background of being in New Age and not even knowing it before I came to Christianity, I have some advice for you. Satan works through entertainment, so be careful what you have in your house and be careful of what you read. Guard your heart and mind and don't allow Satan to have a foothold. I remember when I was around 10 or 11 years of age about my next door neighbor being a witch but I didn't know it was evil at the time. I just thought, "magic tricks"! How cool! But God in his mercy protected me from that and nothing I tried from her worked out! Praise God!
LOVE the idea of that Lewis/Tolkien book - heard about it a bit - I would like the military reverence portion but will probably cry the whole time as a military family girl as well. Thank you and your fam for your service to our country, btw. 💙
I was that way in school with books - any book I was assigned to read, I hated, lol. But as an adult, as long as I'M the one choosing the books, I don't mind a TBR. I try to choose books that are ones I already have wanted to read, with an occasional new book or two thrown in.
Tried to read the Michelle Griep book, because I liked a lot the Dracula one, but for some reason I could not get into it, might try later added the Cherringham books to my TBr pile 😊
I loved both of these books by Erin. They are both dark but they do have a redemption arc. In Crown of Chains the mordecai character is definitely dark.
I'm so sorry about that unexpected topic in the JJW book. I understand completely, just a different topic, how upsetting books can be. I wish so much there was a website for clean/christian fiction that would let you filter out certain things. Wouldn't that be wonderful?!
@@wanderingwithstacy What?!!! Oh wow, going there right now! I know 'LindseyfromBFCG' goes into GREAT details for hundreds of books on her website and goodreads. I usually check there if I'm thinking of I book that I'm afraid might be too gritty. But I know she can't possibly write about every book out there. Thanks for this website!!!💙
Hello, I hope you are well. I saw your UA-cam channel. Your channel has 2.95k subscribers and 159 videos. Your channel and video content is very good. Also the thumbnail design is very attractive. But here are some problems: 1. SEO score is very low 2. No title - description - tags are SEO friendly 3. Not sharing on social media platforms and your UA-cam channel is a lot of trouble. As a result views, likes and subscribers are not increasing. Benefits of 100% SEO Score: 1/ Views will increase 2/ Likes will increase 3/ Customers will increase 4/ Viewing time will increase 5/ Business will increase 6/ Audience will increase. 7/ Sales will increase. So, if you want your channel to increase subscribers, views, likes and comments with proper video SEO, Google ads and monetization. It will be your right decision. Do you want to increase your SEO score? I am waiting for your response. Thank you
Enjoyed the wrap-up!
Thanks Bethany!

I love the idea of them, they're so clever and well done, but they always end up feeling like school work and that ruins it for me.

@BitesOfFaith I hate the idea of it going around! I am pretty careful with things. I have a much lower tolerance for stuff than I used to.

@@OldeAmericanSpirit I think you'd really like it! And thank you too😊
That Griep cover is gorgeous!
@OldeAmericanSpirit It really is! I want that dress!

I often feel the same way about when books are on a TBR!
It's so weird, but it honestly makes me feel like reading it is a chore I have to cross off a list. 🫤
Loved this video. I enjoy readathons and often it doesn’t work out because I’m such a mood reader.
Thanks! Mood reading is the best!
I need to check out Gladwynne Grant. It sounds up my alley!

@@ReadBrucey I loved the redemption on Bond of Briars, so good!
Thanks for the Christian fiction suggestions!
@@TheNovelHoneyShelf-Essie You're welcome 😊
I love Cherringham! You might like the Bunbury mysteries by Helena Marchmont. They are a similar style.
@eMsBooksAreEverywhere I haven't heard if it, will definitely check it out!

@OldeAmericanSpirit There is a website called Does the Dog die that does that for books and movies. I need to be better at checking that out first.
