When the original of this song came out, it was 2000 and I was 25. At that time, both my parents were still alive. Now it's 2024 and I turned 49 in January, now my parents are both gone. Mom in 2002, Dad in 2010. This song cover hit hard the first time I heard it. Driving home from a tough work day. I cried as I listened to it for the first time on my radio station.

First I would say I am very sorry for the loss of your parents 💔
I believe I was in the 9th grade when the original dropped, this song woke up so much rage in me as an adolescent. But hearing it as an adult I felt the lyrics. Time/Experience has humbled me...
      Thank you for watching.

I just want to say that I love your vulnerability about your struggles and demons. It is comforting to hear true sentiment that I can relate to that doesn’t feel forced or almost like a set reaction. A lot of the songs get so many reactions that almost feel like people are doing it just for the views. You connect with these tracks internally aswell and it’s refreshing thank you

I couldn’t wait for you to get to this one. It’s one of my favorites of all time. The cinematography is incredible all the way through. Ronnie knows how to do this. He also gave us the sound of what “not being ok” actually sounds like at 8:48. You can FEEL that. It blew me away.
I appreciate you sharing with all of us. This is so different hearing this now as opposed to when we were teenagers or early 20s. I think I cried my way through this one the first 10 times I watched it. I LOVE watching someone else see it for the first time too. It’s powerful as……anything can be. 💗🙏🏼🇺🇸 God Bless.
Watching Ronnie show Jacoby this song (without his video) he LOVED IT! There is a video out there to see if you want to check it out. Not for a reaction, just fun to see how he heard it the first time too.

I actually thought about re-reacting to this one once more lol I felt I could have said more...alot of what was going on in my head was not truly conveyed. . .along with the Cinematography, Musical Storytelling and so much more. I agree that the original was hitting different in my early years...it felt rebellious, out of control.
But this reimagined version hit on so many levels as an adult now...I can feel the words...I understand the words now ❤️
I saw that video with Ronnie showing it to Jacoby....my mind was blown! Loved it ☺️

@@Cinematic_Jesse while I absolutely love this one, it got me watching the other falling in reverse videos and the cinematography in those blew my mind too. Voices in My Head still may be my favorite video, the mini movie I call it. The stuff in that one was insane and I sent it to a friend of mine that draws anime and designs characters etc. he said it was the best one he’d had ever seen and he actually based one of his stories on it from the inspiration of the concept. Anyway, geeking out over music and videos and movies (it’s my thing). Zombified also awesome. Popular Monster and many more are so good. So I’m always in love with watching reactors that know what they are talking about, watch their videos. Like Ren and Tom, Ronnie never misses a moment to add detail. It makes just a cool thing to watch. Voices in My Head video I think could be its own movie if someone wanted to run with that. He already mixed John Wick and the Matrix to talk about having medical hypochondria. I mean it’s like 🤯 in the best way possible. Ok I’ll stop filling up your comment section on me nerding out about this stuff lol. See you on the next one 😉

And it shouldn't be a big secret that Ronnie understands it just as well. He has turned a timeless classic into a masterpiece.

I think Ronnie gives the text the right, worthy framework. The Papa Roach version is too rocky for the seriousness of the lyrics. That's exactly what Ronnie gets from this song, the pain and the struggle with and against evil thoughts. I keep hearing this song and it always gives me goosebumps. Surely only people who have psychological problems and fight against their demons on a daily basis can understand this. How often her world collapses and threatens to bury her. How many times do you think, "I can't go on like this" and fight your way out, only to find, over and over again, "Nothing's okay". But they still fight on every day. They resist to be buried under their collapsing world. The sad thing is that too many people lose this battle, ultimately running out of strength and being buried under their collapsing world.

If you're into cinematic things, I've got the right suggestion. Not just for something you'd enjoy, but it'll trigger the algorithm, because its more viral than a chinese bat right now.
    Skibidi Toilet.
Before you roll your eyes (I know I did when I heard of this thing.) hear me out.
The entire series can be watched in 20 minutes. The first two episodes seem like a zoomer tiktok meme. But episode 3 hits real different. (I'm being vague to avoid spoilers.) From this point forward, you begin seeing plot. Interesting plot. And with every episode, you see the progress in design, cinematography and storytelling.
And I do mean pure visual storytelling. There's no voice. No language barrier.
Its not an exaggeration to say by episode 50, that its giving Avengers vibes.
And it conveys the story in a new way. From first person perspective, and in episodes that are 10 seconds to a minute long, each.
If you make it past episode 7, (like.... 3 minutes) you'll watch the whole thing.
And during your watch, you'll start by making a wtf-face, then a confused one as you question yourself, and finally, you'll just be glued to the screen.
I don't usually make suggestions, and this might not be your type of content to react to, but I'm certain you'd enjoy the weird ride even if you didn't react to it.
Just throwing it out because its algorithm cheat-code at the moment.
