the original captured the anger, Ronnie captured the sadness
he did it on a piano like the original artist wrote it love the way it turned out
I can certainly think of a few words, brilliant, poignant, genius, raw emotion.. I love Ronnie Radke.
Papa version was meant to make you sing along and not notice... and this version is made, specifically, to make you notice.. that in the "I wish someone would tell me" lyrics, back when we were screaming the lyrics and paying no attention, we were that "someone". The numbness of the original is almost ironically amazing

I agree. I don't believe one version is better than another. They are so different. Only the lyrics compare. If I feel sad I like this one better. If I feel angry I like the other one better. :) However, I am a Falling in Reverse fanatic (kind of). Going to see them for the fourth time in two years in October. :)
That’s legit it, the original offers a more anger and more amp version but this opens up the sadness and deep meaning in the lyrics 😊
Ps: I want to hate you, I’d love to see them live 😂

I love someone else's comment on this song. The original was what we needed as an angry teenager, and this version is what we need as a sad adult. But also, the original was like a threat of doing it, and this one is a plea for help to NOT do it.
Loved your reaction! I heard you ask for suggestions. I don't know if you've heard of or listen to From Ashes to New. They are a favorite of mine. I would recommend My Name, Panic, Heartache, Nightmare, and Crazy just to name a few.

The original was more anger, still emotional but angry? Ronnie has done something that very very few bands have done, which is make it hard for me to remember the original, all that's in my head now is this version. Hits hard for sure. I do have a suggestion for a review I'd like your take on... Dan Vasc- Amazing Grace, unbelievable.
